Abstract

e-TPT Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Malang Utara is an innovation application by Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Malang Utara. This application was made to support tax activity which is conducted by taxpayer. The main features of this application is to get queue number online. From the beginning of its publication, this application only focus on functionality and has not been tested for its usability. Therefore, heuristic evaluation is conducted to find out what usability problems exist in the application. The evaluators involved in this heuristic evaluation process were 3 evaluators. Usability evaluation using heuristic evaluation method resulted in a total of 30 problems. From these 30 usability problems, the average of severity ratings that is found can be classified into 3 of 4 category namely cosmetic, minor and mayor. The most usability problems are found in H-4 (Consistency and Standards) with total 7 problems or 23.3% from all problems found. While the highest average of severity rating is found in H-9 (Help User Recognize, Diagnose and Recovers User) which has an average severity ratings of 3. Improvement recommendations are made based on the results of the heuristic evaluation and produce 10 page designs and 6 pop-up / notification designs.

Abstract

PT Abadi Mitra Andhika (AMA) is an inter-island expedition company established in 1997. Current conditions for information delivery of goods starts from the receipt of goods from the sender and the delivery of goods is done manually. The sender comes directly to PT Abadi Mitra Andika to deliver goods which will then be received and recorded by Sales using Microsoft Excel. If a customer requests item status, Sales will contact the Operations and Vendor door. From here, there is a delay in the process of tracking information and operations so that to overcome this problem, an inter-island cargo shipping expedition information system is needed. To build an inter-island freight forwarding system information system, analysis and design of the system is needed. System analysis and design uses the OOAD (Object Oriented Analysis and Design) approach and is described using UML (Unifed Modeling Language). This study produces modeling of current business processes and proposed business processes, system requirements analysis, system design and evaluation conducted by business process reviews, usage scenarios, useability scenarios using WEBUSE (Website Usability Evaluation) and matrix traceability. The evaluation results of the review process and matrix traceability show that the user path matches the flow in the use case specification and all requirements have a unique code that can be traced to the feature.

Abstract

Faculty of Computer Science (Filkom) Universitas Brawijaya is one of the educational institutions that already has a web-based information systems that can be used to record, process and provide informations to facilitate the deployment of information related to teaching and learning activities up to academic services. However, there are several formerly documents of academic activities that are still documented manually, one of them is Field Work Practice activities. Based on the interview with the students, it was found that the activites of Field Work Practice that has not been computerized well caused its process become ineffective and inefficient, which also affected the user experience. This study uses the User Journey Mapping method that can dig deeper the problems based on the user experience and provide the ideas of solutions towards the problems. The stages that carried out in this study are identification of the actors, identification of the activities then mapping it to the User Journey Retrospective, mapping the thoughts, emotions, and ideas of solutions, and then checking the User Journey Retrospective map, and finally mapping the Prospective User Journey based on the ideas of solution which obtained by the User Journey Retrospective map. Mapping of User Journey Prospective is done by creating a scenario of the Field Work Practice which integrated with the Filkom Apps information systems. The final results of the study indicate that the User Journey Prospective map is accordance with the idea of ​​solution given towards the problems that are available on the User Journey Retrospective map.

Abstract

Department of Cooperatives and Micro enterprises of Malang (Dinkop Malang) is a government agency engaged in cooperatives and micro businesses. The Dinkop Malang has a website that is used to spread information to the public, but the existing website needs to be improved to the problems such as sidebar that is too long, the content arrangement and use of the terms that are less appropriate, and writing style that is too small. Improvements are adapting the Human Centered Design (HCD) method, that is an iterative approach of system development with human consideration as the center of its activities so that the results obtained according to the needs of its user. The HCD stages are analysis the context of use, user requirements analysis, produce design solution, and evaluate the design solution. The results of the research is the improvement of the user interface design and comparison of usability achievements between the results of the initial evaluation and the final evaluation. In the results of the comparison on the aspects of effectiveness obtained 48% achievement in the initial evaluation to 100% at the final evaluation. On the efficiency aspect obtained average initial working time of 130.6 seconds to 36.91 second in final evaluation. The results of the comparison of user satisfaction aspects using the WEBUSE questionnaire obtained an enhancement in each WEBUSE category with the initial design value is moderate improved to good. The questionnaire selection is based on the reliability and satisfactory response from users. From the results of the comparison obtained, the improvement of the user interface design of Dinkop Malang website is able to answer the problems that exist in the initial design.

Abstract

Setapak Teratour is a business company engaged in field of travel organizer that want a website to help them advertise their tour package, provide an easier way for prospective buyers to make transaction, and give prospective buyers a better way to communicate with Setapak Teratour's staff. One of the method that can be used in desinging a website is Human Centered Design (HCD) method. This method is a designing method that focuses on human factors in the process. The stages of this research is follow the stages in Human Centered Design, namely (1) understand and specify the context of use which produces list of stakeholders and their characteristic; (2) specify the user requirements that obtained by doing interview with 5 (five) respondents; (3) produce design solution; (4) evaluate the design solution by doing interview with 5 (five) respondent and generate 9 improvement suggestion for user interface, and (5) improve the design by reffering to improvement suggestion from evaluation process. The final results of this research is an improved website user interface design from the previous one and refers to the evaluation result from the respondents.

Abstract

Ventika Terra Semesta is a company property developer in Malang that engaged on housing developer. One of the divisions on PT. Ventika Terra semesta is operational division. Operational division on duty for doin development. Development is one of core activities of PT. Ventika terra semesta. Based on the result of interviews with part of PT. Ventika terra semesta there is a problem on operational division. That problem is often occur of delay in development. In one year happened five times of delay in development. This result is customer complains and delay in repayment for house. When that problem not immediately resolved, the customer will move to order house to the competitors, so that will decrease the provit of PT. Ventika terra semesta. Based on the problems is modeling needs to be done and business process analysis to find out the cause of problems so can provide a suggestion of business process in order to improve the time efficiency.To doing business process modeling on this research uses BPMB (Business Process Modelling and Notation). To get a better business process can be uses business process improvement methode(BPI). To find of activities on business process which needs to be repaired, that use the technique of ESIA ( Eliminate, Simplify, Integrate, Automate). Simulation results of material purchasing business process has a decreased time is amounting to 62% or 7 days 13 hours 2 minutes 29 seconds.

Abstract

Information Technology (IT) in the industrial world currently plays a vital role in the sustainability of business processes, including PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur. To maintain the continuity of its business process activities, PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur realizes the need for continuous control efforts. This control effort is closely related to the increased risk of implementing IT at PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur. Risks that have a negative impact have the potential to threaten the sustainability of the organization's business activities if they reach certain criteria that make it a disaster. This is what drives PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur to prepare itself for the possibility of a disaster. This study aims to prepare a Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) for PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur. DRP is a type of contingency plan that includes organizational preparation and response when a disaster occurs. The drafting of the DRP is guided by the NIST SP 800-34 framework that begins with the identification and assessment of risks, Business Impact Analysis (BIA), identification of preventive controls and preparation of contingency strategies. After the steps are carried out, the research is continued with the development of a contingency plan that includes plans for the activation phase, recovery phase and reconstitution phase. The results of this study are DRP documents that are adapted to the conditions of the PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur organization. This DRP document contains guidelines for service recovery along with preventive measures before a disaster occurs.

Abstract

Online shopping activities in Indonesia are now increasing rapidly. Therefore, businesses need to provide a site that allows their customers to shop online. The purpose of this study is to design an information system that can handle the online sales in Balinesia T-Shirt, which has not run optimally. The design approach used in this study is Human Centered Design (HCD), to produce a designs solutions that can meet the needs, easy to use, and provide a good experience for the users. The resulting design solution is a software-based high-fidelity prototype. The design solution is then evaluated using the usability testing technique. After the first evaluation, the design solution was improved and two alternatives were made. The second evaluation shows that the two alternatives are relatively easy to use, but there are still some improvements that need to be made to the user interface. From the user satisfaction it was found that all participants were satisfied with the design.

Abstract

Regional Personnel Agency (BKD) of Lumajang Regency as a government agency that an important role in the management of district civil servants, has several information technologies that support the services owned. As an organization that follows the development of information technology, it takes a management of information technology services to overcome the challenges of emerging threats and new risks that are likely to occur due to an IT incident (Daft & Marcic, 2006). Managers should be able to cope with IT incidents effectively and efficiently so as not to cause harm to the organization as IT decreases reputation. Given the importance of a management service and the role of managers as parties planning, organizing, leading, and controlling the resources of the Organization, the authors initiative to evaluate the implementation of the Service management in the institution of BKD Lumajang District uses the COBIT 5 framework on the DSS02 process (Request Management and service incident) because COBIT 5 is created by ISACA which is an organization that provides knowledge, certification, community and education on organizational Governance and IT management with regard to risk and IT compliance. The capability level result of the evaluation is at level 0 with a percentage of 41.5%. While the target capability level, which is Level 1 so there is a gap 1 level. The recommendation of improvement provided consists of 23 recommendations mapped to the roadmap with a span of 5 years.

Abstract

The Government of Sidoarjo has the objective to improve the quality of innovative and equitable public services to the society which is a public complaint service that is sheltered by the Public Complaints and Service Center (P3M). One of the society's features to complain is the website that has been provided by P3M Sidoarjo Regency. However, the website is less attractive to society because it has many problems. one of them is the complaints are difficult to trace, there are no supporting features in making complaints and there is no feature for two-way communication in complaints that have been made. from some of these problems, society prefers to make complaints through social media. from some of these problems the society prefer to make complaints through social media, this makes complaints not recorded properly. Based on problem, the analysis and design of an information system are needed to resolve the problem. the system design process is created using Object-oriented analysis and design with UML modeling. the results of the system design are evaluated using the Traceability Matrix and usability testing. requirements analysis produces 32 functional requirements and 1 non-functional requirement and 12 use cases, in the system design made 4 controller classes and 10 model classes, at the evaluation stage using traceability matrix shows all the results of the system design can be traced to the requirements analysis and business process modeling and Evaluation using usability testing results in an average success rate of 97% and an average time-based efficiency of 0.03 tasks/second.
