Abstract

This research aims to develop mathematics student activity sheets on cube and rectangle box volume material, to determine the quality of mathematicsl activity sheets developed and to find out the user's response to mathematics activity sheets, and to understand students' understanding after using a sheet of mathematics activity. The development research method used in this study refers to the research design of the 4D model developed by Thiagarajan which consists of 4 stages of development namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The subjects of this study were 30 fifth grade students at Panancangan Elementary School 2. The results of the study were (1) the average level of feasibility of the mathematics activity sheet reached 84.6% which was included in the category of "very feasible", obtain an average percentage of 97% which is included in the category of "very good", (3) the teacher's response to the sheet of mathematics activity gets an average percentage of 83% which falls into the category of "very good" and (4) understanding test students obtain an average value of 86.03 which shows students' understanding in the "very good" category so that it can be concluded that the mathematics activity sheet was successfully developed into a better teaching material because it has been prepared according to the design and is able to provide learning benefits.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the use of a mixed learning model of station rotation on the critical thinking skills of junior high school students with the science material of Earth Structure and Its Development. This study uses a quantitative method, a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. Two classes were used, one experimental class and one control class, each of which used a different learning model. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling or non-random sampling, with the type of sampling being purposive sampling. The results showed that the discovery learning model had a greater influence on students' critical thinking skills compared to the mixed learning model of station rotation. After conducting research and data analysis, a result was obtained that there was no effect of the use of a mixed learning model of station rotation on students' critical thinking skills on the material of Earth Structure and Its Development. These result were obtained from a non-parametrik test (Mann Whitney test), namely the Assymp.2 sig(2 tailed) value of 0,151 > 0,05 which can be said to reject the research hypothesis.

Abstract

Permasalahan literasi digital pada siswa SMP kelas VII dalam pembelajaran IPA menjadi tantangan di era digital, terutama karena terbatasnya integrasi teknologi dalam proses belajar mengajar. Berdasarkan wawancara, kecakapan literasi digital siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA belum optimal, sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui tingkat validasi dari para ahli dan respon siswa terhadap pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis Kodular materi ekologi dan keanekaragaman hayati Indonesia untuk melatih literasi digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development dengan model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate) dari Thiagarajan, dan dilaksanakan di dua SMP Negeri di Kota Cilegon dengan sampel 18 siswa kelas VII. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis Kodular ini memiliki tingkat validitas yang tinggi. Validasi oleh ahli Pendidikan IPA memperoleh persentase 92,02%. Respon siswa terhadap pengembangan media ini juga sangat baik, dengan persentase 92,33%. Berdasarkan hasil ini, media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dinilai layak untuk diuji lebih lanjut dan berpotensi untuk diimplementasikan dalam skala lebih luas. Disarankan agar guru atau peneliti lainnya dapat mengembangkan media pembelajaran dengan cakupan yang lebih luas dan menggunakan tema atau materi pembelajaran IPA lainnya di masa depan.

Abstract

Terdapat kesenjangan di beberapa SMP yaitu kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa belum dikembangkan secara memadai melalui proses pembelajaran IPA. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan pembelajaran yang masih teacher center, penggunaan bahan ajar belum variatif serta model pembelajaran yang belum maksimal. LKPD berbasis PBL dapat digunakan untuk menyelesaikan solusi untuk melatih kemampuan berpikir kritis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan tingkat kelayakan dan seberapa baik siswa menyikapi LKPD berbasis PBL pada materi usaha dan energi. Penggunaan metode R&D menurut Thiagarajan dibatasi oleh peneliti sampai tahap pengembangan (develop) meliputi tahapan validasi produk oleh para Ahli dan uji coba terbatas. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar angket validasi ahli dan angket respon siswa. Hasil kelayakan produk LKPD berbasis PBL pada materi Usaha & Energi yang sudah dikembangkan mendapatkan perolehan nilai rata-rata dari ahli materi, ahli media dan ahli praktisi sebesar 87,69% dan ada pada kriteria "sangat layak”. Hasil angket respon siswa terhadap LKPD berbasis PBL pada materi Usaha & Energi memperoleh nilai persentase sebesar 85,4% dan ada pada kelompok kategori “sangat baik”. Hal ini bisa diartikan bahwa penerapan LKPD berbasis PBL pada materi Usaha & Energi sangat baik dimanfaatkan di dalam pembelajaran untuk melatih kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMP.

Abstract

Tuntutan dalam pendidikan abad 21 harus memiliki keterampilan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Berpikir kritis adalah kemampuan untuk terlibat dalam suatu aktivitas, proses, atau prosedur tertentu. Pengembangan e-instrumen HOTS untuk melatih kemampuan berpikir kritis menjadi resolusi dari permasalahan pembelajaran yang dihadapi siswa. Penelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengembangkan produk berbentuk e-instrumen dengan mengangkat materi keanekaragaman hayati untuk melatih kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang valid sehingga bisa diaplikasikan dalam pembelajaran kelas VII pada tingkat SMP. Penelitian dan pengembangan merupakan metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diadaptasi dari 4-D (Four-D). Model ini terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu define (pendefinisian), design (perancangan), development (pengembangan), dan disseminate (penyebaran), tetapi penelitian ini hanya sampai pada tahap pengembangan bagian hasil respon siswa terhadap pengembangan e-instrumen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa tingkat validitas yang diperoleh dari para ahli evaluasi, materi, dan guru IPA terhadap e-instrumen HOTS untuk melatih kemampuan berpikir kritis memperoleh nilai persentase keseluruhan sebesar 88,07% dengan kategori “Sangat Valid”. Sedangkan Untuk hasil respon siswa menunjukkan nilai persentase sebesar 84,03% dan masuk dalam kategori “Sangat Baik”. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan dapat dilanjutkan pada tahap lanjut atau uji coba skala luas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat validitas dan respon siswa terhadap Media Pembelajaran Kartu Kuartet Pada Materi Tata Surya Untuk Membangun Minat Belajar Siswa. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (RnD) dengan model 4-D, dibatasi sesuai dengan kemampuan dan kebutuhan peneliti yaitu dengan menggunakan tiga tahapan yaitu : pendefinisian (define), perancangan (design), dan pengembangan (development). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan tingkat kevalidan yang diperoleh secara keseluruhan dari para ahli materi, media, dan praktisi mendapatkan hasil rata-rata sebesar 85,84% dengan kategori “sangat valid”. Sedangkan hasil respon siswa memperoleh persentase sebesar 84,86% dengan kategori “sangat valid”. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa Media kartu kuartet ini efektif sebagai alat pendukung pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa pada materi tata surya dan dapat dilanjutkan pada tahapan selanjutnya

Abstract

The concept of multiculturalism has been widely discussed, but its implementation in various educational environments shows less variation. This study aims to analyze various studies related to CRT to identify patterns, supporting factors, and their impact on learning. This type of research uses the systematic literature review (SLR) methodology. The sample in this study consists of scientific articles that discuss the practice and implications of culturally responsive teaching in formal educational contexts, both at elementary, secondary, and higher levels. The data collection method in this study was carried out through a systematic literature search process using academic databases. The data analysis method used in this study is thematic analysis, which aims to identify, group, and interpret the main patterns that emerge from the articles reviewed. The results of the study indicate that CRT is able to improve learning outcomes, student engagement, and the development of critical thinking skills. This approach is also practical in bridging the cultural gap between students and learning materials, creating an inclusive environment, and supporting the development of soft skills such as collaboration and problem-solving. The implications of this study are to show that culturally responsive teaching can increase student engagement, strengthen cultural identity, and encourage a more inclusive learning environment. Therefore, educational institutions and policymakers need to consider integrating this approach into the curriculum, learning planning, and teacher training and professional development programs.

Abstract

Science learning in schools should not only emphasize conceptual understanding but also foster science process skills that train critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities. However, classroom practice is still dominated by rote memorization, leaving students’ science process skills underdeveloped. This study addresses the gap by developing a Guided Inquiry-based Student Worksheet on the concept of living things classification. The unique contribution of this student worksheet lies in its integration of guided inquiry phases with authentic classification activities, enabling students to engage in exploration, observation, and independent analysis. Unlike conventional worksheets that mainly provide summaries or drill questions, this product is designed to stimulate scientific investigation and active participation. The research adopted the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate), although this study was limited to the Develop stage. Nine validators (three media experts, three material experts, and three science teachers) and 35 seventh-grade students participated as respondents. Validation results indicated an average feasibility score of 86.9% (“highly feasible”), while student responses reached 87.2% (“very positive”). These findings confirm that the developed student worksheet is not only valid in terms of content and presentation but also well-received by students. Beyond providing an alternative learning material, the broader implication of this study is that Guided Inquiry-based student worksheet can serve as a strategic tool to cultivate science process skills by combining discovery learning with real-life classification practices. Consequently, this product has the potential to enrich science learning with more meaningful and activity-oriented approaches, while preparing students to face 21st-century challenges that demand critical thinking, collaboration, and evidence-based reasoning.

Abstract

ABSTRAKpeneliti menemukan bahwa masih banyak peserta didik sekolah dasar yang belum mampu menuangkan bahasa tulisnya kedalam bahasa lisan. Spesifikasi produk yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini yakni media pembelajaran yang layak digunakan untuk kegiatan pembelajran dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbahsa, sehingga peneliti mengangkat judul Pengembangan “Media Pembelajaran Big Book Beerbasis Cerita Deskripsi dikelas IV SDN 2 Kadujajar”. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan, penelitian dan pengembangan Research and Development (RD) Desain penelitian dan pengembangan yang akan dilaksanakan merujuk 6 langkah yaitu analisis masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain dan uji coba produkKelayakan media pembelajaran diperoleh persentase dari ahli media 1 sebesar 86% dan ahli media 2 sebesar 90%, dari dua ahli bahasa ahli bahasa 1 sebesar 84% dan ahli bahasa 2 sebesar 96%, dan dari dua ahli materi, ahli materi 1 sebesar 95% dan ahli materi 2 sebesar 81% sehingga diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 88% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”. Respons peserta didik terhadap media pembelajaran big book berbasis cerita deskripsi di kelas IV uji coba lapangan yang melibatkan 12 peserta didik memperoleh persentase 82% yang termasuk dalam kategori “Sangat Baik”.Kata Kunci : Media Pembelajran, Big Book, Cerita Deskripsi, Kelas IV SD

Abstract

An engaging learning medium can increase students’ interest and enthusiasm, especially in mathematics learning, where interactive media are essential to encourage active participation. This development research aims to investigate teachers’ use of media, the process of developing instructional media, the feasibility of the product, students’ cognitive improvement, and their responses toward the use of the medium. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which includes five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The findings revealed that the Smart Box Mathematics media had never been used by teachers due to limited creative ideas, thus requiring collaboration in its creation. The media was rated as “Highly Feasible” with an average validation score of 89% from media experts, 93% from material experts, and a 94.66% positive response from students. Moreover, the cognitive understanding of students improved significantly, with an average N-Gain score of 82.2%, categorized as “Effective.” Therefore, the Smart Box Mathematics media for multiplication material in grade II elementary school is highly feasible and effective to support classroom learning.
