Abstract

This study aims to: 1) analyze the structure of the novel Dirawu Kélong by Ahmad Bakri; 2) analyze the educational value of Ahmad Bakri's Dirawu Kélong novel; 3) as well as for learning materials for reading novels in class IX SMP. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive analysis method. The technique of collecting data using the literature study technique and the data source is the novel Dirawu Kélong by Ahmad Bakri. The results of this study are: 1) this novel is themed about the daily life of Udin, the lines used are mixed lines, and the 18 characters involved. The mandate contained in it is to advise about life so that you can think long, respect all God's creatures, and be obedient to your parents; 2) Analysis of educational values ​​in the Dirawu Kélong novel includes character education values, namely religious, honest, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democratic, curiosity, national spirit, love peace, love to read, care for the environment, responsibility; 3) the novel Dirawu Kélong deserves to be used as a learning material for reading novels in grade IX SMP because it covers aspects of language, psychology, and cultural background..

Abstract

Sundanese pupujian (praise) material is a part of Sundanese language subjects in junior high school grade VII. Sundanese praise is an oral literature that must be preserved. In Sundanese praise there are educational values that can be used as guidelines for behavior. This study aim to describe the effect of interactive multimedia-based learning media in understanding Sundanese praise by using experimental study. Experimental desain used in this study is pretest-posttest one sample group design. This research was done in grade VII students in the junior high school 2 Kramatmulya. The results showed that using interactive multimediasignificantly could increased student’s understanding of Sundanese praise. T-test was conducted on the pretest and posttest data of the study. From the test results it is known that the Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.001. This means Sig (2-tailed) 0.05. It can be concluded that there are differences in the mean scores of students before and after learning by using Sundanese Pupujian learning media based on interactive multimedia.

Abstract

Semiotics in Cibingbin District, Kuningan Regency, Regional Language and Literature Education Study Program, 2021.59 pages. This research was carried out because considering the activities of the traditional gusaran tradition that hindered its extinction, as well as the large number of young people who had not preserved the traditional gusaran tradition. This study aims to describe the implementation of the gusaran traditional tradition, as well as the semiotic analysis that exists in the gusaran traditional tradition in Cibingbin District, Kuningan Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive. Data collection techniques used in this research are interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the research are 1) the implementation of the traditional gusaran tradition in Cibingbin District, Kuningan Regency, which is divided into 3 parts (a) preparation: preparing offerings, worshiping (b) Core activities: bathing children, making up children, praying, brushing teeth, feeding children, member jewelery (c) closing: preparing sawer, sawer, prayer. The semiotics in the gusaran tradition are: 1 icon, namely (miserly), 4 indices (the smell of offerings smoke, the aroma of coffee water, the taste of coffee water, praying), 13 symbols (coins, wenghal, huntingu, fried chicken, yellow rice, coffee). bitter, sweet coffee, egg, umbrella, rice, turmeric, thread, food container). .

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the problems of learning Sundanese in linguistic and non-linguistic dimensions. The method used is a descriptive method with a qualitative research type. Sources of data in this study were the deputy head of curriculum, Sundanese language teachers, and class X students. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The instruments used were stationery, interview guides, cell phones, and questionnaires. Data analysis using content analysis. The results of this study are 1) Problems of learning Sundanese language linguistic dimensions phonological errors in 72 cases with a percentage of 53.33%, syntactic errors in 75 cases with a percentage of 55.5%, syntactic errors in 80 cases with a percentage of 59.2, lexical errors -Semantic 20 cases with a percentage of 15%.; 2) The problems of learning Sundanese in the non-linguistic dimension have several obstacles in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum, the teacher's learning model is still monotonous, the teacher's understanding of IT is still lacking, the learning media is still limited, and there is still a lack of student interest and motivation in learning languages. AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui problematika pembelajaran bahasa Sunda dimensi linguistik dan nonlinguistik. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian yaitu wakil kepala sekolah bagian kurikulum, guru bahasa Sunda, dan siswa kelas X. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu alat tulis, pedoman wawancara, handphone, dan angket. Analisis data menggunakan analisis isi. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu: 1) Problematika pembelajaran bahasa Sunda dimensi linguistik terdiri dari kesalahan fonologi sebanyak 72 kasus dengan persentase 53,33%, kesalahan morfologi sebanyak 75 kasus dengan persentase 55,5%, kesalahan sintaksis 80 kasus dengan persentase 59,2%, dan kesalahan leksiko-semantis 20 kasus dengan persentase 15%; 2) Problematika pembelajaran bahasa Sunda dimensi nonlinguistik terdapat beberapa kendala dalam penerapan kurikulum 2013, model pembelajaran guru yang masih monoton, pemahaman guru terhadap IT masih kurang, media pembelajaran masih terbatas, dan masih kurangnya minat dan motivasi siswa dalam belajar kebahasaan.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are: 1) to describe the results of writing personal experiences before using YouTube learning media at SMP Negeri 1 Cibingbin class VII; 2) to describe the results of writing personal experiences after using YouTube learning media at SMP Negeri 1 Cibingbin class VII; 3) to describe the influence of YouTube learning media on writing personal experiences of students at SMP Negeri 1 Cibingbin class VII. This research is quantitative research. This research uses a quantitative approach to experimental research with a Pretest-Posttest one group design. The instruments in this research are pretest and posttest essay questions. Data analysis techniques use expert validation tests, normality tests, homogeneity tests and independent t-tests. The results of this research are: 1) student learning outcomes before using YouTube learning media are still far from the KKM (Minimum Provision Criteria) with an average score of 51.32; 2) student learning outcomes after using YouTube learning media have increased in accordance with the KKM (Minimum Adequacy Criteria) with an average score of 77.79; 3) the influence of YouTube learning media on the results of writing personal experiences at SMP Negeri 1 Cibingbin Class VII based on the paired sample t-test, Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected because the sig.(2-tailed) value was 0.000<0.05. So, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between student learning outcomes before and after using YouTube learning media on the results of writing personal experiences.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the implementation of character formation, the role of the school environment in the formation, and the efforts made by teachers and principals in the formation of the character of SDN Tanjung Pura, Tasikmalaya Regency. This study uses a qualitative method using 13 research subjects. Data analysis is carried out by the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Research results were obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. Observations were carried out by making direct observations at the research location regarding character formation through the school environment of lower class students at SD Negeri Tanjung Pura. The implementation of character education at SDN Tanjung Pura includes routine activities such as Dhuha prayers, reciting the Yasin Koran, and mutual cooperation. Spontaneous activities such as reprimands and non-physical punishment are also carried out to increase students' vigilance. School principals play a role in creating policies and facilities that support character education and become role models in discipline. Apart from teaching, teachers guide students in carrying out worship and instill discipline through example and direct guidance. A good school environment also supports the process of forming student character

Abstract

The “Pengantén” novel by Deden Abdul Aziz is a novel whose story content is about the reality of teenage life. The purpose of this study is to describe the structure and style of language in the novel “Pengantén” by Deden Abdul Aziz. This research method uses descriptive qualitative. The data source used in this research is data that comes from a paper, namely the novel Pangantén by Deden Abdul Aziz in the 1st printing of 2000, published by Kiblat Pustaka Utama. The data collection technique uses a literature study with data card instruments. Structural analysis in the novel Pangantén Deden Abdul Aziz uses Nurgiyantoro's analysis. The results of this research are: 1) the theme of this novel is the family theme, the plot is advanced, the point of view is first person, there are 5 settings, the characters consist of 5 people, and the mandate is teaching them to protect themselves from the surrounding environment; 2) There are 30 figurative languages, namely 16 hyperboles, 5 metaphors, 1 personification, 4 allegories, 3 synecdoches, and 1 metronomic. Keywords : Language, novel, style, structure.   Abstrak Novel “Pengantén” karya Deden Abdul Aziz merupakan novel yang isi ceritanya sesuai dengan realitas kehidupan remaja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan struktur dan gaya bahasa yang ada pada novel “Pengantén” karya Deden Abdul Aziz. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data yang digunakan  dalam  penelitian  ini  adalah  data yang  berasal  dari  kertas/dokumen (paper) yaitu novel Pangantén karya Deden Abdul Aziz cetakan ke-1 tahun 2000, diterbitkan oleh Kiblat Pustaka Utama. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan studi pustaka dengan instrumen kartu data. Analisis struktur dalam novel Pangantén Deden Abdul Aziz menggunakan analisis Nurgiyantoro. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu: 1) tema novel ini adalah tema keluarga, alur ceritanya maju, sudut pandang orang pertama, terdapat 5 latar tempat, tokohnya terdiri dari 5 orang, dan amanatnya mengajarkan agar menjaga diri dari lingkungan sekitar; 2) Gaya bahasa ada 30 yakni 16 hiperbola, 5 metafora, 1 personifikasi, 4 alegori, 3 sinekdok, dan 1 metonomia.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine student’s ability to write short stories using pictures media. The method used in this research is an experiment with a quantitative approach and a one-group pretest-posttest design. The instruments used are pretest and posttest. The data analysis techniques employed are validity tests, normality tests, and paired sample t-tests. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Kuningan with a sample of 30 students from class XI-3. The result of this research are: 1) students’ ability to write short stories before using picture media was still far from the Minimum Mastery Criteria (MMC) with an average score of 72,16; 2)students’ ability to write short stories after using picture media improved with an average score of 85,83; 3) based on the t-test (paired sample t-test ), the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, and the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected because the significance value (2-tailed) is 0.000 < 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of picture media has a significant effect on students’ writing ability in short story lessons in class XI at SMA Negeri 1 Kuningan. Thus, it is also recommended for teachers to apply this method in their teaching.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh media pembelajaran YouTube terhadap hasil menyimak paguneman. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen dan one group pretest posttest design. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah soal pretest dan posttets. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji validitas, uji normalitas, dan uji t sampel berpasangan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di MTs Nurul Falah Durajaya dengan sampel 30 siswa kelas VII A. Hasilnya: 1) hasil belajar siswa dalam menyimak paguneman sebelum menggunakan media pembelajaran YouTube masih jauh dari KKM (Kriteria Ketentuan Minimal) dengan nilai rata-rata 49,33; 2) hasil belajar siswa dalam menyimak paguneman setelah menggunakan media pembelajaran YouTube mengalami peningkatan sesuai dengan KKM (Kriteria Kecukupan Minimal) dengan nilai rata-rata 76,67; 3) adanya pengaruh media pembelajaran YouTube terhadap hasil menyimak paguneman di MTs Nurul Falah Durajaya Kelas VII. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media pembelajaran YouTube terhadap hasil menyimak paguneman.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran aplikasi Canva terhadap kemampuan menulis aksara Sunda pada siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Ciawigebang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan menggunakan single-group pretest-posttest design. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMAN 1 Ciawigebang dengan menggunakan sampel kelas X-i. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini yaitu soal-soal objektif tertulis dalam bentuk dua soal esai. Hasilnya adalah: 1) Hasil belajar siswa berupa kemampuan menulis aksara Sunda sebelum menggunakan media pembelajaran aplikasi Canva masih jauh dari nilai KKM; 2) Hasil belajar siswa pada kemampuan menulis aksara Sunda setelah menggunakan aplikasi Canva meningkat dari nilai rata-rata 58,47 menjadi 81,25; 3) Berdasarkan uji hipotesis, Sig. (2-tailed) 0,000 ; 0,05. Oleh karena itu Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Pengaruh media pembelajaran aplikasi Canva terhadap kemampuan menulis aksara Sunda terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan, antara hasil belajar menulis aksara Sunda siswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media pembelajaran tersebut.
