Abstract

Pelanggaran lalu lintas anak dibawah umur di Bangkinang kota yang terus meningkat setiap tahunnya sangat membahayakan mereka dan pengguna jalan lainnya. Pengendara dibawah umur juga belum memiliki SIM dan tentunya hal ini sangat berbahaya, terlebih lagi secara emosional mereka belum stabil saat berkendara. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran pelanggaran lalu lintas oleh anak dibawah umur di Bangkinang kota, untuk untuk mengetahui perilaku kepatuhan anak dibawah umur tentang keselamtan lalu lintas, dan untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab pelanggaran lalu lintas oleh anak dibawah umur di Bangkinang kota. Penelitian ini berlokasi di Kecamatan Bangkinang kota, penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan sekunder. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif yaitu dengan menyaring seluruh data sehingga ditemukan data baru, penting, dan mempunyai nilai dengan menggunakan data penunjang dari kuesioner dan wawancara. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan sekunder kemudian melakukan uji validitas kuesioner, uji validitas didapatkan dengan cara mengguanakan SPSS. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian validitas rtabel dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,05 atau 5% adalah 0,099. Data dapat dikatakan valid apabila nilai ????ℎ???????????????????? > 0,099 (???????????????????????? ). Adapun hasil mean tertinggi yang di dapatkan pada analisis kuesioner ini adalah telah mengendarai sepeda motor walaupun masih dibawah 17 tahun dengan mean 4,03 . Faktor penyebab pelanggaran lalu lintas oleh anak di bawah umur disebabkan oleh 2 faktor. Yaitu faktor teman sebaya, dan faktor kurangnya pemahaman terhadap keselamatan lalu lintas. Abstract

Implementasi kurikulum terbaru menuntut tenaga pendidik agar lebih menguasai teknologi informasi. Berbagai media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi pun bermunculan. Khususnya suatu media yang dapat menarik perhatian siswa, terutama anak usia dini. TK Islam YLPI dan TK Tahfidz YLPI menaruh perhatian besar terhadap pengenalan Bahasa Inggris kepada anak usia dini, Selain itu, TK Islam YLPI bekerjasama dengan TK Tahfidz YLPI memiliki konsep literasi digital yang bertujuan memperkenalkan indahnya budaya membaca ke peserta didik. Melalui adanya konsep literasi digital ini, tenaga pendidik membutuhkan media yang efektif untuk membuat bahan ajar. Dalam hal ini, peserta didik diajak untuk bermain sambil belajar membaca Bahasa Inggris melalui tontonan video animasi Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pelatihan pembuatan animasi sederhana kepada guru-guru Pendidikan agar memiliki keahlian yang mumpuni dalam membuat bahan ajar berbasis animasi untuk meningkatkan budaya literasi membaca siswa. Media yang digunakan yaitu aplikasi berbasis web bernama Powtoon.

Abstract

Monitoring growth and development is an activity to detect early deviations in growth (deficient or poor nutritional status, short children), developmental deviations (delayed speaking), and mental and emotional deviations in children (impaired concentration and hyperactivity). The aim of this community service is to increase public knowledge about the normal growth and development of toddlers and increase mothers' awareness about the importance of stimulating toddler growth and development. A survey conducted by the Community Service Team on mothers with toddlers stated that posyandu officers at the East Labu Baru Health Center lacked education, especially regarding the growth and development of toddlers. The method of implementing this service was through midwife and doctor discussions, questions and answers, and weight checks on toddlers. The service was carried out at Posyandu Bunga Matahari, RW 08 Labuh Baru Timur Village. Under the target of every mother who has a toddler, it will be held every month on September 13, 2023. After the outreach activities are carried out, the participants who attend understand how to monitor the growth and development of toddlers and can monitor the ideal body weight of toddlers.

Abstract

English learning materials that incorporate local culture are limited, particularly those that reflect and preserve the Riau heritage. As Malay culture is deeply rooted in Islamic values, integrating these elements into language education can promote cultural transmission while enhancing student engagement. This study aims to design English learning materials that embed Riau cultural elements for tenth-grade students in Pekanbaru. This study adopts a descriptive-evaluative method within the Research and Development (RD) model proposed by Borg and Gall. The full model includes ten phases, but this research focuses specifically on the design phase (stages 2 and 3): learning objective planning and initial draft creation. Activities during this phase involved identifying and analyzing learning goals, assessing student characteristics, and developing a structured instructional plan. The subjects consisted of 40 tenth-grade students. The design process yielded English learning materials that integrate Riau heritage through culturally relevant texts and context-based exercises. The content was tailored to students' backgrounds to foster deeper comprehension, engagement, and emotional connection with the material. The materials were structured to support language acquisition while simultaneously promoting cultural preservation. Embedding local heritage into English language learning helps students develop linguistic proficiency and cultural identity simultaneously. These culturally infused materials are expected to enhance student motivation, interest, and participation by making learning more meaningful and relatable. This study provides a framework for developing localized educational content that fosters both academic and cultural growth, enabling students to share their heritage with a global audience.

Abstract

We carried out this community service project in RT 02/RW 08 of East Labuh Baru District, Pekanbaru, to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Indonesian Independence in 2025. The program combined a gate decoration contest with various traditional community games (e.g., tug-of-war, sack races, and pole climbing) and special children’s competitions. These activities served as a vital mechanism for promoting social participation and citizen unity. Our main goal was to strengthen the community’s spirit of mutual cooperation (gotong royong), enhance social solidarity, and instill a deeper sense of nationalism. We used a participatory approach for implementation, involving residents in every stage, from initial planning to final evaluation. The results demonstrated significant success: resident participation reached 95%, the neighborhood became noticeably cleaner and more attractive, and the RT 02/RW 08 residents even secured third place in the District-Level Gate Decoration Contest. This project proves that combining art, sport, and mutual cooperation (gotong royong) through community service effectively strengthens social cohesion and actively fosters a more harmonious character among urban residents
