Abstract

This study aims to analyze the marketing feasibility and application of the marketing mix (4P: product, price, place, and promotion) in the operation of Toserba 35 Hidayah, a local retail enterprise in Lima Puluh Kota, West Sumatra. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and document review to assess the firm’s competitive position and market strategy. The findings indicate that the business demonstrates strong marketing feasibility supported by product diversity, strategic location, competitive pricing, and customer-oriented service. However, the promotional strategy remains traditional, relying primarily on word-of-mouth, indicating the need for digital marketing adoption to expand market reach. The study concludes that integrating modern marketing practices—particularly social media engagement and customer loyalty programs—would enhance competitiveness and sustainability. Theoretically, this research reinforces the role of the marketing mix as a determinant of micro-enterprise performance and highlights the importance of adaptive marketing innovation in the Indonesian retail sector.

Abstract

This study explores the dynamics of corporate finance research in global scientific literature from 2000 to 2024 using a bibliometric approach. By analyzing keyword co-occurrence and citation data, the research identifies key themes, emerging trends, and influential contributors in corporate finance. Core topics such as capital structure, cost management, and debt remain central, reflecting traditional corporate finance priorities. However, newer areas, including corporate social responsibility (CSR), corporate cash holdings, and behavioral finance, have gained prominence, signaling a shift towards integrating non-financial factors into corporate strategies. The study also highlights the lasting impact of global financial crises, particularly the 2008 crisis, on shaping research in financial distress, risk management, and institutional roles. These insights provide a comprehensive overview of the evolution of corporate finance research and offer directions for future studies.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has profoundly impacted the manufacturing industry, offering transformative potential to enhance production process efficiency. This paper presents a systematic literature review of AI applications in the manufacturing sector, focusing on key AI technologies such as machine learning, robotics, predictive analytics, and natural language processing. The review highlights how these technologies have improved quality control, resource management, and overall operational performance. However, the adoption of AI also presents challenges, including significant investment costs, the need for a skilled workforce, and concerns over data security and privacy. Despite these challenges, the integration of AI in manufacturing presents numerous opportunities for future research and innovation, particularly in the areas of sustainable manufacturing and the convergence of AI with other emerging technologies. This study concludes that while AI offers substantial benefits for production efficiency, its successful implementation requires careful strategic planning and investment in both technology and human resources.
