Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu menguji literasi keuangan, inklusi keuangan dan perilaku keuangan yang diterapkan oleh pelaku UMKM perempuan di Jambi. Pelaku UMKM dengan gender perempuan, menjadi subjek dari penelitian serta berdomisili di Jambi. Kemudian, sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 167 pelaku UMKM perempuan. Data dihimpun melalui survei daring selama periode tiga bulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa literasi keuangan memiliki dampak positif terhadap inklusi keuangan dan perilaku keuangan, sementara inklusi keuangan juga berpengaruh positif terhadap perilaku keuangan. Lebih lanjut, hasil dari uji hipotesis dalam penelitian ini dapat menjadi alat untuk penetapan strategi dari UMKM dengan pemahaman literasi keuangan dan inklusi keuangan pada kelangsungan bisnis jangka panjang.

Abstract

The primary objective of this research is to investigate the impact of overinvestment on corporate performance. It also seeks to analyze the effectiveness of debt policy, dividend policy, and the combined use of debt and dividend policy in alleviating the adverse effects of overinvestment on corporate performance. The study utilizes data from a sample of 53 non-financial companies that carried debt and consistently distributed dividends from 2010 to 2022. Overinvestment is assessed through two methods: the residual value derived from the new investment equation and the Hodrick-Prescott (HP) filter. The data is then transformed into panel data, and various models such as fixed effect, random effect, and common effect are applied to identify the most suitable model. The findings indicate a negative correlation between overinvestment and corporate performance. Debt policy emerges as a mitigating factor, addressing agency conflicts and reducing the adverse impact of overinvestment on company performance. Similarly, dividend policy proves effective in mitigating the negative effects of overinvestment by constraining excess cash. The combination of debt and dividend policies is identified as a comprehensive strategy to mitigate overinvestment, as it aids in curbing excessive free cash flow. However, it is noted that this combination also lowers financing funds to their minimum level, potentially leading to a shortage of funds for future profitable projects. Consequently, careful calculations are emphasized to ensure companies strike a balance, avoiding neglect of profitable investments in the future.

Abstract

This research aims to form a model strategy for community life satisfaction by developing sustainable tourism in cultural heritage sites. This research used mixed method: qualitative method by in-depth interviews with four respondents from local communities, MSMEs, Kawasan Cagar Budaya Nasional (KCBN) Muaro Jambi, government involved in heritage site tourism activities and analyzed using QDA Miner. The quantitative method was by distributing questionnaires using purposive sampling to 200 respondents, and data were processed using SmartPLS to build a holistic model of community life satisfaction in heritage sites. The results of this research are: firstly, social culture and urban landscapes contribute to community satisfaction; secondly, social culture and urban landscape have a significant positive influence on sustainable tourism; thirdly, through sustainable tourism, community life satisfaction will be formed. This research has relevant implications for providing a deeper understanding of the impact of sustainable tourism in improving community life satisfaction in heritage sites by integrating natural values and urban landscape and empowering the local community.

Abstract

Desa Mendalo Darat di Provinsi Jambi memiliki potensi UMKM yang besar, namun menghadapi tantangan daya saing dan branding di era digital. Transformasi digital, kecerdasan buatan (AI), dan pembayaran digital menjadi krusial di tengah perkembangan teknologi. Kendala utama UMKM terkait kurangnya pemahaman dan akses terhadap teknologi baru, termasuk AI dan pembayaran digital. Pentingnya pendampingan UMKM terlihat dari perlunya meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, pemasaran, dan memperkuat branding. Di era pandemi dan perubahan perilaku konsumen ke platform digital, kehadiran UMKM di ranah digital menjadi kunci keberlanjutan bisnis. Kegiatan pendampingan bertujuan memberdayakan UMKM di Desa Mendalo Darat melalui pemanfaatan teknologi AI dan digital payment, diharapkan meningkatkan daya saing, keberlanjutan usaha, dan memperkuat branding produk. Langkah-langkah konkret mencakup pelatihan, pengenalan aplikasi AI sesuai kebutuhan UMKM, dan implementasi sistem pembayaran digital.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi dan internet di Indonesia secara bersamaan mempengaruhi meningkatnya pengguna social media. Hal itu, mendorong Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) juga perlu beradaptasi dengan memanfaatkan teknologi digital guna meningkatkan efisiensi dalam pemasaran, berkomitmen dengan pelanggan dan membangun brand image lebih efektif. Penggunaan Tiktok tidak hanya menjadi tren di kalangan muda, tetapi juga menjadi alat pemasaran yang potensial. Tiktok adalah cara efektif bagi UMKM untuk mencapai target audiens yang lebih luas melalui video pendek yang menarik dan kreatif. Target peserta program ini adalah kelompok usia muda dengan usia antara 18-40 tahun karena dianggap memiliki potensi yang tinggi bagi UMKM. Selain itu program ini juga mendorong pengembangan jiwa wirausaha sejak dini yang diyakini akan memiliki pengaruh baik untuk masa depan mereka. Program PKM di Desa Mendalo ini juga sejalan dengan upaya pemerintah Provinsi Jambi untuk mendigitalisasi UMKM. Dengan adanya kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini dapat membuka wawasan Masyarakat khususnya pelaku UMKM dalam menambah ilmu pengetahuan tentang membuat konten kreatif dan efektif menggunakan aplikasi Tiktok.

Abstract

Perencanaan keuangan menjadi sumber yang penting untuk mempersiapkan kelancaran bisnis maupun kehidupan di masa depan. Perencanaan keuangan juga bisa membantu seseorang untuk mempersiapkan dana dalam menghadapi risiko yang mungkin akan terjadi didalam hidupnya. Di era ketidakpastian saat ini, banyak sekali permasalahan yang timbul akibat adanya kekurangan perencanaan keuangan yang matang. Literasi keuangan merupakan rangkaian aktivitas atau proses dalam meningkatkan keterampilan, keyakinan, dan pengetahuan seseorang untuk mampu mengelola keuangan pribadi secara yang lebih baik lagi. Otoritas jasa keuangan (OJK) menjelaskan bahwa tujuan dalam pembelajaran literasi keuangan agar dapat mewujudkan masyarakat (individu) yang mampu memanfaatkan produk atau jasa keuangan untuk peningkatan kesejahteraan mereka. Literasi keuangan merupakan komponen penting dalam kehidupan masyarakat dan individu diharuskan untuk mempunyai pengetahuan sejak dini untuk mengelola keuangan secara tepat. Sosialisasi berupa penyampaian materi dan praktek literasi keuangan di kalangan masyarakat muda di kalangan remaja, yakni siswa dan siswi SMA masih rendah. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 12 Kota Jambi dengan tujuan adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan tentang uang dan pentingnya menabung, meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang Lembaga keuangan di Indonesia beserta manfaat dan resiko terhadap produk keuangan, dan untuk mengajarkan tentang skala prioritas dalam mengelola keuangan

Abstract

Peningkatan brand dan pemasaran digital memegang peran kunci dalam mengangkat profil dan daya saing Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM), khususnya pada sektor warung makan. Pada era digital ini, transformasi teknologi telah membuka peluang baru bagi UMKM untuk meningkatkan visibilitas mereka melalui strategi pemasaran online yang efektif. Kegiatan pengabdian ini memiliki tujuan utama memberikan pengetahuan baru untuk UMKM warung makanan yang ada di sekitar telanaipura dan khususnya Warung Makan Paloma. Pengabdian ini dihadiri oleh 6 dosen dan 2 mahasiswa dari Universitas Dinamika Bangsa Jambi serta diikut oleh 23 partisipan. Kegiatan berjalan dengan lancar, dan pemilik Warung Paloma pun berharap agar pelatihan manajemen brand dan pemasaran digital harus lebih banyak lagi terutama untuk UMKM di Kota Jambi

Abstract

The main objective of this study is to analyze the impact of overinvestment on firm performance and the moderating role of debt policy, dividend policy in reducing the negative effect of overinvestment on firm performance. This study uses data from a sample of 50 non-financial companies that have debt and consistently pay dividends from 2010 to 2023. Overinvestment is calculated through two methods: the residual value of the new investment equation and the Hodrick-Prescott (HP) filter. The data was then transformed into panel data, and various models such as fixed effect, random effect, and common effect were applied to identify the most appropriate model. This study found a negative correlation between overinvestment and firm performance. Debt policy is a mitigating factor in overcoming agency conflicts and reducing the negative impact of overinvestment on firm performance. Dividend policy is proven effective in reducing the negative impact of overinvestment by limiting excess cash. The combination of debt and dividend policy is identified as a comprehensive strategy to mitigate overinvestment, as it helps limit excessive free cash flow. This combination also lowers financing funds to a minimum level that could potentially lead to a shortage of funds for profitable projects in the future. Careful calculations are required to ensure the company achieves a balance, avoiding the neglect of profitable investments in the future.

Abstract

Saturation with modern forms of tourism and the desire to experience life in rural areas again and interact with the community and its socio-cultural activities has led to the development of tourism in rural areas packaged in the form of tourist villages. Tourists who visit are not only interested in the beauty of natural potential but also want to have the opportunity to learn the culture of the area they are visiting. Therefore, tourist villages and local wisdom are two things that synergize with each other. The development of tourist villages is currently still not optimal because it is faced with the obstacles that have been explained previously. One of the crucial obstacles that has the potential to damage the cultural order and life of the community is the degradation of local wisdom. This study aims to formulate a Local Wisdom-Based Tourism Village Governance Model in Jambi Province.This study applies a combination research (mixed method). The combination research used is the Sequential Exploratory Design type, namely the initial stage using qualitative research types, then the second stage using quantitative research types. The objects used in this study were tourist villages in Regencies and Cities in Jambi Province. The results of the study found that the diversity of local wisdom in the form of tourist villages in Jambi Province. Jambi Province has various types of tourist villages based on local wisdom, one of which is the Muaro Jambi Tourist Village and the Seberang Kota Jambi Tourist Village. Meanwhile, this study specifically provides the conclusion that the higher the local wisdom in an area, the higher the performance of the tourist village, Local wisdom is not able to moderate the relationship between tourism village governance and tourism village performance, The higher the governance of tourism villages in an area, the higher the performance of the tourist village

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of green MSMEs on economic sustainability in Jambi Province, the influence of green finance on green MSMEs, and the role of green MSMEs in promoting economic sustainability in Jambi City through green finance. Additionally, it seeks to develop models for Green MSMEs and Green Finance to support a sustainable economy in the region. Employing a Sequential Exploratory Design, this research involved collecting and analyzing quantitative data from 200 MSMEs engaged in environmentally focused businesses. The analysis utilized Smart-PLS to construct the model. The findings indicate that Green MSMEs positively influence Economic Sustainability, Green Finance positively impacts Economic Sustainability, Green MSMEs positively affect Green Finance, and Green Finance serves as an effective mediator in the relationship between Green MSMEs and Economic Sustainability
