Abstract

This research aims to explore the transformation of organizational communication of the Medan City Government by integrating Islamic values to create an advanced and conducive society. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method, which focuses on a deep understanding of the subject's experience in a natural context. Primary data were collected through non-participant observations, while secondary data were obtained through relevant literature reviews. Data analysis follows the Miles and Huberman model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn, with data validity tested through triangulation techniques. The results of the study show that the transformation of communication based on Islamic values in the Medan City Government has strengthened transparency, public participation, and public trust in the government. However, there are challenges in maintaining inclusivity and increasing community involvement in the decision-making process. On the other hand, the use of digital technology provides a great opportunity to expand the reach of communication and strengthen the relationship between the government and the community.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the phenomenon of feminist propaganda on the TikTok platform as a representation of the dynamics of Gen Z women's identity and expression in the era of Society 5.0. Through descriptive qualitative methods and content analysis, this study examines feminist narratives that appear in video content and accompanying digital interactions. The results of the study show that TikTok is not only an entertainment space, but also a discursive arena that forms a collective awareness of gender equality issues. However, in practice, most of the narratives circulating have shifted from the essence of inclusive feminism to ideologically biased forms of sensational expression, such as reverse sexism, patriarchal generalizations, and the imposition of moral standards. This phenomenon creates tension between the values of digital freedom of expression and the principle of equality in Islam. This research recommends the need for digital literacy based on spirituality and manners so that the digital space is not only a vehicle for ideological struggle, but also a means of da'wah that builds a just civilization. Thus, feminist propaganda needs to be critically reviewed so that it does not shift into value extremism that is counterproductive to the ideals of gender justice in an Islamic perspective.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas dinamika modernisasi pendidikan Islam yang berfokus pada pembaruan kurikulum dan pelestarian nilai-nilai tradisional. Modernisasi pendidikan Islam menjadi kebutuhan strategis dalam menghadapi tantangan globalisasi dan perkembangan zaman, yang menuntut lembaga pendidikan Islam untuk mengintegrasikan ilmu pengetahuan umum dan keterampilan abad ke-21 tanpa mengabaikan nilai-nilai keislaman. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan kepustakaan untuk menganalisis literatur, dokumen kebijakan, dan hasil penelitian terdahulu terkait modernisasi pendidikan Islam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembaruan kurikulum yang adaptif dan inovatif dapat meningkatkan relevansi pendidikan Islam, sementara pelestarian nilai-nilai tradisional seperti adab, akhlak, dan kearifan lokal tetap menjadi fondasi moral dan spiritual yang harus dijaga. Keberhasilan modernisasi sangat bergantung pada peran tenaga pendidik sebagai agen perubahan sekaligus penjaga nilai, serta sinergi antara berbagai pemangku kepentingan dalam merumuskan kebijakan pendidikan yang inklusif dan responsif. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa modernisasi pendidikan Islam bukanlah proses yang menghilangkan tradisi, melainkan sebuah upaya integratif yang mengharmonisasikan inovasi dan konservasi nilai untuk menghasilkan generasi muslim yang cerdas, berkarakter, dan siap menghadapi tantangan masa depan

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to find out how the theological, philosophical, sociological and political backgrounds of the birth of the integration of the sciences of religion and science, and its future. This writing uses the method of literature review. Literature review contains reviews, summaries, and written thoughts about several sources of literature (can be in the form of articles, books, slides, information, the internet, etc.), about the topics discussed. The results of the research show that the birth of the integration of religion and science has a background that can be analyzed from various aspects starting from theological, philosophical, sociological and political aspects. The future of the integration of religion and science depends on the seriousness of all stakeholders in the world of Islamic education in implementing all the approaches to the integration of religion and science. In line with that,Indonesian Muslim thinkers have designed a conception of scientific integration with an emphasis on the epistemological aspect, in addition to the ontological aspect,the following are their conceptions of thought which are grouped based on the common thread of the main ideas, namely: (a) Integrative-Interconnective Approach Model (Net Profit), (b) Islamic Objectification Model, and (c) Holistic Integration Model.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss philosophical thought of Islamic education (essentialism).. This research is a library research, namely research that originates from library materials using a qualitative approach. The results of the study show that essentialism is a philosophical school that wants humans to return to old culture. There are several advantages and disadvantages of essentialism, namely: a) Essentialism helps to return subject matter to the educational process, but does not support perennialism. that the true subject matter is the eternal reality presented in the great books of western civilization, b) the Great Book can be used but not for themselves but to be related to current realities, and c) change is a unchangeable reality in social life. The weaknesses are a) schools are not allowed to influence or determine social policies, b) essentialist thinkers generally do not have a unified line because they are guided by different philosophies, and c) the teacher's role is very dominant as someone who controls the field, and is a model very good. The general views of essentialist philosophy, namely: a) Ontological views (reality), b) Epistemological views (views of knowledge), c) Axiological views (views of values), and d) Views on education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk menyelidiki strategi untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan ideologis dan yuridis dengan menggunakan perspektif teologis dan historis. Latar belakang utama dari penelitian ini adalah memudarnya pemahaman terhadap ideologi Pancasila dan hukum konstitusional di tengah pergolakan digital dan globalisasi. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu kepustakaan dengan menggunakan pendekatan analisis isi terhadap berbagai sumber literatur ilmiah terkait adalah metodologi yang digunakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa memasukkan prinsip-prinsip spiritual dan sejarah perjuangan negara ke dalam kebijakan publik dan sistem pendidikan dapat meningkatkan kecerdasan ideologi dan hukum, karena metode historis menyoroti pentingnya belajar dari dinamika sejarah hukum dan ideologi nasional, sedangkan pendekatan teologis menekankan pentingnya kualitas moral dan spiritual dalam memahami ideologi dan hukum. Selain itu mereformasi pendidikan, mempromosikan literasi hukum, memperkuat kurikulum pendidikan Islam, dan kolaborasi dengan organisasi Islam maupun para cendekiawan Islam dapat membentuk generasi yang berideologi kuat dan taat hukum.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in reducing the unemployment rate in Langkat Regency. MSMEs have long been considered a sector that is able to absorb a large number of workers, especially in areas with minimal large-scale industrial investment. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method of 100 MSME actors in 10 sub-districts. The variables studied include the number of MSMEs, government support, access to capital, and unemployment rates. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression, validity tests, reliability tests, and classical assumption tests. The results of the study indicate that the number of MSMEs has a significant and negative effect on the unemployment rate, meaning that an increase in the number of MSMEs can reduce unemployment in Langkat Regency. Meanwhile, the variables of government support and access to capital do not have a significant effect. These findings indicate the need for strengthening more targeted policies in supporting MSMEs, either through financing, training, or regulations that facilitate the growth of small businesses. Thus, MSMEs have proven to have great potential as a strategic solution in overcoming unemployment at the local level.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of marketing management strategies and economic factors on the sales growth of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia using multiple regression analysis. The variables analyzed include product strategy, pricing, promotion, distribution, inflation, interest rates, and per capita income. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis involving selected MSME owners and relevant secondary sources. The results reveal that all variables have a significant impact on sales growth, with per capita income and promotional strategies showing the strongest influence. The analysis also indicates that internal business strategies, when aligned with favorable macroeconomic conditions, contribute to consistent sales increases. Additionally, the adoption of digital marketing tools and improved access to financial resources have strengthened MSMEs' competitiveness in the marketplace. The study underscores the importance of a holistic approach that integrates both marketing strategies and economic trend monitoring for sustainable MSME growth. These findings offer practical implications for policymakers and business owners in designing strategies that support MSME development in dynamic economic environments. Further research is recommended to include a broader sample and explore sector-specific trends for deeper insights.

Abstract

Digital Marketing Strategy Training for Micro and Small Business Actors in Bagan Percut aims to improve digital literacy and marketing skills of MSME actors in utilizing technology to expand market reach and increase business competitiveness. This activity involved 30 business actors from various sectors, such as culinary, handicrafts, and services. The results of the training showed an increase in participants' digital literacy, ability to produce more attractive promotional content, and success in expanding market reach. As many as 60% of participants reported increased interaction on their business's social media, while 50% succeeded in getting new customers. The results of this training show that digital marketing strategies can be an effective solution for MSME actors in facing challenges in the digital era, while contributing to local economic development.

Abstract

Optimizing time management is an important aspect in the lives of students in Islamic boarding schools, where good time management can improve the quality of learning, worship, and student welfare. This service aims to improve students' time management through the implementation of an effective daily activity schedule. Through initial observations, it was found that many students had difficulty in managing their time in a structured manner. Therefore, this activity involved compiling a daily activity schedule that included time for studying, worship, rest, and social activities. The implementation of the schedule was carried out for one month and was evaluated through interviews and observations. The results showed that students felt more disciplined, organized, and had more optimal time to study and rest. However, several improvements related to the duration of rest and flexibility of study time still need to be made. Overall, the implementation of a daily activity schedule has proven effective in helping students optimize their time management in Islamic boarding schools.
