Abstract

This research aims to describe the kigo index contained in Matsuo Basho's haiku from Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic perspective. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques, namely literature study. The aim of this research is to find out what kigo indexes are in Matsuo Basho's haiku. The results of this research are that there are five haiku that explain kigo which has cause and effect. Kigo is related to natural conditions and seasons so it can be assumed that through kigo the poet's mood can be described. In this research, it is hoped that apart from being able to increase insight into indices, this research can become a reference for further research that wants to discuss kigo in haiku. Especially Matsuo Basho's haiku. Keywords: haiku; index; kigo; Matsuo Basho.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine whether the Smart Japanese application has an effect on increasing the Japanese language vocabulary of class XII students at SMK Negeri 1 Teluk Kuantan. The sample used was 40 students. The research that will be carried out in this research is quantitative research. This research will be carried out with a Pre Test and Post Test Control Group design. The class will be divided into an experimental class and a control class. The experimental class will be given treatment using the Smart Japan application, while the control class will only study as usual. The data used for this study were taken from the scores of the experimental class and the control class. After the data is obtained, the data will be processed using SPSS Version 20 IBM For Windows. For the scores of the experimental class and the control class, a p-value of 0.000 was obtained, which means that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted, or it can be concluded that there was a significant difference in the average score between the experimental class and the control class. From the explanation above, it can be concluded that the learning media for the Smart Japanese application vocabulary has an effect on the mastery of Japanese vocabulary for class XII students at SMK Negeri 1 Teluk Kuantan.Key Words: Influence, Vocabulary, Smart Japanese

Abstract

Abstract: This research was conducted to determine the implementation of song media as learning Japanese vocabulary in hiragana letters for college students in class 2022. The type of research used was qualitative with an analytical descriptive method. Sources of data in this study were taken using purposive sampling by taking 27 college students to participate in learning using song media. The results in this study indicate that song media can be used as an alternative media and variations in the classroom to achieve learning objectives that can help college students to improve new Japanese vocabulary contained in song lyrics in a fun way.Keywords: Cover song, learning , Japanese vocabulary

Abstract

Abstract: This research was conducted to determine the basic level kanji abilities ofthe 2022 class of Japanese Language Education Study Program at Riau University. Thisresearch is qualitative research with analytical descriptive methods. The sample used in thisresearch was 37 people who were students of the class of 2022, Riau University's JapaneseLanguage Education Study Program, taken using total sampling. Abstract

Abstrack: There are 46 hiragana letters fromあ 'a' to ん 'n'. Each letter has certain writing rules called kakijun. Writing hiragana letters according to the rules is very important to produce balanced and readable letters. Errors in writing letters can cause the words written to have a different meaning, or even no meaning at all. This article aims to find out what writing errors there are in Japanese essays by students of the Japanese Language Education Study Program, FKIP, Riau University. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this research were students of the Japanese Language Education Study Program, FKIP, Riau University, class of 2018 and 2019. Research data was obtained from students' written Japanese essays. Research data analysis uses qualitative descriptive analysis methods. The results of the research showed that students of the Japanese Language Education Study Program, FKIP, Riau University made the most errors in writing hiragana letters in the category of errors in writing letters, which were divided into errors in writing dakuon ("), errors in using long sounds (chōon), errors in using yōon ( small ゃ、ゅ、ょ), and errors in the use of sokuon (lower っ); then in the category of mismatches in the form of letters that resemble other letters, the category of errors in selecting letters that are completely different, and in the category of errors in writing hiragana letters that have no shape; letters at all.Keywords: Writing Hiragana Letters, Errors in Writing Letters, Hiragana Letters

Abstract

Abstract: In learning activities, a method is needed to increase student creativity, one of which is the Mind Mapping method.  This research aims to find out how to apply the mind mapping method to increase creativity in sakubun learning in the Nihongo Koutou Happyou 2 course for students in the class of 2021 of the Japanese Language Education Study Program, FKIP, Riau University.  This research was carried out by observing in the field with a total of 25 students.  Data collection is carried out through the results of learning activities by creating a mind map.  The results of the research show that the mind mapping method can increase student creativity in learning sakubun in the nihongo koutou happyou 2 course. Keywords: Mind Mapping, Sakubun , Activities

Abstract

Abstract: The research aims to determine the effect of Kahoot in improvingvocabulary mastery in class X students at Kansai Vocational School,Pekanbaru. This research uses a true experimental method. There are two classesselected, namely the experimental class and the control class. The data collectionmethods applied in this research were providing a pretest, carrying out treatment,providing a posttest, and carrying out data analysis techniques. The results of theresearch show that there is an increase in learning outcomes in the experimentalclass using Kahoot. Kahoot media can improve mastery of Japanese vocabularywhen compared to students who were not given treatment with Kahoot. Apartfrom that, students in the experimental class seemed more enthusiastic and active inlearning Japanese. However, in the control class, students who only usedconventional learning methods seemed less enthusiastic while learning Japanese.Keywords: Media, Kahoot, Vocabulary

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of the SQ3R method on learning to read Japanese text (dokkai). In this study, the researcher conducted a study to find out whether there was a significant difference in the ability to read comprehension of Japanese texts in third-year students before and after using the SQ3R method. The type of research used was pre-experiment with the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design pattern. The sample in this study amounted to 25 students of Japanese Language Education level III Academic Year 2023/2024. The learning materials used for pretest, treatment, and posttest were taken from the book 日本語総まとめN3 読解. The results of the study can be concluded that the SQ3R method is effective as an alternative method of learning to read Japanese texts.Key words: SQ3R Method, Dokkai, Experiments

Abstract

Di era milenial ini podcast cukup populer dan banyak diminati oleh kaum muda mudi, dikarenakan manusia pada saat ini melakukan kegiatan secara multitasking yang membuat manusia cukup sibuk namun ingin mendengarkan siaran sesuai keinginan pada saat yang bersamaan. Adapun pembelajaran choukai (menyimak). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana respon atau sikap mahasiswa angkatan 2020 Pendidikan Bahasa Jepang Universitas Riau terhadap podcast sakura tips. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif dengan instrumen angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa memberikan respon positif dengan nilai rata-rata 4,7 yang dikategorikan sedang. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa podcast sakura tips bisa dijadikan media suplemen pembelajaran choukai.

Abstract

Menurut mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa Jepang Universitas Riau, kanji merupakan mata kuliah yang cukup sulit dipelajari. Rata-rata nilai yang diperoleh mahasiswa Angkatan 2021 rombongan belajar A adalah 55,9. Rata-rata tersebut masih dibawah dari nilai yang diharapkan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan aplikasi Quizlet sebagai media pembelajaran kanji pada mahasiswa Angkatan 2021. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pre-experimental dengan desain One-Group Pretest-Posttest. Sampel penelitiannya adalah mahasiswa Angkatan 2021 rombongan belajar B dengan jumlah mahasiswa 17 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes. Berdasarkan dari paired sample test melalui SPSS Versi 26, hasil sig.(2-tailed) yang diperoleh sebesar 0,000 yang dimana lebih kecil dari 0,005.Dari hasil ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi Quizlet efektif sebagai media pembelajaran kanji pada mahasiswa Angkatan 2021
