Abstract

This service program aims to increase public knowledge about mental health, stunting in infants and toddlers, TB, scabies, high risk for pregnant women and the importance of healthy living by not littering.  The method of community service is carried out by means of counseling, lectures, and questions and answers. The media used are televisions and laptops to display material in the form of power points. The data analysis technique carried out is qualitative descriptive analysis. The data collection techniques used are observation and documentation. This service activity was carried out in Babakan Ciparay District, one of the sub-districts in the city of Bandung, especially in RW 06. This service was held in September 2022.Based on the results of community service activities, it can be seen that the knowledge of community service participants increases after counseling is given, this is evidenced by the results of the evaluation carried out for 2 days. The results of the evaluation can be seen from the behavior of the community will maintain better health.

Abstract

This community service aims to implement community nutrition intervention activities in overcoming nutritional problems in Pamengkang Village, Kramatwatu District, Serang Regency, Banten Province. This community service activity was carried out by onsite / direct visit to Pamengkang Kramatwatu District, Serang Regency, Banten Province through a process of planning, implementation and evaluation on February 1, 2023. Followed by 30 health cadres, 30 mothers who have babies, and 30 elementary school children consisting of grades 3, 4, 5. Data collection techniques using documentation. The outputs of this activity are in the form of a certificate of Community Service, a report on the Activity "Interprofessional Collaboration for Public Health Handling Stunting in Pamengkang Village, Kramatwatu District, Serang Regency, Banten Province", and Collaborative Publications in the Field of Material (Community Service Articles). The community service activities carried out went well. It can be seen from the enthusiasm of cadres, mothers and children during the activity.

Abstract

This community service research has 2 goals: special and general. The specific purpose is to provide basic health information about menarche and the general purpose is to find out the level of knowledge of female students in grade 3.4.5 at SDN 02 Cipagalo about menarche and to know the weight and height of female students in grade 3.4.5 at SDN 02 Cipagalo. In this community service, an approach method is used that can help in solving existing problems, namely by conducting health examination methods and health counseling. The results obtained are none of the female students were obese in the study of 30 students aged 9–13 years. In addition, the evaluation of the activities showed a significant increase in student knowledge; The percentage of students with sufficient knowledge increased from 32.4% to 51.4%, and the percentage of students with less knowledge decreased from 40.5% to 24.3%. Based on these results, it shows that there is a significant increase in students' knowledge about menarche, with the percentage of students who have sufficient knowledge increasing from 32.4% to 51.4%, and the percentage of students who have less knowledge decreasing from 40.5% to 24.3%. This shows that counseling is effective in increasing students' understanding of important health issues. Also, weight and height were according to age and gender, there was no obesity among the female students.

Abstract

The community service aim to increase public understanding of the importance of health insurance. The implementation of activities carried out in August-October consists of preparation, implementation and closing which is carried out in the community in RW 11 of Jayagiri Village. Jayagiri Village is located in Lembang District, West Bandung Regency. The target number of community service activities is 40 people, consisting of elements: Jayagiri Village community, especially in RW 11, health cadres, and village governments and related agencies. The result of the analysis showed that before the implementation of counseling, only 54% of the public understood about health insurance and after counseling it rose to 63%, or an increase of 9%. The number of respondents was 29 people, with answers considered valid amounting to 28 respondents. It can also be seen below public understanding of health insurance increased by 7%, understanding of the components of health insurance increased by 11%, thus significantly encouraging understanding of health insurance by 25%. It also boosted public understanding of the risks in life which increased quite sharply by 21%. By having enough information about health insurance, people are better able to maintain health, prevent disease, and use preventive services provided by health insurance programs. Proper information about health insurance helps people understand the level of financial protection they have in relation to health care costs, so they can avoid unwanted financial surprises and better manage their family budgets.

Abstract

Background: Mycobacterium tuberculosis is the bacterium that causes tuberculosis, an infectious disease that targets the lungs, particularly the lung parenchyma.Aims: This study aims to increase the understanding and mindset of the patient's family about tuberculosis prevention therapy and other aspects of TB prevention and treatment through health education, especially by utilizing media such as leaflets.Methods: Pre-experiment design using the One Group Pre-test-Post-test research method is the type of study being conducted. There were 412 participants in this study. Using a purposive sampling technique, 30 persons made up the study's sample. A questionnaire was the tool utilized. The KEPK STIK Immanuel Bandung has recommended this study (No.132/KEPK/STIKI/XII/2021).Result: According to the study's findings, the majority of respondents had adequate understanding (80.0%) prior to receiving leaflets, and a good level of knowledge (83.3%) following leaflet distribution. The majority of respondents had a good attitude before receiving the leaflets (70.0%), and this attitude remained positive after receiving the leaflets (96.7%). Health Education Through Leaflet Media Has an Impact on TB Knowledge patients both prior to and following the operation. Health education using leaflet media has an impact on TB patients' attitudes both before and after the intervention. Conclusion: The findings indicate that health education via leaflet media has an impact on the attitudes and knowledge of patients with pulmonary tuberculosis. It is suggested that Rotinsulu Regional Hospital establish a regular health education program.
