Abstract

PT Navia Persada Abadi operates in the field of fuel oil distribution and transportation services, facing obstacles in managing personnel data which is still manual, such as absenteeism recaps, leave applications and recruitment. This leads to processes that are inefficient and prone to errors. To overcome this problem, a web-based personnel information system was designed using the Rational Unified Process (RUP) method. This system includes features for managing employee data, attendance, recruitment, leave, reward & punishment, promotion and demotion. The implementation of a PHP and MySQL based system is expected to increase efficiency, accuracy and transparency in personnel management in the company. With this system, PT Navia Persada Abadi can increase operational productivity and provide better service to employees.

Abstract

The increasing demand for efficient, transparent, and adaptive energy storage systems presents a significant challenge in supporting the global transition to renewable energy. This study presents the development of an Internet of Things (IoT)-based control system designed to optimize intelligent energy storage management. The system is built around an ESP32 microcontroller and integrates voltage, current, and temperature sensors, alongside wireless communication modules, all connected to a web-based dashboard for real-time monitoring. A dynamic control algorithm is employed to enhance the efficiency of the charging and discharging processes. Experimental results show a charging efficiency of 95% and a discharging efficiency of 94.74%, accompanied by a low data latency of 120 ms. The monitoring sensors demonstrate exceptional accuracy, with deviations within ±1% for voltage and current, and ±2°C for temperature, surpassing conventional systems. Compared to traditional approaches, the IoT-based system offers significant improvements in operational efficiency, data accuracy, and transparency in energy management. These findings highlight the potential of IoT integration in electronic control systems as an innovative solution for smart, efficient, and reliable energy storage. Future research should focus on scaling the system for industrial applications and incorporating artificial intelligence to predict performance and adapt system conditions in real-time

Abstract

Panel data regression is a robust method for analyzing relationships between dependent and independent variables by combining time-series and cross-sectional data. Its reliability hinges on key assumptions, particularly homoscedasticity. Violations, known as heteroscedasticity, lead to inefficient estimates and biased inference, as estimators fail to meet the Best Linear Unbiased Estimator criteria. The Weighted Least Squares (WLS) method addresses heteroscedasticity by weighting observations based on the inverse of their variance. WLS assumes prior knowledge of the heteroscedasticity structure, which is often impractical, creating gap in evaluating its effectiveness compared to alternative methods. The purpose of this study is to examines life expectancy in South Sulawesi as the dependent variable, with expected years of schooling, per capita expenditure, and average years of schooling as independent variables. The research methode used WLS with reasonable weighting, successfully addressing heteroscedasticity. The fixed-effects model was identified as the most appropriate, with an R-squared of 99.45%. Life expectancy was explained by the model. Results shows all variables positively and significantly influence life expectancy. In conclusion, the WLS method effectively overcomes heteroscedasticity in panel data regression, providing reliable estimators. This study highlights the importance of method selection in panel data analysis and offers insights for policymakers aiming to improve life expectancy in South Sulawesi.

Abstract

School counselors are not yet adequately informed about career services, have limitations in career service methods, and lack the use of effective tools such as the RIASEC (Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, and Conventional) Test. This, in turn, reduces the effectiveness of the services provided. The identification of students' interests and talents presents a significant challenge for school counselors. The preponderance of students electing majors or further studies that are not congruent with their aptitudes constitutes an additional problem. The methodology employed in this community service activity entailed training in the application and administration of the RIASEC test. This training was conducted through lectures and hands-on practice, and was attended by 11 teachers, including school counselors, subject teachers, and class advisors. The results of the hands-on exercise in the utilization and administration of the RIASEC test indicated that nine individuals exhibited a propensity for a social career personality, while two individuals demonstrated a proclivity for a conventional career personality. This finding suggests that the utilization and administration of the RIASEC test are not challenging, as the instrument is quite straightforward.

Abstract

Jalan Sungai Kakap"“Punggur merupakan infrastruktur penting di Kabupaten Kubu Raya yang mengalami penurunan kualitas akibat tingginya volume lalu lintas dan kondisi tanah gambut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat kerusakan jalan dan memberikan rekomendasi penanganan yang tepat. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan dua pendekatan: International Roughness Index (IRI) dengan aplikasi Roadroid untuk mengukur ketidakrataan permukaan, dan Surface Distress Index (SDI) melalui survei visual untuk mengidentifikasi kerusakan fisik. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif pada ruas jalan sepanjang 4 km yang terdiri dari dua bagian: pertama, ruas jalan Sungai Raya Dalam "“ Punggur sepanjang ±0,45 km yang dan dilanjutkan dengan ruas jalan Sungai Kakap "“ Punggur penelitian sepanjang ±3,55 km sebagai tinjauan. Hasil menunjukkan kerusakan utama berupa lubang (2,952%) dan retak (1,435%). Nilai IRI menunjukkan kondisi jalan bervariasi dari "Baik" (IRI 2,44), "Sedang" (IRI 5,98 dan 5,59), hingga "Rusak Ringan" (IRI 9,31). Sementara itu, SDI mengklasifikasikan tiga dari empat subruas sebagai "Rusak Berat" (SDI 235), dan satu subruas sebagai "Sedang" (SDI 85). Perbedaan hasil ini menghasilkan rekomendasi berbeda: IRI menyarankan pemeliharaan rutin dan berkala, sedangkan SDI merekomendasikan peningkatan atau rekonstruksi. Kombinasi kedua metode memberikan gambaran lebih menyeluruh tentang kondisi jalan, yang penting dalam menentukan strategi pemeliharaan yang lebih tepat sasaran dan efisien.
