Abstract

The Problem of this research is that the schools observed have never excelled, especially in discus throwing competitions, both at the district, provincial and national levels. There are still many students whose throwing results are below the discus throwing. The lack of maximum student throwing results is due to the lack of student arm muscle power when throwing. This research is to see the effect of circuit training and training systems in terms of learning motivation on discus throwing results. This study uses an experimental method with a factorial design with a level of 2x2. The population of this study was male students of SMP Negeri 2 Pendalian IV Koto, totaling 74 people and number of samples from all treatment plans was 40 people, based on group division 27% high learning motivation level and 27% low learning motivation level. The learning motivation instrument is measured by angle. The data obtained were analyzed using two-way ANOVA and Tukey's test with a significance level of α = 0.05. The final results : (1) Overall there is a difference in the effect of circuit training and the discus throwing circuit training method. (2) There is an interaction between circuit training methods and system set training with learning motivation on the discus throwing results(3) There are differences in the results of discus throwing given the circuit training method and set system training at high learning motivation. (4) There are differences in the results of throwing discus given the circuit training method and set system training at low learning motivation.

Abstract

Based on the observations of researchers in the field, it can be seen that the application of self-discipline must still be improved and evaluated to be even better because self-discipline is one of the character education that is quite difficult to apply, especially in the discipline of school lesson tasks. This study aims to determine the evaluation of the implementation of self-discipline in students of SMK Taruna Pekanbaru. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive approach using the CIPP method (Context, Input, Process, and Product). The instruments used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study were found in terms of the context of program implementation as expected. This suitability can be seen from the background of the problem of evaluating this implementation which is clearly carried out, namely to improve the implementation of character education, especially in an attitude of respect, solidarity, tolerance, love for the motherland, nationalism, and responsibility. In terms of inputs, which include the resources owned, plans, and strategies in implementing self-discipline that has been applied in the environment of SMK Taruna Pekanbaru well. The Process aspect is as expected. This is due to the side of the person in charge, namely the principal, vice principal, and related teachers, as well as the TNI and Polri who are used as partners. There are many products and even all students come on time, enter classes according to the study hours schedule, wear full school attributes, and are neat in dressing.

Abstract

Technology drives the development of interactive and customizable learning media, catering to diverse learner needs. The learning media in locomotor motion educational game applications in PE learning is the result of this research. This research develops interactive learning media using Construct 2 software on locomotor motion material for third graders students. This research applies the Brog and Gall model of research and development (R&D), involving media experts, material experts, physical education (PE) teachers, and students. The practicality test engaged PE teachers from three distinct schools, yielding an impressive average score of 98.89%, indicative of excellent practicality. The development of Construct 2-based learning media has proven very feasible to be used as an interactive learning media to increase student interest and participation in locomotor motion learning, creating an attractive and relevant learning atmosphere with the demands of today's all-digital era.

Abstract

This study addresses issues in teaching massage techniques within sports education programs, particularly concerning students' inadequate understanding and skill development. To enhance learning outcomes, this research and development (R&D) study employed the ADDIE model, focusing on the creation and validation of video-based learning media specifically designed for massage courses. The research subjects included material and media experts as well as sports education students from Padang State University. Validation results indicated that the video content met high academic and design standards, achieving scores of 88.33% from material experts and 94.54% from media experts. Practicality tests with students yielded positive feedback, with scores of 85.9% for the small group and 85.2% for the large group, demonstrating the media's effectiveness and user-friendliness. These findings suggest that video-based learning media can significantly improve understanding and engagement in complex subjects. This approach offers flexibility and supports diverse learning styles, potentially enhancing educational outcomes and fostering a more interactive learning environment.

Abstract

This research explored the impact of Project-Based Learning (PjBL), Problem-Based Learning (PBL), and Self-Confidence on the learning outcomes of short-distance running of athletics in Sports Education. It emphasized that quality learning depends on effective design, adequate facilities, and teacher creativity. The research method involved a quasi-experimental design, testing the influence of PjBL, PBL, and self-confidence on student learning outcomes. The results indicated significant differences in learning achievements based on the applied models. The PjBL and PBL models individually impacted on learning outcomes, with students exhibiting higher engagement and understanding. However, the combination of all three factors did not show a significant influence on learning outcomes. In conclusion, the research suggests that adopting innovative learning models, such as PjBL and PBL, along with fostering students' self-confidence, can enhance the learning experience in sports education.

Abstract

This study aims to see the influence of two treatment groups, namely Drills for Game-Like Situation and Drills Under Simplified Conditions, on volleyball smash ability. The results showed that Drills for Game-Like Situation had a significant influence on smash ability. There was an increase in average from pretest 1.8 to posttest 2.4 with a difference of 0.6. Drills for Game-Like Situations and Drills Under Simplified Conditions also significantly affect the smash ability of athletes. The average score of the pretest was 1.8, and the posttest became 2.2 with a difference of 0.4. The increase in smash ability was higher in the drills for gamelike situation training group, which was 33.3%, while Drills Under Simplified Conditions increased by 21.3%. Thus, it can be concluded that Drills for Game-Like Situation is more effective in improving smash ability compared to Drills Under Simplified Conditions. This study provides evidence that Drills for Game-Like Situation exercises can be a better alternative to improve the smash ability of volleyball athletes. In conclusion, the effect of two treatment groups, namely Drills for Game-Like Situation and Drills Under Simplified Conditions, on the volleyball smash ability.
