Abstract

Masyarakat multikultural di Kota Gunungsitoli terdiri dari enam etnis utama Nias, Aceh, Minang, Batak, Jawa, dan Tionghoa serta empat agama: Kristen Protestan, Katolik, Islam, dan Buddha. Keragaman ini telah lama hidup rukun dan damai. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi peran pemerintah dalam mengelola keragaman tersebut serta tantangan yang dihadapi. Salah satu isu penting yang belum terselesaikan adalah belum diakuinya budaya Nias Pesisir hasil akulturasi budaya Nias, Minang, dan Aceh sebagai bagian dari budaya resmi Nias oleh Lembaga Budaya Nias (LBN). Padahal, budaya ini merupakan identitas penting masyarakat Muslim Nias yang mendiami wilayah pesisir. Ketidakpengakuan ini menimbulkan kesan marginalisasi dan kurangnya perhatian pemerintah daerah. Melalui penelitian ini, diharapkan ada dorongan bagi pemerintah Kota Gunungsitoli untuk mengakui budaya Nias Pesisir sebagai warisan budaya yang sah. Pengakuan tersebut penting untuk memperkuat persatuan dan memperkaya identitas kebudayaan masyarakat multikultural di Kota Gunungsitoli.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the values of faith education contained in the book Aujazul Mukhtasharat by Imam Al-Faqih Asy-Syaikh Abdul Aziz bin Ibrahim Ar-Rayyi Al-Habasyi. The research method used is qualitative with a library research approach. Data were obtained from primary data sources, namely the book Aujazul Mukhtasharat published by Sheikh Abdullah bin Ibrahim in 2017, and secondary data sources, namely books and journal articles. The results of the study show that this book contains fundamental faith values, namely faith in Allah, because the most important obligation is to believe in Allah and His Messenger and the most severe (dangerous) kufr is at-ta'thil (denying the existence of Allah) and the worst is riddah. Then faith in angels, His books, the messengers, the last day, and qadha and qadar. The presentation of the material in this book is very concise, dense, and clear, making it easy for students at various levels to understand. Therefore, the book Aujazul Mukhtasharat is highly recommended for use in educational institutions as a teaching material for faith, because it is able to convey the concepts of faith systematically and effectively.

Abstract

This research examines the Islamic education thought of Abdullah Nashih Ulwan, a 20th century educational figure who is influential in the development of contemporary Islamic education. Ulwan offers a holistic concept of education by emphasising the cultivation of tawhid, noble character, balance, and the important role of parents and teachers. The research method used is a literature study by analysing Ulwan's main work, "Tarbiyatul Aulad fil Islam" and other relevant sources. The findings show that despite criticisms, Ulwan's thoughts are still relevant and can be implemented in modern Islamic education by adjusting strategies and methods according to the times. Ulwan emphasized the importance of instilling the values ​​of monotheism, noble morals and balance in children's education from an early age. He recommends effective educational methods, such as example, habituation, advice, educational punishment, and rewards. Apart from that, Ulwan also emphasized the important role of parents and teachers in the child's education process, as well as the importance of physical and social education for children.

Abstract

Focusing on its comprehensive approach to character formation and individual growth, through analysis of the educational thought of Az-Zarnuji, a famous Islamic thinker from the 12th century. The purpose of this article is to examine Az-Zarnuji's writings about education in order to understand his beliefs in educational ideals, pedagogical approaches, and the importance of character education. This study analyzes Az-Zarnuji's main points by utilizing a text analysis and literature review approach. Based on his findings, Az-Zarnuji concluded that educating people to be happy and successful both in this world and the afterlife is the main goal of education. An emphasis on active learning, conversation, and reflection characterizes his pedagogical approach, which integrates theoretical understanding with real-world experience. Az-Zarnuji continued, character education is very important to create ethical and responsible humans. This article examines an educational initiative spearheaded by Az-Zarnuji to spread core ethical principles, including compassion, humility, perseverance, and honesty. The ideas put forward by Az-Zarnuji are very relevant considering modern educational practices. In this essay, we see how Az-Zarnuji's educational philosophy can influence the creation of a character-based curriculum and how teachers can provide the best service to their students by being an inspiration and role model. Teachers can do their part to instill strong moral character and commendable traits in the next generation by familiarizing themselves with Az-Zarnuji's educational philosophy and practicing its teachings.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji kompetensi pendidik dalam diri Mus‘ab bin Umair R.A. dan relevansinya dengan pendidikan modern melalui pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Mus‘ab bin Umair, sebagai pendidik pertama dalam Islam, diutus Rasulullah SAW untuk mengajarkan Al-Qur’an dan syariat Islam di Madinah. Ia berhasil mentransformasi masyarakat melalui pendekatan holistik yang menggabungkan aspek pedagogik, kepribadian, sosial, dan profesional. Penelitian ini menggunakan PRISMA Model dengan menganalisis artikel dari Google Scholar terbitan 10 tahun terakhir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Mus‘ab memiliki empat kompetensi utama sebagaimana disyaratkan oleh Undang-Undang tentang pendidik profesional. Nilai-nilai seperti kesabaran, keteladanan, dan integrasi keilmuan dengan akhlak menjadi relevan untuk diintegrasikan dalam pendidikan modern. Temuan ini memberikan kerangka teoretis dan praktis bagi pengembangan pendidikan Islam di era globalisasi, terutama dalam menghadapi tantangan degradasi moral dan spiritual. Dengan demikian, kisah Mus‘ab dapat menginspirasi pendidik modern untuk menjadi teladan dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik. Kata kunci: kompetensi, pendidikan, mus’ab bin umair

Abstract

Islamic education has become an important focus in the thinking of Hasan Langgulung, a contemporary Muslim scholar who has made significant contributions to the development of Islamic thought. In his view, Islamic education is not just the transfer of religious knowledge, but a holistic process that includes spiritual, intellectual, social and moral aspects. This article reviews key concepts in Hasan Langgulung's thinking regarding Islamic education. Through critical analysis of his works, this abstract highlights the importance of Islamic education as an instrument for forming people with integrity, competence, and the ability to contribute positively to society. By understanding Hasan Langgulung's thoughts on Islamic education, we can enrich our insight in an effort to improve the education system that is more inclusive and oriented towards Islamic values. Islamic education, as a concept that combines Islamic religious values ​​with the educational process, has become the subject of significant attention in the world of education. In this context, Hasan Langgulung's thoughts are the main focus. Langgulung, a prominent Muslim intellectual, has made substantial contributions in formulating the conceptual framework and practice of holistic Islamic education. Langgulung emphasized the importance of education that not only prioritizes academic aspects, but also the formation of character who has faith and noble morals. His thoughts also highlight the need for integration between religious and general knowledge, as well as the importance of teachers as role models and mentors for students.

Abstract

In the past, the habit of writing among ulama was deeply rooted in various scientific disciplines, especially religious sciences. No doubt, it is this habit of writing that has encouraged the rapid development of knowledge in Islamic education. Therefore, this scientific study aims to examine in more depth the thoughts on Islamic education based on the work written by Prof. Dr. Ramli Abdul Wahid, MA. This scientific study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method with PRISMA analysis. The results of the analysis state that in his perspective, Prof. Ramli views Islamic education as education based on the Al-Qur'an and Hadith. However, the delay in the study of hadith in Indonesia has had a significant impact on the progress of thinking among Muslims. This is because Islamic education, especially the science of hadith, is very closely related to the living conditions of Muslims in every era or civilization. Therefore, awareness and the active role of various parties and contemporary Islamic educational institutions are urgently needed, so that they can become a means of developing and studying Islamic education in Indonesia

Abstract

Studies related to Islamic educational thought in Indonesia are still very much focused on national Islamic intellectual figures and Islamic classical figures. This raises a problem, namely the very limited development of Islamic education studies in Indonesia. Therefore, it is necessary to study the thoughts on Islamic education from other Islamic intellectual figures, especially Muslim intellectual figures whose identities and specific thoughts are rarely highlighted or whose identities and specific thoughts have not yet been revealed. Therefore, this scientific study aims to examine in more depth the thoughts on Islamic education from the perspective of Prof. Dr. Dja'far Siddik, MA. This scientific study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method with PRISMA analysis. The results of the analysis state that in his perspective, Prof. Djas has a quite different perspective compared to the perspective of other Muslim intellectual figures regarding Islamic education. Abstract

Problems related to Islamic economic management in Islamic educational institutions are very rarely discussed. Financial management of Islamic educational institutions has a strategic role and is one of the factors that determines the implementation of quality learning. Therefore, this scientific study aims to examine in more depth the perspective of Prof. Dr. Amiur Nuruddin, MA regarding sharia economic management in Islamic educational institutions. This scientific study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method with PRISMA analysis. The results of the analysis state that in his perspective, Prof. Dr. Amiur Nuruddin, MA. not only views sharia economic management as something that exists in the economic sector but also in the educational sector. Good and ideal sharia economic management will have a significant influence on the development of the quality of Islamic educational institutions. Apart from that, it also has a big influence on welfare and national development based on Islamic law
