Abstract

Career readiness of high school students is an important aspect that needs attention, especially because they are in the transition period to higher education or the world of work. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Super Life Span theory in supporting high school students' career readiness through a literature review approach. Super Life Span theory offers a comprehensive framework for understanding individual career development throughout life, with a focus on self-concept and stages of exploration. This review collects and analyzes the results of various studies related to the application of Super theory in career guidance services. The results of the analysis show that the implementation of Super Life Span theory is effective in helping students recognize their potential, interests, and personal values. Career guidance services based on this theory are also proven to support more mature and purposeful career decision-making through a structured service program, including personality assessment, career information provision, and individual needs-based planning. In addition, Super theory shows flexibility in being applied to modern career contexts, such as creative and technology-based industries. The conclusion of this study confirms that Super Life Span theory is a relevant and effective approach to enhance high school students' career readiness. The theory not only helps students understand their career development but also provides a practical framework for counselors in designing more adaptive and strategic career guidance services.

Abstract

Method Which used in study This is analysis quantitative with approach descriptive, where data is collected through questionnaire Which designed to inhabitant built. Data analysis techniques used in study This is analysis regression simple processed​ using SPSS version 25. Population in study This is convict narcotics totaling 855 people and a sample of 58 people. The results of the study This that is based on the t-test obtained mark t count 8.252 > t table 2.003 and the value significance 0.000 < 0.05 and so can concluded that there is influence significant positive​ between Islamic religious guidance in increase control self inhabitant foster narcotics. Based on coefficient test results determination shows an R square of of 0.482 or 48.2%. This proves that the influence of Islamic religious guidance on self-control with a coefficient interval of 0.40-0.599 is included in the moderate category. While the remaining 51.8% is explained by other factors or variables that are not included in this research model.

Abstract

Multicultural education continues to develop around the world, including Indonesia. This study describes multikultural education from various perspectives, including an overview of multicultural education publications; trends; countries; researchers; and future hotspots for multicultural education, both internationally and in Indonesia. This study is a qualitative research using bibliometric analysis following the framework developed by (Garza-Reyes), with the data for this document analysis sourced from Scopus using three search criteria. The findings reveal that interest in this topic is increasing, particularly with the significant number of studies published in 2024, reaching a peak of 196 publications. Many countries and authors have contributed to research on multicultural issues. Therefore, the challenges and opportunities in multicultural education require a holistic approach, involving collaboration between parents, teachers, and educational policies to create a fair and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Abstract

The era of globalization and digitalization has brought significant changes to guidance and counseling services, both in terms of challenges and opportunities. This study aims to analyze various challenges faced by guidance and counseling professionals amid technological transformation and socio-cultural changes. The method used is a descriptive literature review of recent national and international articles. The analysis shows that the main challenges include adaptation to new technologies, the digital divide, ethical and privacy issues, as well as the need for the development of multicultural competence and digital literacy for counselors. On the other hand, digitalization also opens up opportunities to expand service access, increase efficiency, and develop innovative interventions that are more responsive to client needs. This study recommends the need for continuous training, strengthening data protection policies, and cross-disciplinary collaboration to improve the quality of guidance and counseling services in the era of globalization and digitalization.

Abstract

The exposure of pornography among adolescents is increasingly worrying because it has a negative impact on psychological, social, academic, and moral aspects. This study aims to test the effectiveness of Cognitive Behavior Modification (CBM)-based group counseling services using cognitive restructuring techniques in preventing exposure to pornography among students. The method used was a quasi-experiment with a non-equivalent control group design. The research subjects were 17 students from Senior High Schools in Sarolangun , selected via cluster random sampling: 9 in the experimental group and 8 in the control group. The research instrument contained 34 valid and reliable items that measured sound, reading, images, and actions. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test and the Mann-Whitney U Test. The results showed that the experimental group experienced a significant decrease in pornography exposure scores from high to low, with an N-Gain of 34.8. In contrast, the control group only had an N-Gain of 15.5. The Mann-Whitney U test resulted in p = 0.048 (< 0.05). These findings confirm that CBM is effective as a preventive strategy and can be implemented by guidance and counseling teachers to help students deal with the challenges of pornography exposure. Abstract

Di abad 21 sangatlah penting sekali sebagai seorang konselor untuk membuat suatu program layanan bimbingan karier. Agar pelaksanaan layanan bibingan karier berjalan optimal, terencana, dan efektif dan efisien. Dan para siswa dapat menentukan karier mereka dengan tepat dan sesuai dengan bakat, minat, Dan kemampuan mereka. Inilah urgensinya suatu program, dengan adanya program layanan bimbingan karier maka konselor dapat membantu siswa merencanakan pemilihan karier yang tepat untuk siswa nantinya, disinilah peranan strategis sebagai seorang konselor. Dengan konteks ini bimbingan karir merupakan program yang memfasilitasi peserta didik untuk menentukan pilihan mereka nanti.

Abstract

Hubungan minat terhadap jurusan merupakan faktor penting yang mempengaruhi perencanaan karir siswa sekolah menenggah kejuruan. Saat ini banyak dijumpai pelajar yang berpindah jurusan karena mengikuti teman-temannya dalam memilih jurusan. Sehingga siswa kebingungan dalam merencanakan karirnya. Perencanaan karier merupakan suatu proses yang kompleks yang melibatkan berbagai faktor, termasuk minat terhadap jurusan. Minat terhadap jurusan merupakan ketertarikan seseorang terhadap suatu bidang studi atau pekerjaan tertentu. Kepercayaan diri merupakan keyakinan seseorang terhadap kemampuannya untuk mencapai tujuannya. Faktor yang mempengaruhi perencanaan karir siswa yaitu faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Dengan terus dilakukannya usaha peningkatan kualitas SMK melalui gerakan revitalisasi di seluruh Indonesia, maka faktor penentu yang mempunyai peranan lebih besar adalah faktor internal yang berasal dari diri siswa itu sendiri. Minat terhadap jurusan merupakan salah satu faktor internal dalam diri siswa yang dipandang memiliki hubungan kuat dengan peningkatan kemampuan perencanaan karir siswa. Minat terhadap jurusan merupakan hal yang sangat penting bagi masa depan siswa untuk itu pemilihan jurusan harus dilakukan dengan hati-hati, sehingga tidak terjadi salah pilih jurusan. Kecenderungan yang terjadi saat ini, banyak siswa tidak berminat terhadap jurusan dan dapat menimbulkan hal-hal buruk setelah tamat. Akibat yang buruk terjadi setelah itu, yaitu keengganan belajar dan menurutnya kualitas serta prestasi akademik karena siswa merasa salah dalam memilih jurusan.

Abstract

Pengambilan keputusan karir merupakan proses penting dalam perkembangan pribadi setiap individu, terutama siswa SMA yang sedang menghadapi tantangan untuk memilih jalur pendidikan dan karir yang sesuai. Salah satu pendekatan yang digunakan untuk membantu siswa dalam pengambilan keputusan karir adalah teori Trait and Factor. Teori ini menekankan pada identifikasi karakteristik pribadi (trait) individu dan faktor-faktor yang relevan dalam proses pengambilan keputusan karir. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengulas aplikasi teori Trait and Factor dalam konteks siswa SMA, dengan fokus pada proses identifikasi trait individu melalui tes minat dan kemampuan, serta penerapan faktor-faktor seperti informasi karir, kebutuhan pekerjaan, dan nilai-nilai pribadi. Diskusi juga melibatkan strategi pendekatan yang dapat membantu siswa mengintegrasikan informasi yang diperoleh dari teori ini dalam pengambilan keputusan karir mereka. Penekanan pada pentingnya dukungan dan bimbingan dari guru bimbingan dan konselor sekolah juga disorot sebagai faktor penentu dalam keberhasilan implementasi teori ini. Artikel ini menyimpulkan dengan menggarisbawahi relevansi teori Trait and Factor dalam mendukung siswa SMA dalam mengeksplorasi dan memilih jalur karir yang sesuai dengan potensi dan minat mereka.
