Abstract

PT. Infomedia Nusantara is a company engaged in the field of CRM and BPM. PT. Infomedia Nusantara utilizes information technology to help companies achieve their goals. Because there are still deficiencies in the management of IT assets, as well as the management of human resources that support IT operations, therefore the capability level analysis with qualitative method using the COBIT 5 framework uses process EDM04 (asset resource optimization), APO07 (manage human resources), BAI09 (manage assets), and DSS01 manage operation). The data were collected using data triangulation technique by observation, interview, and assessment with assessment sheet. After the assessment with respondens, general manager network and IT infrastructure, deputyGM human resource, dan manager IT operation which choosen based on RACI Chart in COBIT 5,it can be seen that the level achieved by PT. Infomedia Nusantara on process EDM04, APO07, BAI09, and DSS01 is at level 3. There is a GAP of 1 level from each sub-domain because the desired level of the company is level 4. The recommendation that will be given is focused on making process measurement documents from each sub-domain and control limits

Abstract

PT Tirta Investama (AQUA) Pandaan is one company that has been utilizing information technology (IT) to support its business process. All activities are managed directly by the division of Danone Information Systems (DAN'IS) as the responsible for the provision and development of technology facilities and corporate information systems. The existence of such utilization, certainly raises the evaluation material in order to maintain the functionality of technology to keep stable. This study aims to evaluate the process of ensure risk optimization, manage security, and manage security services. Two of the three processes are examples of processes related to information security. Information security is selected as an audit object, since the company has a policy on the IS Security Policy document managed by the DAN'IS Security Analyst. This study uses the COBIT 5 framework as the main reference. The research method is doing by observation, interview, and analysis through assessment sheet to describe the condition of Base Practices (BP), Work Product (WP), Generic Practices (GP), and Generic Work Product (GWP) of EDM03 (Ensure Risk Optimization), APO13 (Manage Security), and DSS05 (Manage Security Services). So it is known the capability level of the three processes are at level 3. Each process has different gap levels. Therefore, a recommendation is given as a guide improving the quality of risk optimization and information security so as to reach the targeted level of achievement.

Abstract

The Ministry of Communication and Information Technology in Indonesia is a government organizers in the field of communication and information technology. The success of the ministry on doing its job is based on the existence of information technolgy. Data Center and information Facilities troops is responsible for information technology management. The importance of managing information technology is aligned with managing of optimal information technology resources to support business activities. With the obstacles that have been found about information technology resources currently, human resources management, service request and incindents on Data Center and Information Facilities troops, therefore it's necessary to do the evaluation focus on the problems to help providing recomendations for fixing and improving the problems. The COBIT 5 framework is appropriate to evaluate information technology resources on subdomain EDM04: Ensure Resource Optimisation, APO07: Manage Human Resources, and DSS02: Manage Service Request and Incidents to determine capability level and GAP analysis. The result of capability level on EDM04 and APO07 is at the level 3, DSS02 is at the level 2 with the value of each subdomain gap score 1. In hope that the organization can achieve the targeted level, the recommendation given is focusing on control in each procedures, defining organization structure, and truning systematic documents in incidents handling and service request.

Abstract

PT Kereta Api Indonesia which provide train transportation in Indonesia has nine areas of operation, one of them is Daerah Operasi XX. PT KAI has vision and mission focusing on customer service. In service operation PT KAI have been using information technology. To create a successful information technology, the role of human resource is necessary. However practically, based on result of an interview, there are problems related to information technology resources, including less than optimal human resource planning and mapping, and also less than optimal service management for customer. It is necessary to evaluate the level capability IT resource using framework COBIT 5 to find out the value of capability level on subdomain EDM04 (Ensure Resource Optimization), APO07 (Manage Human Resource) and DSS03 (Manage Problems). The value of capability level in this research is obtained from several methods, say questioner, interviews, and observation. The results of this evaluation are to get the value of capability level for each subdomain were level 2 while targeted level for each subdomain were 3 with GAP value 1. Recommendation that given for the third subdomain is to focus on planning and mapping of human resource and infrastructure management.

Abstract

Drinking Water Company (PDAM) of Malang City was a water supply company that applied information technology in carrying out all its activities. Almost all integrated systems and applications between divisions are managed by the center of the Management Information System (SIM) or known as the IT division. Therefore, to increase employee as a user and customer satisfaction with services provided by IT division, PDAM needs performance measurement in IT division to know the contribution of IT division in achieving company's vision and mission. Compiling of IT Balanced Scorecard was an appropriate method to determined how well the performance of IT division in supporting decision making in vision, mission and corporate objectives based on 4 domains. The purpose of the researcher was to developed the target of Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and strategic initiatives for each strategy's target on 4 IT Balanced Scorecard domains. The data itself are collected with interview and observation. From the interview result got 6 strategy's target and 8 KPI for target achievement 3 years ahead. Strategic initiatives gained based on target size are increasing IT costs and user satisfaction with services and improving IT governance and competence of Human Resources (HR) IT division.

Abstract

Melon is one of the most popular fruits in Indonesia. According to experts Antok Wahyu Sektiono melon which has Latin name Cucumis Melo included in the tribe of pumpkin or Cucurbitaceae. However, in Indonesia itself, melon fodder according to the survey from the Ministry of agriculture actually has doubled from 2008 to 2013. The mentioned problems can be solved by recognizing the common symptoms of melon disease. Common symptoms have similarities with other symptoms of the disease, so the public difficulty in recognizing the common symptoms of melon disease with other diseases. The problem of recognizing the symptoms of melon disease can be solved by expert system. Expert systems apply knowledge of melon disease symptoms into the system. Android is a mobile-based operating system. Android itself has a lot of users in Indonesia. For that android-based expert system certainly can reach the wider community. The method used in this expert system is Naive Bayes. The method is implemented on expert system inference engine in order to make a conclusion based on knowledge available on the knowledge base. Results obtained after an accuracy test of 96% indicating that the method of Naive Bayes is suitable for cases of melon disease.

Abstract

Shopee is one of the youngest e-commerce that is growing rapidly in the online buying and selling market. This mobile apps marketplace officially operating in Indonesia on 2015 and on 2018 Shopee has been achieved 1.5 million transactions within 24 hours on June which is a new record for the e-commerce marketplace in Indonesia. However by having the marketing strategy are Warranty strategy, Free Shipping and Cheapest Price Guarantee, there are still many reviews from users taht this application is still less satisfactory such as application error complaints, inaccurate order tracking, payment features, Shopeepay wallets and product images that often do not appear. This study aims to determine the quality of service in affecting customer satisfaction, trust and loyalty to Shopee. Respondents in this study are consumers who have made purchases of products at Shopee. The model used in this study adapted the model of Kasim Abdullah who has five dimensions on Service Quality namely Ease of Use, Web Design and Layout, Responsiveness, Perrsonalization, Assurance that affect the Trust, Word of Mouth and Intention. This study used a sample of 100 respondents with quota sampling technique. This study was tested using PLS-SEM and evaluated the model by using Measurement Model and Structural Model to know the quality and significant influence to the constituents that have been hypothesized. From the results of the study showed that from the five dimensions of Service Quality there are two dimensions of Ease of Use and Layout that does not significantly affect Satisfaction. Satisfaction positively affects Trust and Intention but does not affect word-of mouth.Trust affects Word-of-mouth but does not positively affect Intention, and last word-of mouth positively affects Intention.

Abstract

Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika (KOMINFO) Provinsi Jawa Timur is a government agency in the field of communications and informatics as well as providing public services. KOMINFO has a data center that manages information from all IT services and devices in KOMINFO's office, the data center manages a lot of important and valuable information which must be secured with clear standards. Based on interviews that have been done, KOMINFO shall do information security in accordance with Peraturan Menteri Komunikasi dan Informatika Republik Indonesia Nomor 4 Tahun 2016, other than that KOMINFO will also conduct an ISO 27001 certification on information security. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to evaluate the security of existing information using the Indeks KAMI and then see the results of the completeness and maturity of information security in the 5 areas of the Indeks KAMI and the feasibility of KOMINFO to perform ISO 27001 certification. From the evaluation results known about the maturity level of each information area at the I+ level and overall KOMINFO is not feasible to perform ISO 27001 certification. The result is the basis for making recommendations. The recommendations are made by comparing the shortcomings of the existing areas of the Indeks KAMI with the controls that exist in ISO 27001. One of the recommendations provided is that KOMINFO should implement detection, prevention and restoration controls to protect facilities against malware.

Abstract

Office of Communication and Informatics Probolinggo is an organization that serves the community function professionally in the field of information and communication that always improve professionalism for vision, mission and goals that have been achieved by the organization. In the performance there are still some obstacles in human resource management and information technology infrastructure such as investment management issued is still not in accordance with the benefits and results in the can, lack of human resources in activities that cause other personnel to work two jobs, master plan still not yet optimal, but the planning office system because of its broad base and no grip, planning in the IT field itself still follow local government plan. It is necessary to evaluate the level of information technology resource capability using the framework COBIT 5. To determine the Capability Level values ​​on the EDM04 subdomains, APO07, BAI09 and DSS01. The results of questionnaire analysis, interviews and observations obtained value of Capability Level on EDM 04 domain Ensure Resource Optimization at level 2, APO 07 Manage Human Resources at level 2, BAI 09 Manage Assets are at level 1 and DSS 01 Manage Operations are at level 1 in each domain has a gap or gap value 1.

Abstract

Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika (Diskominfo) Kota Probolinggo is a government agency and responsible for communication, informatics, statistics, and encryption. According to interview there are some problems encountered in Diskominfo such as some activity are not supported by documentation and SOP for providing service IT, lack of human resource management cause inapproriate assigment to their basic tasks and functions, in addition the evaluation is still for finances and not for information technology, therefore it is needed to evaluate for IT governance to finding the solutions to these problems. In this research will talk about IT governance using COBIT 4.1 framework focus on Deliver and Support (DS) and Monitor and Evaluate (ME) domain. The purposes of this research are assessing current maturity level on domain Deliver and Support and Monitor and Evaluate and giving recommendation to achieve expected maturity level. On Deliver and Support domain the average of current maturity level is 1,61 and for Monitor and Evaluate domain the average of current maturity level is 1,25. The purpose of recommendations is to improve current maturity level so Diskominfo can improve their IT governance, one of the given reccomendation is documenting and socializing for the trainning program that has been done.
