Abstract

Abstract: In the pragmatics, meaning or purpose that appear in a speech called implicatures. Implicatures that appear of two or more people who is conversing with each other called conversational implicature. The purpose of this research is to describe the implicatures of conversations in the Hidamari No Kanojo novel. Besides that, it also aimed to explain the purpose of the communicative acts on it. Theory that used were Grice (1975) to find out kind of implicatures conversational according to flouting of maxim in the coorperative principle and Brown (1980) about communicative acts. This research is a qualitative descriptive method to decribing the data in the Hidamari No Kanojo novel. The results of this study were (1) found general conversational implicatures as much as 12 data, the special conversational implicatures as many as 8 data (2) mean of conversational implicatures by the speakers explained through the communicative acts which is classified into 15 types according to their intended purpose.Key Words: Implicatures, Coorperative Principle, Communicative Acts, Novel, Pragmatics.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research was to find out the media Prezi effect of the Japanese language (Bunpou 2) on the students level 1 FKIP University of Riau. The research was experimental research which used the type matching only post-test control group design. The object of this research is a Japanese students level 1 riau university consisting of 31 samples one of eksperiment class and control class. Data collection technigue used this research was performed by giving test. The given test was post-test. Post-test is given after the students are taught with media Prezi. This research is processed using statistical tests (T-test) to know whether Ha is accepted or not. Based on statistically analyzing data using the formula it was found that thitung > ttabel (3,32 > 1,67). It means that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. The result of this research is that there is a significant impact of using media Prezi of Japanese language (Bunpou 2) on the students level 1 of Japanese Education Department Education Riau University. Level of learning achievement for students in eksperimental class is categorized well (B+) with the average 77,19 and students in control class is categorized sufficient (C) with the average 60,12 . This shows that the use of mediaPrezi on learning Bunpou 2 can improve student achievement.Keywords: Bunpou 2, Media Prezi

Abstract

Abstract: The background of writen this research is the mistake of using particle lokatif ni, de, he dan wo at thrird grade university student japanese language education. Function similtary of particle located ni, de, he dan wo often student japanese language make mistake in it applicated. Research was done to get the error higest frequency particles and cause error usage particles.The purpose of this research to get result of knowledge for particle lokatif. The method that use in research is error analysis method language. The result of research with the highest frequency of errors occured in de particles, with stative location marker function.Key words: Error Analysis, Particle, Locative.

Abstract

Abstract: The research discussed about kakujoshi ni in Japanese sentences. The aim of this research is to know kakujoshi ni in Japanese language have an ability become proportion case marker and modal case marker according to Cook and Fillmore. The object of this research is Japanese sentence which have kakujoshi ni and verb. This research is a qualitative research which used descriptive method. As the result of this research, it is found that kakujoshi ni there are four of proportion case marker in Japanese language such as Agentive, Dative, Locative, Time and five of modal case marker in Japanese language such as Outer Benefactive, Outer Locative, Source of Modal case, Goal of Modal case, Time of Modal case, Result of Modal case. Beside that, this research find kakujoshi ni can be possible join to Active verb, Procces verb, and Stative verb.Key Word : Kakujoshi ni, Japanese Sentences

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to describe the effectivenes of cooperative learning model type Time Token Arend for student’s speaking ability in Kaiwa IV Course. In this study, Kaiwa 4 Course was learned with Japanese Foundation (JF) Standard Learning Design. One of the difficulties that student had during Kaiwa 4 learning process was lack of motivation due to monotonous learning situation. Therefore, Time Token Arends method was applied to create a varied and creative learning atmosphere. This study is a weak experimental research with one group pretest posttest design. The object of this study was the students 2017/2018 class A of Japan Study Program in Faculty Teachers Training in Education at Riau University. The sampling technique that used in this study was Purposive Sampling Technique. Based on the result of the study, there is an improvement after the students get treatment with Time Token Arend Method. The students become more excited during Kaiwa IV learning process. Futhermore, vocabulary that used by students during speaking was more varied. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to find out the difference of student’s ability in writing Japanese essays (sakubun) after implementing Secret Message Game. The research is conducted using weak experimental type one group pre test post test design. The object of this research is 16 second-level students as the respondents. The sample is taken by using simple random sampling technique. Data collection was performed by giving test and questionnaire. The given test was writing Japanese essays (sakubun) with the topic “hobby”. The writer applies two tests, they are pre test and post test. Pre test is given before the students are taught by implementing Secret Message Game, and post test is given after the students are taught with Secret Message Game. This research is processed by paired sample t-test using software of SPSS Version 16 in order to know whether Ha is accepted or not. Based on the data analysis, the value of the post test in writing Japanese essays is lower than 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05). It means that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. Besides that, most students agree that this game is effectively helping to write Japanese essays (sakubun) easily. The result of this research is that there is a significant impact of using Secret Message Game in learning of Japanese essays (sakubun) on the second-level students of Japanese Education Department Faculty of Teacher’s Training and Education Riau University.Key Words: Sakubun, Secret Message Game, Writing Skill

Abstract

Abstract : This study identified the form of request expression, communication flow, and communication strategies which were used by the third grade students of Japanese Language Education Study Program University of Riau by doing roleplay as an instrument. This study used qualitative descriptive method. The data were obtained by using Simak Bebas Libat Cakap Technique and Record Technique. The theories used in this study are the Theory of Request Expressions in Japanese which is in the Minna no Nihongo Shokkyu I and II (1998), the Theory of  Request Expressions in Japanese which was initiated by Kaiser (2000), the Theory of Communication Flow by Shirou (2008), and the Theory of Communication Strategies by Yule (2006). The result of this study indicates 20 data of student’s conversation which contain the form of request expression and communication strategies. The most used form of request expressions are ~te moraemasenka and ~te kudasai. The used communication flow that likely to used is the students say foreword (maeoki) and directly stated reason (riyuu) without express apology (shazai). After that the students add a backup plan (daian). While in communicataion strategy, the most used communication strategy is negative politeness strategy. Keywords : Communication Strategies, Request Expressions, Communication Flow, Roleplay

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to find outthe communication strategies which Japanese learner’s use in face-to-face interactions with native speaker of Japanese. This research also aims to find out how native speaker to respond communication strategies use by the Japanese learner’s. The research objects were fifteen of Japanese education study program students in the sixth semester at University of Riau. This research used qualitative and analytical approach combined with quantitative analysis to count the frequency of communication strategies employed by the students. Research data (visual) were collected by recording the interview by students and native speaker.The latest taxonomy of communication strategies designed by Dörnyei (1995) were used to analyze the data. The result showed that students use three three types of communication strategies, namely achievement strategies, stalling or time-gaining strategies, and topic avoidance strategies. This research could be the basis for futher studies involving more subjects to ensure the generalizability of the results.Key Words: communication strategies, Japanese learner, achievement strategies

Abstract

Abstrak: This study discusses about the Effectiveness of Cooperative Learning Method Type Jigsaw On Material Choukai III For Javanese Deparment Student FKIP UR. The purpose of this study is to know how the result of learning student in class before and after using in cooperative learning method type Jigsaw material of Choukai III, and how the student interaction in class before and after using in learning cooperative method type Jigsaw in Choukai material. The object of this study is the Javanese Deparment Student FKIP UR at grade II. In this study the writer used research design weak eksperimen is designed with pretest before doing the test and posttest after doing the test. Data accumulation technique have been done by giving the test and observing. The result test in this pretest and posttest used statistic test t- by using manual test for knowing some big level of result significance student learning when used learning Jigsaw type. Based on statistic data processing t-by manual test is got = 8 and = 2.1 (standart significance 5%) > so is unaccepted and accepted. It’s means that there is significance contrast to ward effectiveness of coorperatif learning method type Jigsaw on material Choukai III at student grade II in academic 2016/2017 Javanese FKIP Riau University.Key Words: Kooperatif Learning Method Type Jigsaw, Choukai III, Weak Eksperimen

Abstract

Abstract: This research describe the translation technique and method whichapplied on translating Hiroaki Kato’s song lyrics from Indonesia language to Japanlanguage and the translation equivalence of it in 2018. The songs are Jauh di Mata dekatdi Hati, Meraih Bintang dan Bright As The Sun. The theories used in this research are translation technique according to Molina and Albir (2002), translation method according to Newmark (1998) and equivalence translation according to Nida and Taber (1982) .The data were analyzed with qualitative-distibutive method. Data analysisc tehcnique used in this research are literature study method and documentation technique The results of this research show that from 44 translation unit, 3 datas are borrowing, 1 data is description, 1 data is compensation, 4 datas are particularization, 26 datas aremodulation and 9 datas are transpotition. While the orientation of the translation method is the target language and dynamic equivalence as the translation equivalence.Key Words: Translation, Technique, Method, Equivalence
