The data collection techniques used were 1) Tests, 2) Observations, 3) Interviews and 4) Documentation. The data analysis used was descriptive analysis, normality test, homogeneity test and Independent-Sample T-Test. The finding result showed that the Sig.2-tailed value is 0.080, which means that the Sig.2-tailed value is 0.080>0.05, then Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected, so the posttest values between experiment and controls group arenot significantly different. And it can be inferred that there was no effectiveness of the application of the word circle jumping game media in teaching Arabic vocabulary in class 6 in academic year 2022/2023. Abstract

This research explores Gontor's initiative to encourage new students from various tribes in Indonesia to integrate Arabic into their daily communication. The problem addressed is the linguistic diversity in Indonesia, which often poses challenges in achieving proficiency in a foreign language like Arabic. This study aims to understand how Gontor's strategies effectively motivate these students to adopt Arabic in their everyday lives. Using a descriptive qualitative research method, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation to analyze the students' progress and experiences. The results indicate that Gontor's approach, including interactive language sessions, cultural immersion activities, and peer support systems, has significantly improved the students' Arabic language skills and confidence in using the language outside the classroom. The impact of this research is substantial, as it highlights the potential for similar programs to enhance language acquisition among diverse student populations. The conclusion is that Gontor's methods effectively promote Arabic language use in daily life, contributing to broader educational and cultural integration within Indonesia. This study provides valuable insights for educators and policymakers aiming to implement successful language learning programs in multilingual settings. Abstract

In case of rapid transformations and global needs, educational curriculum must adapt to these changes. Thus, the Ministry of Religious Affairs issued Decree KMA 183 of 2019, aimed at preparing students to understand Islamic principles and fostering Islamic culture, including the Arabic language. The researcher applied a descriptive content analysis method to investigate the implementation of KMA 183 of 2019 and assess it according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) standards in Arabic language education in Indonesia. This article analyzes the curriculum using the CEFR framework to determine Arabic language learning levels at the elementary level. The study found a positive alignment between the KMA 183 curriculum and CEFR standards, contributing to improved Arabic language education for non-native speakers and enhancing students' linguistic and cultural competencies. The researcher hopes that those responsible for Arabic language learning and teaching in Indonesian elementary schools will take this matter seriously, implementing the KMA 183 curriculum for Arabic education, as it aligns effectively with the established standard.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of 3D First-Person Shooter (FPS) gamification on Arabic learning for Integrated Islamic elementary school (SDIT) students. The primary goal is to assess how this interactive learning medium improves students' Arabic language proficiency and to evaluate the satisfaction levels of both students and teachers. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, the research combines qualitative and quantitative data collection techniques. Pretest-posttest assessments are used to measure students' progress before and after engaging with the gamified media, while questionnaires capture satisfaction and feedback from participants. Results show a significant improvement in students' Arabic vocabulary, with average scores increasing from 74.1 in the pre-test to 89.2 in the post-test. A paired sample t-test confirmed the improvement as statistically significant (p < 0.001). The results of surveys showed high satisfaction levels, with students expressing motivation and enthusiasm for learning and teachers recognizing the game’s relevance and effectiveness in classroom settings. These findings suggest that 3D FPS-based gamification enhances Arabic language learning in Islamic elementary schools. The study recommends further exploration of gamification techniques in Arabic education at various academic levels.
