Abstract

This study aims to determine the management of educational facilities and infrastructure at MI Tarbiyatus Syarifah Sidoarjo. The research method used is a qualitative research method with data collection techniques using interview techniques with madrasa heads and vice principals in the field of infrastructure facilities, observation and documentation. The data that has been collected is analyzed descriptive-narrative. The results of this study indicate that the management of educational facilities and infrastructure at MI Tarbiyatuhs Syarifah is carried out through a process of planning, procurement, storage, inventory maintenance and deletion. In the planning process, it is carried out by coordinating with the school concerned with planning what facilities and infrastructure are needed. Regarding the procurement process, the school made adjustments to the school's needs based on the school's financial condition. For the storage process, the school carries out and utilizes a warehouse by placing the facilities that need to be stored. In the aspect of maintenance, the school carries out routine and periodic maintenance with the aim that goods are not easily damaged. For the inventory aspect, the school carries out a digital documentation process accompanied by a process of removing facilities and infrastructure for items that are no longer used or can no longer be repaired while still following the provisions applied by the school.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan peran kepala sekolah dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar mengacu pada fungsi kepala sekolah sebagai educator, manajer, administrator, inovator, motivator, leader dan supervisor. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif studi kasus di SMP Negeri 2 Tangen, Jawa Tengah. Adapun teknik pengambilan data menggunakan teknik wawancara kepada kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah dan guru. Data yang didapatkan dianalisis secara deskriptif melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Peran  Kepala SMP Negeri 2 Tangen dalam  implementasi  kurikulum  Merdeka  Belajar  tergolong  sangat  aktif.  Pada peran sebagai educator, kepala sekolah memberikan bimbingan dan pemahaman kepada guru terkait pemahaman konsep merdeka belajar. Melalui fungsi sebagai manajer dan administrator, kepala sekolah harus mematikan pelaksanaan Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar dikelola dengan baik dan mengacu pada suatu program yang sistematis dan terukur. Untuk peran sebagai inovator, motivator leader dan supervisor, kepala sekolah menciptakan dan mendorong ide-ide baru dan memberikan apresiasi manakala evaluasi kegiatan tersebut bisa berjalan baik dan membawa dampak positif  bagi sekolah. Meskipun dalam implementasinya terdapat kendala, namun kepala sekolah responsif untuk mencarikan solusi permasalahan sehingga penerapan  pembelajaran pada kurikulum  merdeka  belajar bisa berjalan efektif.

Abstract

Islamic education is important to be given through the cultivation of religious values from prenatal to old age. This is because in old age, it is a time when man has a developmental duty to draw closer to God. Not all elderly people spend their old time together with their families at home, but there are elderly people who have to spend the rest of their life in a griya werdha. The social services provided in griya werdha are not only physical, but also spiritual. The research method used is the study of literature, namely conducting the process of studying books, theories that exist to be related to the topic of religious soul development in the elderly. The results of this study show that through Islamic religious education, the elderly will be helped to be able to heed the feelings of helplessness and waste felt through activities that increase the spirituality that exists. This means that even in the elderly stage, the elderly can still perform their functions and roles appropriately based on their status in the situation and conditions they face.

Abstract

This study examines about traditional markets function in social and economic community around. The object is Karah Traditional Market, Kec. Jambangan, Surabaya. This study uses qualitative descriptive method involving as many as 30 respondents, which are 15 buyers and 15 sellers conduct transactions in the Karah Traditional Market and used incidental sampling. The results of this study indicate that the social function of traditional markets Karah for communities that exist around the market first is a function of social relations, the market used as a strengthening of social relationships between sellers and buyers. Other activities are also the traders and buyers often discuss the latest news that busy discussed in public. The second social function is a function of socialization / exchange information which market participants interact with each other and make the process of delivering information and learning. As for economy functions, the first is to people who are buying and selling function which becomes meeting community needs. The second function is to bring jobs for the people around, because it absorbs jobs for the surrounding communities. The third function is the function adds to the welfare of society, the intention is Karah Market provides an additional income for the economic welfare of the community.

Abstract

The phenomenon of truant behavior in students is a real phenomenon experienced by schools. Responding to this requires handling from the school through the counseling teacher to follow up on student truant behavior. This research uses a qualitative approach as case study in MTs. Al-Ihsan Sidoarjo. The informants of this study were school principals and counseling guidance teachers, by using interviews, observation and documentation as data collection method which were then analyzed qualitative-descriptively. The findings showed that the handling of truant behavior that occurred in MTs. Al-Ihsan Sidoarjo was responded by counseling teacher in preventive and curative approaches. For the preventive approach, the counseling teacher provides advice and motivation to all students not to commit truant behavior. Apart from that, parenting sessions were also held as an educational effort and to establish communication with parents and to strengthen social control efforts by involving the role of the surrounding. In the curative approach, the counseling teacher conducts individual counseling sessions to students who have problems intensively to be able to explore reasons and determine solutions centered on the students' own awareness. In addition, the counseling teacher also conducts home visits to the house as a form of communication and checks the condition of students in the home environment. The last treatment taken by the school if truancy behavior is still being carried out is by enforcing discipline through imposing sanctions on students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan terkait pengelolaan bahan pustaka perpustakaan dan strategi pengembangan dalam pengelolaaan di Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Al Muttaqin Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pemilihan subjek penelitian menggunakan purposive sampling sebanyak tiga orang yakni Kepala madrasah, kepala perpustakaan dan siswa. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, yang selanjutnya dianalisis melalui tahapan kondensasi, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan bahan pustaka di MTs Al Muttaqin Surabaya tergolong cukup baik karena telah melakukan kegiatan yang meliputi sudah melakukan kegiatan inventarisasi, klasifikasi, katalogisasi, pembuatan kelengkapan buku, dan penyusunan buku. Namun hambatan dalam pengelolaan tetap ada diantaranya terbatasnya sumber daya manusai dan sarana prasana, sehingga strategi yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi hambatan dalam pengelolaan bahan pustaka di perpustakaan MTs Al Muttaqin Surabaya dilakukan melalui peningkatan dan penguatan pemahaman konsep perpustakaan kepada pustakawan melalui memberikan buku-buku panduan perpustakaan dari pemerintahan kota dan memberikan kesempatan kepada pustakawan untuk melakukan peningkatan kemampuan akadmeik baik melalui jalur formal ataupun non formal.

Abstract

The research aims to analyze the strategies of private Islamic madrasah tsanawyah in responding to both external and internal educational challenges. Through qualitative research-case study at MTs. Hidayatul Muta'alimin Sidoarjo, data were collected by interviews, observations, and document studies. The research subjects were the foundation supervisor and the principal of the madrasah, who were selected purposefully. Data analysis proceeded through stages of data condensation, data display, conclusion drawing, triangulation of subjects, methods, and time as checks on data validity. The results indicate the external challenges faced by MTs. Hidayatul Muta'alimin includes economic, political, information technology, and socio-cultural challenges. The economic strategy adopted is adjusting to the community's purchasing power through affordable costs for quality education. In political and information technology conditions, the madrasah has improved the quality and competence of human resources. In response to socio-cultural challenges, the madrasah accommodates student diversity by providing non-discriminatory best services. The madrasah also addresses internal challenges such as educational funding, infrastructure, graduate competencies, and sustainable education in addressing educational funding by strengthening business units and optimizing assistance and grants. For infrastructure challenges, the madrasah has gradually improved and fulfilled educational infrastructure according to government standards. Regarding graduate competencies, the madrasah designs student soft skills programs and Islamic character formation. For sustainable education, the Madrasah foundation managers establish and organize secondary Madrasah education to accommodate junior high school graduates.

Abstract

This qualitative research aims to provide an overview of the strategy for developing Diniyah Madrasah as an alternative to superior Islamic education at Madrasah Diniyah Raudlatul Ulum Manggisan Lumajang. Data collection methods used interview data, observation and documentation. The selection of research subjects was carried out purposively with two people, namely the head of the madrasah and the teacher, taking into account that they had in-depth information regarding the research object. The results of this research were analyzed descriptively referring to four predetermined strategy categories, namely integration, intensive, diversification and defensive strategies. The research results show that the integration strategy involves collaboration with external parties, expanding networks, and integrating the madrasah curriculum with the government curriculum, which provides positive results. Intensive strategies focus on developing teaching and learning programs, while diversification strategies include updating learning models and methods. Defensive strategies seek to maintain learning traditions and culture. The main supporting factors are competent teachers, support from student guardians and the community, and adequate facilities. However, the challenges include limited teachers, limited learning space, lack of motivation for some teachers to improve their knowledge, and school administration which is still in the stage of improvement.

Abstract

Bangsa Indonesia adalah bangsa yang multikultural dengan keragaman yang terdapat pada beberapa aspek dalam kehidupan, seperti suku, budaya, agama, status sosial dan lain sebagainya. Pada dasarnya multikulturalisme yang dimiliki tersebut bukan hanya bisa menjadi hal potensial dalam pengembangan Bangsa Indonesia, namun di sisi lain juga bisa membawa konflik horizontal yang harus diselesaikan dengan bijak. Konflik yang terjadi pada masyarakat multikultural harus diolah agar bisa membawa pada sebuah proses dinamisasi perubahan ke arah yang konstruktif dan positif, bukan justru mengarah pada suatu tindakan yang destruktif. Penyelesain suatu konflik pada umumnya akan sangat bergantung pada faktor internal dan eksternal. Faktor internal adalah bagaimana pihak-pihak yang berkonflik menyikapi konflik yang dihadapinya, sedangkan faktor eksternal adalah bagaimana pihak luar berperan dalam melakukan penanganan konflik. Untuk itu penting dibuat suatu perencanaan dan langkah tata pengelolaan konflik dalam bentuk pembangunan perdamaian agar masyarakat multikultural tetap terjaga proses dinamisasinya dengan baik. Indonesia is a multicultural nation with diversity in several aspects of life, such as ethnicity, culture, religion, social status and others. Basiclly, multiculturalism that is not only be a potential thing in the development of the Indonesian nation, but also lead to horizontal conflicts that must be resolved wisely. Conflicts that occur in multicultural societies must be processed so that they can lead to a process of dynamizing change in a constructive and positive direction, instead of leading to destructive action. In general, the resolution of a conflict will depend heavily on internal and external factors. The internal factor is how the conflicting parties respond to the conflict they face, while the external factor is how the outsiders play a role in handling conflict. For this reason, it is important to make plans and steps for conflict management in the form of peace building so that the multicultural society is well maintained in its dynamic process

Abstract

This qualitative case study aims to analyze the process of moral enculturation based on Islamic education through Kitab Ta'lim Al-Muta'allim at Pesantren Bustanul Thullab Lamongan. Data collection used interviews, observations, and documentation. The subjects are caregivers, leaders, pesantren administrators, and students selected by purposive sampling. The data were analyzed through data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, by using triangulation as verification. The findings indicate that the process of moral enculturation based on Islamic education through Kitab Ta'lim Al-Muta'allim at Pesantren Bustanul Thullab Lamongan is carried out through learning, role modeling, practice, and habituation. The learning process is conducted by Bandongan, Sorogan, and Musyawarah methods. Role modeling is implemented by having the kiai and teachers set an example for the students. Practical application is achieved through direct implementation in daily behavior. Habituation is carried out by encouraging students to integrate the values taught in Ta'lim Al-Muta'allim into their daily activities.
