Abstract

This study looks at the idea of love for Allah as explained by Zufikar Ahmad Naqshabandi. The researcher will try to explain the ideas of Mahabbah Zulfikar Ahmad Naqshabandi and what love for Allah looks like in practice. In Paya Pasir Village, Medan Marelan District, Ta'aruf Marriage is used by researchers as an illustration of how love for God is shown. Ta'aruf is designed to help people get to know each other's personality, background, social, culture, education, family, and religion. This type of research is qualitative, which uses a series of sentences to describe the data. Descriptive method used in this research.The findings of this study suggest that Zulfikar Ahmad Naqshbandi's definition of love for Allah Swt. is correct: deep love for Allah Swt. is a proof of flawless faith. This love endures through the ages, undeterred by how life's circumstances change constantly. Marriage in Ta'aruf is a sign of being a lover of Allah SWT with an approach to love for Him. By abstaining from the forbidden and following His instructions. Then offer what has been predetermined to Allah Swt.

Abstract

Intellectual intelligence is one of the main factors in society in building household harmony.  The community in Tegal Sari III Subdistrict, Medan Area District, shows that the intellectual intelligence factors for household harmony are inseparable from the existence of faith in each partner so that the better the relationship with Allah SWT, the calmer and more confident in dealing with existing problems, understanding each other.  partners, helping each other in economic matters, making commitments made with partners, for example, loyalty, honesty, and openness, and sincerity to accept the weaknesses and strengths of their partners. After conducting research, this research focuses on Intellectual Intelligence on Household Harmony in Tegal Sari III Village, Medan Area District.  Intellectual intelligence becomes quite an interesting conversation, especially with regard to household harmony.  A harmonious household is everyone's dream, but creating a harmonious household is not an easy thing, because it requires intellectual intelligence.  Intellectual abilities are also based on a person's capability to act purposefully, think meaningfully, and be able to interact efficiently with their environment.  So that intellectual intelligence becomes one of the important roles for household harmony.  The method used in this study is the method of observation, documentation and interviews.  Research data were analyzed using descriptive analysis method.  which includes: data collection, data filtering, data classification drawing conclusions.

Abstract

The position of philosophy in Islam sees the ebb and flow of praise and criticism it is necessary to discuss it. Harmonization of philosophical and Islamic themes, harmonization of experience in long discussions. Some scholars argue that Islam and philosophy are completely different and that Islam and philosophy have areas that cannot be combined. But few try to harmonize and synthesize the two, starting with Al-Kind, continuing with AlFarab and ending with Ibn Sina and Ibn Rushd. Al-Kindi believed that the goal of philosophy was to discover the true nature of things through causal explanations. Al-Kindi brought religion (Islam) with philosophy, arguing that philosophy is the science of truth and religion is also the science of truth. At the same time, Al-Farab succeeded in reconciling classical Greek political philosophy with Islam, which was understood in the context of revealed religions. Avicenna argued that God created the world through emanations. Based on the opinions of these philosophers, this study explains that philosophy and religion (Islam) as part of science have a close and harmonious relationship with one another.

Abstract

Powered hauling equipment is one of the most critical operational elements in the mining sector. Haulage is a significant hazard for the mining industry, accounting for over half of all mining-related fatal accidents yearly. Identifying safety risk variables is the foundation of risk assessment and accident prevention. This study aimed to identify risk variables and prevention techniques to reduce occurrences among truck drivers in coal mining. This research approach is a scoping review with the PRISMA Extension for Scoping Reviews (PRISMA-ScR). Thirty-five articles were reviewed based on the results of inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data analysis was performed using content analysis. The results show that human, environmental, machine and organizational factors contribute to the risk among truck drivers in coal mining. Safety culture, staffing and scheduling, training and education, policy and procedure implementation, and technology deployment are all part of the accident prevention plan. The central government should pay particular attention to the employment conditions of workers in cities with decreased resources and develop policies to prevent mining-related diseases in local communities.

Abstract

Hedonisme adalah suatu paham yang menganggap bahwa tujuan utama dari kehidupan adalah meraih kesenangan sebanyak-banyaknya dan berusaha menghindari dari perasaan-perasaan menyakitkan. Sedangkan generasi z adalah generasi yang disebut sebagai generasi internet yang tidak dapat dipisahkan dengan media sosial. Pembahasan ini akan diteliti dengan metode analisis studi pustaka, serta analisis data deskriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif (library research) yakni studi kepustakaan. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan penulis mendapatkan pemahaman bahwasanya hedonisme memiliki kaitan yang erat dengan generasi z. Sebab, generasi z yang kesehariannya menggunakan media sosial sering menjadi target dari paham hedonisme. Bagaimana tidak, segala aspek penunjang seseorang untuk terikut paham hedonisme ditunjang dan didukung oleh perkembangan teknologi khususnya media sosial. Maka berdasarkan telaah QS. Al-Hadid ayat 20 paham ini tidaklah sesuai dengan ajaran Islam, sebab paham ini berpendapat bahwa tujuan utama kehidupan hanya berorientasi pada kesenangan dunia semata hingga seakan melupakan bahwasanya masih ada kehidupan akhirat setelah kehidupan dunia, yakni tempat mempertanggungjawabkan segala aktivitas yang telah dilakukan selama hidup di dunia. Dunia ini hendaknya dijadikan ladang amal bagi manusia untuk kehidupan akhirat bukan malah menikmati dan tertipu dengan berbagai kesenangan yang hanya bersifat sementara.

Abstract

Introduction: Economic needs make bus drivers pay less attention to safety and health factors while driving. Inter-City Inter-Province Bus (AKAP) as a mode of mass transportation must meet Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) requirements in various aspects. In addition to maintaining the health and safety of all bus passengers and crew, the application of OHS serves to maintain the reliability of the transportation system. This study aims related disease at risk with bus drivers is Low Back Pain because of long time sitting position with non-ergonomic seat also little opportunity to move or relax during the trip. The aim is to increase knowledge about techniques to reduce LBP for bus drivers. This activity is a socializing technique to minimize low back pain (LBP). Method: Qualitative descriptive research methods, data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. Results: This activity was carried out with the stage that is for socialization. Conclusion: For the implementation of OHS program for AKAP passenger buses, it has been carried out with applicable standards, but for facilities and infrastructure in the vehicle, it must be completed on all vehicles that are eligible to operate according to AKAP passenger bus standard.

Abstract

Consumerism is an ideology that makes a person or group carry out consumption activities or use goods produced excessively, unconsciously and continuously. Instilling religious values, AFI FUSI UIN-SU students are also instilled with a wise mindset through Islamic philosophy courses as a compulsory subject. This research is a qualitative research type of field study using a philosophical approach. This study aims to identify matters concerning the consumer behavior level of AFI students towards the Shopee Application and the impact of the shopee application on the consumerism behavior of AFI students. The results of this study show that the consumerism behavior of AFI students towards the shopee application has been proven true and is endemic to AFI students to date, The impact of consumer behavior on the shopee application is divided into two, namely positive and negative.

Abstract

This research aims to find out what the educational process of Sheikh Musthafa Husein was like during childhood and adulthood. Then this research also aims to find out the traces of the theological education of Sheikh Musthafa Husein at the Purba Baru Musthafawiyah Islamic Boarding School. The method used by researchers in this research is a qualitative research method with a character study type. In the results of this research, it was found that Sheik Musthafa Husein, whose childhood name was Muhammad Yatim, was born in 1886 AD/1303 H. in the village of Tano Bato. After the congregational morning prayer at the mosque, he remained in the mosque until the time for the dhuha circumcision prayer, then returned home to have breakfast with his family. After breakfast, go to Maktab/Madrasah until near noon time. After midday prayers in congregation at the mosque, he returned home to have lunch with his family, then went to the garden with his students until Asr time approached. After the Asr prayer in congregation at the mosque, we returned home to gather with our family while sitting around and playing with the children in the yard until just before Maghrib time. Just before Maghrib's time, he went to the mosque along with several of his students. Some of the students brought lamps, and some also brought books that would be studied after completing the Maghrib prayer. The students sat in a circle, and the teacher (Syekh Musthafa Husein) sat in the middle on a bench/chair. This recitation takes place only between Maghrib and Isha every day. After finishing the Isha prayer in the congregation, he returned home with his students. At night, he always read the Koran until late, and at midnight, he always prayed the Tahajjuj prayer. When this Islamic boarding school was founded by Sheikh Musthafa Husein, he determined the lessons and knowledge taught by himself. This established curriculum refers to his educational experience while studying in Mecca (1900-1912). He once said that at the Musthafawiyah Islamic Boarding School Student Conference in 1952 in Purbabaru, which was attended by thousands of his students and the surrounding community, he said: O my children, I need to convey on this occasion that the lessons and knowledge that I provide are the same. With what I learned while studying Islam in Mecca, for this reason I ask that the Islamic knowledge that I have given be passed on to all my children. The Islamic education system built by Sheikh Musthafa Husein since its founding is classical, namely with a tiered model, namely grades one to seven. This level of education is different from the current education system, which only lasts three years at the Tsanawiyah level and three years at the Aliyah level.

Abstract

Dalam era globalisasi dan modrenisasi, isu-isu terkait pakaian dan identitas diri menjadi topik yang semakin penting dalam konteks sosial dan agama. Salah satu aspek yang mendapat perhatian khusus dalam kajian ini adalah hijab style, khususnya dalam persfektif pemikiran ulama kontemporer seperti Wahbah Az-Zuhaili. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pandangan Wahbah Az-Zuhaili mengenai hijab dan bagaimana pandangan tersebut dipahami dan diterapkan oleh mahasiswi Fakultas Ushuluddin dan Studi Islam (FUSI) UIN Sumatera Utara Medan. Kajian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan analisis secara deskriptif, dimana data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswi FUSI UINSU Medan memahami hijab sebagai kewajiban syar’i, sesuai dengan pandangan Wahbah Az-Zuhaili yang menekankan kesopanan dan kepatuhan pada syariat Islam. Namun dalam implementasinya, terdapat variasi dalam mempraktikkan hijab yang dipengaruhi oleh tren mode, lingkungan sosial, pengalaman, serta pemahaman personal terhadap ajaran agama. Penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya memahami konsep hijab secara mendalam agar mahasiswi mampu menyeimbangkan antara kewajiban agama dan ekspresi mode.

Abstract

The rise of religious-based organizations, especially Islam after the 1998 reformation, led to a contestation between radical and moderate (wasathiyyah) streams. Organizations within the wasathiyyah group also experienced conflict. This study is an exploration of the wasathiyyah political movement carried out by Nahdlatul Ulama and Muhammadiyah in North Sumatra to explore the ontology of the wasathiyyah political movement of the organization, the construction of the movement, and the practice of the wasathiyyah political movement of NU and Muhammadiyah. This comparative qualitative study found that 1) Muhammadiyah's Wasathiyyah is based on the thoughts of KH. Ahmad Dahlan in 7 philosophies of life which are summarized into the nature of religion, renewal-purification (tajdid), education, and social charity, the theological basis of Al-Ma'un and openness is central to the Muhammadiyah's approach, while Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) adopts the term Ahlussunnah Wal Jamaah, characterized by tawasut}, I'tidal, tawa>zzun, and tasa>muh. The construction of NU's wasathiyyah political movement is rooted in moral and value-based principles, focusing on cultural politics and actively influencing electoral processes through non-formal organizational channels. On the other hand, Muhammadiyah places emphasis on cultural politics, modernizing education, health, and social work, alongside charitable efforts and tajdid to purify Islamic teachings in line with the Qur'an and Sunnah. In the context of North Sumatra, NU's wasathiyyah political movement actively engages in electoral politics and strives to enhance religious understanding internally and externally through educational and religious activities, while maintaining religious traditions based on the teachings of Islam Ahlussunnah wal Jamaah. Conversely, Muhammadiyah prioritizes the renewal and purification of Islamic teachings, with a focus on education, health, and charitable efforts for its members and externally.
