Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan wawasan dan mengembangkan kemampuan guru dalam menulis proposal Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), melakukan penelitian, dan membuat laporan PTK melalui kegiatan workshop. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah presentasi, tanya jawab, dan penugasan. Peserta kegiatan berjumlah 13 orang guru Madrasah Aliyah SMIP 1946 Banjarmasin. Kegiatan workshop terselenggara secara luring dengan baik dan lancar. Berdasarkan kegiatan yang diselenggarakan diketahui bahwa peserta sangat puas dengan kegiatan ini yang ditandai dengan skor rata-rata kepuasan sebesar 4,53 dengan kategori sangat baik dan guru dapat membuat kerangka proposal PTK dengan baik.  Hasil dari kegiatan ini berguna dalam memperdalam pengetahuan guru dan mengembangkan kompetensinya tentang PTK.  Community service aimed to improve insight and develop the competence of teachers to write a Classroom Action Research proposal, conduct research, and make a Classroom Action Research report through a workshop. The methods used in this service were presentation, question, and assignment. The participants were 13 teachers of Madrasah Aliyah SMIP 1946 Banjarmasin. The workshop went offline well and smoothly. Based on this workshop, participants were satisfied with an average satisfaction of 4.53 with very good category, and they could write the Classroom Action Research proposal outline well. The result of this workshop can deepen teachers' knowledge and develop their competence in Classroom Action Research.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk melatih dan mengembangkan kemampuan mahasiswa calon sarjana dalam menulis skripsi melalui kegiatan workshop. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah ceramah, tanya jawab, dan penugasan. Peserta pengabdian adalah 82 orang mahasiswa. Kegiatan workshop berjalan dengan berhasil dan lancar. Berdasarkan kegiatan yang dilaksanakan menunjukkan peserta sangat puas dengan kegiatan ini yang ditandai dengan skor rata-rata kepuasan sebesar 4,56 dengan kategori sangat baik.  Hasil dari kegiatan ini dapat memotivasi mahasiswa untuk menyelesaikan skripsi serta melatih dan mengembangkan kemampuan mahasiswa menulis skripsi.  Community service aimed to train and develop the competence of undergraduate students to write a thesis through a workshop. The methods used in this service were lectures, questions, and assignments. The service participant were 82 students. The workshop went successful and smoothly. Based on those activities, participants were satisfied with this workshop with an average satisfaction of 4.46 with a very good category. This service can help motivate students to finish their thesis and train and develop their competence to write a thesis.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan dan mengembangkan pendidikan perempuan di Asrama Rakat Mufakat Putri KMHSS (Kerukunan Mahasiswa Hulu Sungai Selatan) melalui program-program pembinaan. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah ceramah, diskusi, dan tanya jawab. Peserta pengabdian adalah seluruh anggota asrama yang berjumlah 17 orang. Kegiatan pemberdayaan pendidikan perempuan berjalan lancar. Berdasarkan kegiatan yang dilaksanakan menunjukkan peserta puas dengan kegiatan ini yang ditandai dengan skor rata-rata kepuasan sebesar 4,02.  Kepuasan peserta pada aspek reliability (keandalan) sebesar 3,70 berkategori baik, aspek assurance (jaminan) sebesar 4,04 berkategori baik, aspek tangibles (tampilan) sebesar 4.20 berkategori baik, aspek emphaty (empati) sebesar 4,33 berkategori sangat baik, dan aspek responsiveness (daya tanggap) sebesar 4,22 berkategori sangat baik. Hasil dari kegiatan ini dapat mendorong peserta untuk mengembangkan kompetensinya.  Community service aims to improve and develop woman education at Asrama Rakat Mufakat Putri KMHSS with coaching programs. The methods used in this service were lectures, discussion, and question. The service participant were all 17 female dormitory members. Women’s education empowerment programs went successful and smoothly. Based on those activities participants were satisfied with this programs with average satisfaction of 4.02. The average satisfaction of participants in reliability aspect was 3.70 (good category); assurance aspect was 4.04 (good category); tangibles aspect was 4.20 (good category); emphaty aspect was 4.33 (very good category); and responsiveness was 4.22 (very good category). The result of this service can encourage participants to develop their competence.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kepraktisan buku ajar listrik magnet Seri 2 bermuatan ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an menggunakan model pembelajaran CORE (Connecting-Organizing-Reflecting-Expanding). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan dengan menggunakan model 4D. Penelitian ini menggunakan mahasiswa calon guru fisika berjumlah 14 orang yang sedang mempelajari topik listrik pada mata kuliah listrik magnet di tahun akademik 2020/2021 sebagai subjek ujicoba. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket respon mahasiswa, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan aktivitas mahasiswa, dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan aktivitas dosen. Analisis data dilakukan secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh buku ajar praktis digunakan karena skor rata-rata indikator kemudahan penggunaan, efisiensi waktu pembelajaran, manfaat buku ajar, dan ketertarikan terhadap buku ajar sebesar 4,00; skor rata-rata keterlaksanaan aktivitas dosen di kelas sebesar 4,52; dan skor rata-rata keterlaksanaan aktivitas mahasiswa di kelas sebesar 3,91. Oleh karena itu, buku ajar yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan pada perkuliahan listrik magnet. Selain itu, buku ajar yang dikembangkan hendaknya diuji pada sampel yang lebih besar. This research aimed to describe Electricity and Magnetism Series 2 textbook practicality that contained Al-Qur’an verses that used CORE (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, dan Extending) learning model. The research was research and development that used a 4D model. The study used 14 prospective teachers who learned electricity topics in the Electricity and Magnetism course of the 2020/2021 academic year as subjects. The data were collected through the students’ responses questionnaire, observation sheet of student activities implementation, and lecturer activities implementation. The analysis data were conducted quantitatively and qualitatively. Based on the result of the research, the textbook practicality was practical because the average score of easy to use, learning time efficiency, benefit, and interest were 4.00, the lecturer activities implementation average score was 4.52, and the student activities implementation average score was 3.91. Therefore, this textbook could be used in Electricity and Magnetism course. Furthermore, this textbook should be tested on a larger sample.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskipsikan kelayakan buku ajar berbasis model pembelajaran CORE dan bermuatan ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an yang dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif dan melatih karakter religius mahasiswa calon guru fisika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan dengan model 4D. Subjek ujicoba penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa calon guru fisika berjumlah 14 orang yang sedang mempelajari topik listrik pada mata kuliah Listrik Magnet di tahun akademik 2020/2021. Data diperoleh melalui lembar validasi, inventori evaluasi diri, lembar observasi, dan soal tes. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku ajar memiliki validitas yang sangat baik dengan nilai rata-rata 89,31%; efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif mahasiswa dengan nilai N-gain sebesar 0,56 dalam kategori medium; dan effect size sebesar 3,09 dalam kategori berpengaruh kuat. Selain itu, buku ajar juga mampu menjadikan mahasiswa memiliki karakter religius dengan sangat baik dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 4,66. Dengan demikian, buku ajar yang dikembangkan layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan melatih karakter religius pada mata kuliah Listrik Magnet.The research aims to describe the feasibility of a developed textbook based on the CORE learning model containing Al-Qur’an verses to improve student cognitive learning outcomes and train prospective physics teachers to do religious behaviour. The research used to research and development with the development model of 4D. The subjects of this research were 14 students of the 2020/2021 academic year who learned electricity topics in the Electricity and Magnetism course. The data were obtained through a validation sheet, self-evaluation inventory sheet, observation sheet, and test. The data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The result of the research showed that textbook validity was very well with an average score of 89.31%, students’ cognitive learning outcomes improved with an N-Gain score of 0.56 in the medium category, and an effect size score of 3.09 in the strong effect category. Then, the textbook made students have religious characters very well, with an average score of 4.66. This research concludes that the textbook could improve cognitive learning outcomes and train religious characters in Electricity and Magnetism course.

Abstract

This research was conducted due to the unavailability of textbook in lecture of Basic Physics 1. The aim of this research was to describe the response of students to basic physics textbook that contained the value of faith and piety and integrated with South Borneo local wisdom in the direct instruction model setting that has been developed. The method of this research was descriptive analytic. The subjects of the try out were 17 first-semester students of the Physics Education Department Faculty of Education and Teacher Training UIN Antasari Banjarmasin who participated in the Basic Physics 1 lecture in the 2018/2019 academic year. Data was obtained through student response questionnaires. Data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results showed that students' response to the content, appearance, and language of textbook were in the good criteria with an average score of 4.31 and 100% of students stated that they were interested in using the textbook. It could be concluded that the basic physics textbook integrated with faith, piety, and local wisdom in direct instruction model setting is feasible to use in the Basic Physics 1 lecture.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini dikarenakan belum tersedia modul yang bermuatan kearifan lokal di sekolah SMA Negeri 1 Juai. Maka dari itu dilakukan penelitian pengembangan modul suhu dan kalor bermuatan kearifan lokal kuliner amuntai dalam setting strategi pembelajaran WODEW di SMA Negeri 1 Juai. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan modul dan mendeskripsikan validitas pengembangan modul suhu dan kalor bermuatan kearifan lokal kuliner amuntai dalam setting strategi pembelajaran WODEW. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan dengan desain ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). Instrumen penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi modul yang terdiri dari lembar validasi tampilan dan lembar validasi isi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) proses pengembangan modul memiliki keterbatasan sehingga hanya tiga langkah yang digunakan untuk terjawabnya tujuan yaitu menggunakan model pengembangan desain analyze, design, develop, (2) validitas modul berdasarkan validitas tampilan dan isi menunjukkan nilai sign 0,000 < 0,05 maka modul dinyatakan valid. Disimpulkan bahwa modul fisika bermuatan kearifan lokal kuliner amuntai dalam setting strategi pembelajaran WODEW layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the validity and effectiveness of BioPhy Magazine based on local wisdom, which was developed to improve problem-solving skills and encourage students to conduct environmental awareness campaigns. This type of research was development research with the Tessmer formative evaluation model. The small group trial subjects are Chemistry Tadris students who are taking Basic Physics courses in the 2021/2022 academic year. Data were obtained through validation sheets, problem-solving tests, and poster assessment sheets. The data were then analyzed using the Aiken formula, N-gain, effect size, and Wilcoxon test. The results of the analysis showed that the developed magazine was valid from the aspect of content, presentation, and language. Magazines were also effective in improving problem-solving skills, with an N-gain score on the small group test of 0.90 with a high category and an effect size of 3.34 with a strong influence category. In addition, based on the Wilcoxon test, it was known that Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.005, which meant that there was a significant difference in problem-solving ability between before and after learning. In addition, magazines could encourage students to carry out environmental awareness campaigns as indicated by the average student environmental poster score of 95.38. So, BioPhy Magazine was valid, effective, and successful in encouraging students to carry out environmental awareness campaigns

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kelayakan bahan ajar gerak harmonik sederhana berbasis etnosains tradisi baayun maulid. Tujuan penelitian ini secara khusus adalah mendeskripsikan: (1) desain bahan ajar dan (2) validitas bahan ajar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan. Lokasi penelitian ini di SMA Negeri Bumi Makmur pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2020/2021 dengan jumlah sampel 2 validator. Penelitian ini menggunakan model 4-D namun hanya terdiri atas tiga tahap, yaitu pendefinisian (define), perancangan (design), dan pengembangan (develop). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa (1) desain bahan ajar memuat kearifan lokal Kalimantan Selatan, yaitu tradisi baayun maulid yang diintegrasikan dengan materi gerak harmonik sederhana dan (2) validitas bahan ajar memperoleh nilai persentase 85% dengan kategori sangat valid. Dengan demikian, bahan ajar gerak harmonik sederhana berbasis etnosains tradisi baayun maulid sangat layak digunakan sebagai sumber pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the validity and effectiveness of the floating market-based BioPhy magazine to improve problem-solving skills and encourage students to conduct environmental awareness campaigns. This research was development research with Tessmer formative evaluation model. The field test subjects were 24 students who studied fluids in the Fundamental Physics Course in the 2021/2022 academic year. Data were obtained through validation sheets and problem-solving questions. Data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results showed that the developed magazine was valid and effective in improving students' problem-solving skills with an N-gain score in the field trial of 0.96 with a high category and an effect size of 12.61 with a strong influence category. In addition, based on the different tests, it was known that there is a significant difference between problem-solving abilities before and after learning. The magazine also succeeded in encouraging students to campaign on environmental awareness, as shown in the environmental-themed posters they made and shared on social media. Thus, the developed magazine was valid and effective to improve problem-solving skills and encourage environmental awareness campaigns on fluids in the Fundamental Physics Course.
