Abstract

West Sigodang Nagori, Panei District, Simalungun Regency, is a nagori whose main livelihood is agriculture. Planting is done on mering land. The existing dry land is planted with food crops such as upland rice and corn, various vegetable crops, plantation crops including coffee, oranges, cocoa etc. Upland rice is a plant that is widely cultivated, the results are for their own needs. Upland rice planted are local varieties such as red sigambiri, white sigambiri, sipala, sironip and the others. Generally varieties have weaknesses such as deep age, low production, easy to fall and other weaknesses. The presence of a new upland rice variety called Inpago is a breakthrough that gives hope for increasing upland rice production. There are many varieties of Inpago that have been released to farmers for planting. From the results of several studies show that Inpago production is quite high. In addition, several Inpago varieties have adapted to land in the low to medium lands so that the distribution of their plantings has become more widespread. The pilot project (Demplot) held in West Sigodang Nagori is a way to introduce several Inpago varieties that have an agro-ecosystem that fits the nagori. In order to provide information about the growth and production of Inpago that is tested, several farmers are included in their cultivation and at harvest time, apart from farmers, local agricultural extension workers are also invited. Based on the yields, the farmers are interested in planting the Inpago Agritan variety and the seeds to be planted from the harvests of this pilot plot

Abstract

Abstract

The transformation of legal scholarship in higher education increasingly depends on the capacity of student-edited law journals to align with international standards of academic quality, editorial integrity, and global visibility. In Indonesia, several student-run law journals—such as those managed by Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), Universitas Gadjah Mada, and Universitas Indonesia—have begun experimenting with digital platforms, peer review systems, and open-access dissemination to enhance their academic standing. Building upon previous research adopting and modifying the Harvard Law Review model of editorial management, this study explores strategic and innovative approaches to developing student-edited law journals toward international recognition. Using a qualitative and comparative descriptive method, it analyzes the transformation of editorial practices, digitalization processes, peer review mechanisms, and collaborative initiatives across selected Indonesian law faculties. The findings indicate that sustainable transformation requires a holistic strategy integrating academic rigor, technological innovation, and strong institutional support. Moreover, international benchmarking, ethical publication standards, and cross-border academic partnerships are identified as crucial factors in improving journal reputation and visibility. This study contributes to the advancement of legal scholarship in Indonesia by proposing a practical framework that can guide student-edited law journals—particularly at UNNES—in evolving from local academic initiatives into internationally reputable platforms for legal research and discourse.

Abstract

Abstract

The situation of anarchism in Indonesia is a result of a conflict between state law and living law and is due to social, economic, and political inequality. This study seeks to understand anarchism, not only as a criminal act, but as a socio-legal condition consisting of a structural complaint and a crisis of legal legitimacy. To understand how state law, living law, and social order interconnect to cause the oppressed to act anarchistically, the study uses empirical legal research along with a socio-legal approach and legal literature research. The results of the study show social inequality coupled with arbitrary law enforcement results in a loss of legal legitimacy which arguably weakens the law and transforms it into a tool of oppression rather than a tool of justice. Thus, people’s resistance to structural injustices is expressed in the form of legal defiance. An enhanced model of legal responsiveness is warranted which consists of participative regulatory adjustments, the integration of restorative justice, the broadening of justice system gates, oversight of economic policy, and the digital revolution. The system change, to comply with the demands of justice and social order, places the consolidation of a responsive legal system, and not a repressive one, as a necessity of legal and socio-political order.

Abstract

Abstract

This article conducts a doctrinal and comparative analysis of Indonesia’s LAPS-SJK and Singapore’s FIDReC to examine how institutional design shapes fairness, accessibility, and legitimacy in financial dispute resolution. Drawing on normative legal methods and qualitative thematic analysis, the study evaluates each institution’s governance structure, mediation model, procedural architecture, transparency practices, and enforcement mechanisms. The comparison shows that the two bodies are grounded in distinct regulatory logics that produce markedly different capacities to mitigate information asymmetry in financial disputes. LAPS-SJK adopts a facilitative mediation model that emphasises party autonomy and mediator neutrality. In practice, however, this approach proves inadequate in an environment where consumers face complex financial products and substantial informational disadvantages. The absence of evaluative guidance, combined with a single-tier dispute-resolution structure, limited transparency, and weak enforcement, often restricts consumers’ ability to secure substantively fair outcomes. These features risk reinforcing rather than correcting existing power imbalances. FIDReC, by contrast, employs a hybrid mediation model that permits evaluative input and is supported by a two-tier system in which adjudication operates as a safeguard against unfair settlements. Its robust transparency regime—featuring detailed annual reports and anonymised case summaries—enhances institutional accountability and predictability. Binding outcomes backed by MAS oversight further strengthen compliance and user confidence. The study concludes that effective financial dispute resolution requires more than statutory mandates; it depends on institutional capacity, regulatory coherence, and mechanisms that actively address structural inequalities. The contrasting experiences of LAPS-SJK and FIDReC highlight the importance of transparency, evaluative support, and enforceability in promoting procedural justice and institutional legitimacy.

Abstract

This community service is an implementation of science in the field of Design / Engineering, especially 3D object design. The Indonesian creative industry sees great opportunities with 3D design. This is closely related to the development of information technology that is increasing every year. Knowing how to create 3D objects will open up job opportunities for the current generation. In addition, it is also one way to attract scientific interests to the University level, especially in the Mechanical Engineering Department. In facing increasingly fierce global competition, it is very necessary The purpose of this community service program is to provide training in creating 3D objects to vocational school students because there is no comprehensive training on the process of creating 3D objects and their supporting tools. as an effort to improve design skills and also at the same time capture students' interests and talents to be able to learn early about one of the sciences in the Mechanical Engineering Department. 3D object design begins with how to create 3D objects with website-based Onshape3d. Onshape3d with a website was chosen because it is open source or free. Onshape3d's ability to create 3D objects and create 3D animations has long been recognized, because it is open source. To prevent creativity support from becoming a burden, it is hoped that this will become a source of innovation for participants. To assess the effectiveness of the training, student understanding was evaluated through Quizizz before the pre-test and after the post-test of the activity. The pre-test results showed that students' initial understanding of 3D design concepts and CAD software was still relatively low, with an average score of 45%. Their knowledge was still limited to the basic functions of modeling software. After the training, the post-test evaluation showed a significant improvement: the average score jumped to 76%, reflecting a better understanding of 3D design concepts and skills in using OnShape 3D.
