Abstract

Bahasa Arab merupakan salah satu bahasa yang banyak dipakai di dunia, bahkan di Indonesia. Selain itu Bahasa Arab juga mulai diminati oleh banyak masyarakat, termasuk masyarakat Ponorogo. Islamic Center “Abdullah Ghanim As-Syamail” Ponorogo merupakan komunitas masyarakat muslim di Kabupaten Ponorogo yang juga menaruh minat pada bahasa Arab. Namun terdapat kendala, salah satunya tidak adanya pengajar yang mampu mengajar bahasa Arab pada komunitas atau jamaah  Islamic Center “Abdullah Ghanim As-Syamail” Ponorogo tersebut. Untuk itulah, Tim dosen dibantu beberapa mahasiswa PBA melaksanakan pengabdian masyarakat berupa pelatihan pembelajaran bahasa Arab intensive bagi jama’ah tersebut. Setelah pelaksanaan pembelajaran, terlihat adanya peningkatan hasil pembelajaran bahasa Arab para jama’ah. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil perbedaan antara hasil pretest dan postest yang cukup signifikan. Selain itu, dari hasil kuisioner terlihat juga bahwa pembelajaran bahasa Arab yang diterapkan bagi jama’ah ini mendapatkan hasil yang memuaskan atau layak dengan tingkat kepuasan 85,4% .

Abstract

This study aimed to describe and analyze in depth about the application of the Arabic language education curriculum which conducted through an intensive course program by the Education and Training Center in University of Darussalam Gontor. This was a field research using qualitative approach. The data were collected by using observation, interviews and documentation. In analyzing the data, it used Miles and Huberman techniques. The results of this study showed that the intensive, effective and efficient training was conducted for trainees from various levels, involved basic, intermediate and high levels. This course used a communicative approach, particularly direct method. The participants lived in a student dormitory with a language habit in the environment for 24 hours. This intensive course aimed to improve receptive language skills including listening and reading, and deductive language skills including writing and speaking. The curriculums of this Education and Training Center consisted of academic and non-academic. Academic curriculum consisted of learning durūs al-lugah al-abiarabiyyah, nahwu and ṣaraf, mahārah kitābah, qirāah, istima ’, and kalām. While the non-academic curriculum was learning vocabulary, watching Arabic films, muhadatsah, singing Arabic songs, speeches, khot, and turats study.

Abstract

Modern Islamic Institution Darussalam Gontor (PMDG) is One of the educational institutions in Indonesia that has been consistent in learning Arabic since its inception due to there are many Arabic works produced by the student community component within the institution. The purpose of this study is to specifically describe the works of non-Arabic Speaker Arabic students and explain the process of collecting and digitizing Arabic corpus data sources made by non-Arabic Speaker Arabic students at Modern Islamic Institution Darussalam Gontor, Ponorogo, East Java. This research employs a field study with a descriptive qualitative analysis approach as a research method. The results reveal that, first, the works of Arabic language students based on the type of data can be categorized into two parts, namely written Arabic works (written products) and spoken Arabic works (Spoken Products). Conventional written data can be read by software and conventional data cannot be read. Second, the process of collecting and digitizing Arabic corpus data by Arabic non-Arabic Speaker students at Modern Islamic Institution Darussalam Gontor was carried out in three stages. The first stage converts the conventional data in the form of handwriting and voice recordings to digital data in *doc format. The second stage is the conversion of digital data in *doc format into plain text (*txt) format. The third stage is to enter data in *txt format into a web-based data processing engine, namely Sketch Engine. Thus, the digital corpus data is ready to be processed into a study based on certain linguistic objectives.

Abstract

After conducting the observation, the researcher found some students' problems in understanding Nahwu lesson, especially for the third grade. It was also found that students' enthusiasm declines in the process of teaching Nahwu in the classroom. Hence, the researcher wanted to provide Teaching solutions using the mind mapping strategy to raise students' enthusiasm and the result of their learning. In this strategy, the researcher did not make any products of mind mapping, but used the mind mapping process as the kind of strategy which had been conducted by the researcher. The aim of this research is to reveal the increase in students' enthusiasm and the result of their learning. The data came from the result of students' enthusiasm in the class and the result of their learning. This research based on the Classroom Action Research using Kemmis and Mc. Taggart model. After applying two cycles of the teaching in the class, doing the observation as well as the reflection which the researcher did the result’s comparison between the first cycle of teaching and the second one, the researcher obtained that the mind map strategy is able to raise students' enthusiasm and the result of their learning. Based on the aforementioned results, the researcher suggested that the mind mapping strategy could be used primarily in the Nahwu lesson.

Abstract

Linguists consider that the study of derivatives is an important subject in the study of Arabic language because it has characteristics that differ from other languages in the world. Arabic language teaching in Indonesia is widespread, this study has not been a top place among Arab students. Starting from this point of views, in this article the researcher would like to contribute the share in this study, especially on the words derivatives in Surat Al-Tarik, it becomes from this point of view, a common derivative study in the hands of Arab students as is commonly known. The researcher used qualitative research in his research, which the type of qualitative desk study is the descriptive method, and the researcher used the method of content analysis to get access to the information. The result of this research is that the derivatives names in this surah are ha>fiz{, da>fiq, qa>dir, na>s}ir, and al-ka>firi>n.

ملخص معهد دار السلام كونتور من أحد المعاهد الإسلامية، مشهورا بتعليم اللغة العربية باستخدام المنهج التعليمي بالعربية والإنجليزية. ومعهد دار السلام كونتور للبنات الحرم الأول يلعب دورا هاما في تعليم اللغة العربية. وتركيز معهد دار السلام كونتور للبنات الحرم الأول إلى التربية اللغوية يجعل الطالبات يتكلمن في المحادثة كلاما صحيحا، إما شفهيا أو تحريريا. وصار معهد دار السلام كونتور للبنات الحرم الأول، مشهورا بتعليم اللغة العربية في إندونيسيا، خاصة في تكوين البيئة اللغوية باللغة العربية والإنجليزية وتستخدم تلك اللغتين آلة الاتصال اليومي اللازمة. وبالعوامل الموجودة تكون تعويدا للطالبات. ولكن طالبات الفصل الأول التكثيفي يختلفن عن ذلك، هنّ يشعرن بالصعوبة في فهم الكلام العربي ونطقه. انطلاقا من ذلك، أن دور وليات الفصول ذو أهمية في ترقية اللغة العربية وحلّ مشكلاتهنّ في مهارة الكلام. الكلمات المفتاحية: مشكلات تعلم مهارة الكلام، محاولات وليات الفصول، كلية المعلمات الإسلامية، معهد دار السلام كونتور للبنات الحرم الأول

Abstract

This study aims to describe the prototype designs of the Corpus of Arabic debates. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) which purpose to produce product prototype designs. The author performs three stages of several stages of the existing method. First the analysis, second the planning, and third the development. The research data is in the form of audio-visual debates from the 'Qatardebate' account and debate technical handbooks. All data were collected in a corpus of website-based debates. The results showed that (a) the design of the debate corpus was carried out in two stages, namely the collection of needs and the design of the debate corpus, (b) to create an appropriate debate delivery structure, it must synthesize debate practices and guidelines applied, and (c) the Arabic debate corpus serves to analyze the use of corcondance and the frequency of words used by debaters.

Abstract

When it comes to mentoring and instructing her students, the homeroom teacher has more duties and responsibilities than other teachers. The teacher's efforts are required to improve the speaking abilities of the Students. This study aims to shed light on the homeroom teacher's efforts to improve the speaking abilities of one intensive student at the Islamic Boarding School of Darussalam Gontor for Girls' first campus during the academic year 2020–2021. Interviews, observation, and written method are used in this qualitative descriptive study to gather the data. As a consequence of this study, the researcher discovered that the homeroom teacher has a significant influence in helping students in class one intensive to improve their speaking abilities. The researcher discovered additional elements that helped female students' speaking abilities, including extracurricular and classroom activities. Additionally, there are obstacles both inside and outside of the students. The pages that follow will provide a thorough explanation. This study will be helpful to the homeroom teacher at Darussalam Gontor for Girls as well as the teacher and headmaster of the school, especially in the Islamic Boarding School, as well as the following researcher.

Abstract

Gerakan feminisme yang lahir dari tuntutan persamaan gender telah merebak ke pelbagai penjuru dunia bahkan tumbuh kembang dan mengarah menjadi mazhab feminis ekstrim yang keluar dari norma-norma kemanusiaan dan agama, dengan meninggalkan kodrat perempuanya sebagai makhluk yang membutuhkan pendamping dan pelindung dari lawan jenisnya yaitu laki-laki. Protes atas tidak kesemenaan kaum pria dipukul rata oleh kelompok ini di berbeagai level kehidupan, baik dalam lingkup interaksi individu atau majemuk seperti keluarga misalnya. Ironisnya penolakan terhadap hegemoni kaum laki-laki terhadap kaum hawa diwujudkan dalam bentuk perilaku menyimpang secara fitah ataupun agama yaitu dengan menyukai sesama perempuan atau yang lebih dikenal dengan dengan istilah lesbian. Komunitas ini berudaha membuktikan bahwa perempuan bisa hidup tanpa laki-laki dalam segala hal, termasuk dalam urusan pemenuhan kebutuhan biologis. Secara tidak langsung, pesan yang ingin di sampaikan bahwa institusi keluarga bisa saja dibangun tanpa harus ada seorang laki-laki, dan bisa diganti dengan dua orang perempuan yang saling mengasihi. Tentu saja gerakan menyimpang ini menimbulkan kritikan tajam terkait penolakan mereka terhadap lembaga keluarga yang diakui dimanapun sebagai pilar utama negara.
