Many polemics occur starting from the regulatory side, general implementation, up to technical matters. The birth of new regulations related to the Election was colored by a polemic of the presidential threshold. Law Number 7 of 2017 concerning General Elections as a single regulation at the law level in organizing Elections cannot be separated from controversy. Many people respond to the pros and cons. The pros and cons response is focused on several things, one of which is the presidential threshold. Abstract

Halal product assurance in Indonesia presents challenges requiring correction, particularly concerning (1) conception, (2) implementation, and (3) reconstruction of halal product guarantees. The current concept results in a passive government, dependent on public initiatives. Reconstruction is essential to highlight the active governmental role and reinforce societal engagement. This research formulates the halal product guarantee concept, assesses its Indonesian implementation, and proposes reconstruction for justice and benefit. Employing doctrinal research methods, the study analyses legislation, concepts, history, and cases, utilizing primary and secondary legal materials with documentation as the primary data collection technique. Findings reveal the current halal product assurance concept renders the government passive, prompting a public call for its active involvement. Reconstruction becomes pivotal to prevent controversies. The revamped concept should focus on enhancing community involvement and ensuring an active government role. Community engagement with a uniform understanding is crucial, and the government should actively participate, including empowering investigations. This study contributes conceptual insights, urging an evaluation and reformulation of halal product guarantees, emphasizing the active state role through the government. The recommendations aim to improve the conception of halal product guarantees and foster a more active, inclusive approach to ensure justice and societal well-being.

Abstract

This research investigates the friction and subsequent settlement strategies within party alliances during the 2024 Indonesian presidential election. By examining high-level negotiations and the shifting landscape of candidate nominations, the study interprets these dynamics as essential conflict management within a multiparty framework. Using a qualitative lens, the author analyzed digital media reports through thematic coding to pinpoint how alliances were formed, broken, and rebuilt. The analysis reveals that tension primarily stemmed from a "bottleneck" of available candidates compared to the vast ambitions of party elites. Interestingly, when deadlocks occurred, parties did not simply compromise; they either dissolved the partnership entirely or executed a "strategic pivot" to more promising camps. This fluid movement eventually distilled the political field into three primary blocs: the PDIP-centered axis supporting Ganjar Pranowo, the Prabowo Subianto coalition, and the Anies Baswedan alliance. Ultimately, the study concludes that Indonesian coalitions are defined by pragmatic survival rather than shared ideology, serving as elastic tools for managing elite competition in a modern democracy.
