Abstract

The use of Indonesian by the general public today is still very inappropriate. The phenomenon of language use in public spaces which includes many spelling errors, vocabulary and Indonesian structure. Good and correct use of Indonesian is often hindered by the presence of other languages. Researchers will try to explain the form of non-compliance from the mandate of Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 24 of 2019 concerning "Flag, Language, and National Emblem, as well as the National Anthem". The method used, namely qualitative methods, is descriptive. The sources taken from this study amounted to 5 places with the use of foreign languages and inappropriate words. The results of this study show that there are violations of laws regarding language caused by several things, including incorrect grammar, improper grammar in certain circumstances, using foreign terms even though there are equivalents in Indonesian, translating foreign languages at will. So the names of institutions, businesses, shops, areas, buildings, etc. often use foreign languages exclusively because of socioeconomic and commercial points of view.

Abstract

This research was motivated by a response to educators' efforts to implement innovative learning methods, namely the drill method in learning to read and write Javanese script. The drill method is applied to overcome the difficulties experienced by high class MI students in mastering the skills of reading and writing Javanese script. The aim of this research is to describe the implementation process of learning to read and write Javanese script using the drill method at madrasah ibtidaiyah. This research is based on behavioristic learning theory. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative field research method. This research uses observation, interviews and documentation in data collection. The research was conducted on students in the VC MI Ma'arif NU Banteran class for the 2023/2024 academic year. To check the validity of the data in this research, source triangulation and technical triangulation were used. The results of the research reveal that the implementation of the drill method in learning to read and write Javanese script is divided into three stages, namely the planning stage including preparation of lesson plans, preparing students before learning, having complete learning facilities and selecting appropriate methods and evaluation techniques; the implementation stage includes preliminary activities in the form of learningapperception; The core activities consist of introducing Javanese script, practicing writing Javanese script repeatedly, reading simple texts, and composing simple sentences using various techniques or strategies, such as opening or closing books, using interesting learning media, group games, and a student pointing system.; closing activities in the form of drawing conclusions about the material; then the evaluation stage includes written tests and oral test.

Abstract

Social life always forms such diverse activities, it is because community groups form the same consciousness as several people so that they form social groups. This research will discuss the variations of language used by the transvestite group in the movie "Lovely Man". The focus of this research is to find out the use of waria language in the movie "Lovely Man" and analyze the meaning and meaning of the variety of languages used. The method used is a descriptive qualitative method. The method is used by researchers to analyze in depth the phenomenon that occurs. The results showed that there were 10 variations of jargon used by the transvestite group in the movie "Lovely Man". The variation of the jargon can occur due to the social and psychological conditions of the transvestites. Transvestites prefer to use non-standard vocabulary so that many basic words are changed by them into variations that are typical among transvestites.

Abstract

Campaign activities are a moment that is very much used by each candidate pair. Each pair of candidates will try to convince the public to vote for them. The process of conveying ideas will not be successful if you do not use interesting communication methods. The purpose of this study is to find out what types of speech acts are used by the pair of candidates for Governor of Banten while running the campaign. The method used is qualitative. Data was obtained using the note-and-listen technique. In addition, the data analysis technique in this study has many stages, such as data collection, presentation of raw data, data reduction, data categorization, and making conclusions from tested data. The findings in this study show that there are five speech acts used, such as assertive, declarative, commissive, directive, and expressive speech acts.

Abstract

Brawls between students that occur between students in educational institutions make the moral quality of students worse. Moral education can be done from an early age as a foundation for further education. One way is done with stories arranged in fables. This study aims to describe the moral values ​​contained in the Collection of Friendship Fables by Chandra Wening to be interpreted and taught to children. The research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The object of this research is the stories contained in the Friendship Fable Collection. Data collection applies library techniques, listening techniques, and note-taking techniques. The data in the study were analyzed using content analysis techniques. The results showed that the moral values ​​contained in the Friendship Fable Collection by Chandra Wening consist of religious moral values ​​and social-moral values. Religious moral values ​​include patience and hard work. While social moral values ​​include: help, respect, and affection. This research contributes to understanding and practicing how moral education to everyday life from an early age.

Abstract

Pemilu serentak merupakan gabungan antara pemilu legislatif dan pemilu Presiden yang dilaksanakan secara serentak, hal ini merupakan tindak lanjut dari Putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi Nomor 14/PUU-XI/2013. Dalam kenyataannya, pemilih pada Pemilu 2024 berasal dari Generasi Z dan Milenial, sekitar 55%. Untuk itu, generasi muda penting tidak hanya mengenali, menganalisis, memeriksa visi dan misi serta program yang ditawarkan peserta pemilu, termasuk partai politik, caleg, calon presiden dan wakil presiden, namun juga ikut membantu Komisi Pemilihan Umum dalam proses pelaksanaan Pemilu 2024. Pemilih muda dalam pemilu diharapkan menjadi pemilih yang cerdas, hal ini memiliki korelasi dengan fikih good governance. Fikih good governance merupakan bagian dari fiqh siyāsah, karena semua kebijakan yang diambil oleh pemerintah bersumber dari hasil pemikiran manusia untuk merealisasikan kesejahteraan rakyat, penegakan hukum dan agar dijauhkan dari kerusakan. Cara pandang pemilih muda dalam memilih pemimpin yang jujur, anti korupsi dan memperjuangkan negara utama atau bahagia seperti disampaikan oleh Abū Naṣr al-Farābi. Negara utama merupakan negara yang pelembagaannya membutuhkan kerjasama dari semua warganya dan kepemimpinan yang kuat dari seorang penguasa berbudi luhur yang pengetahuannya telah membimbingnya dan penduduknya tolong menolong untuk memperoleh kebahagiaan yang diibaratkan seperti badan yang sehat. Negara utama tersusun dari bagian-bagian yang berbeda yang saling memenuhi. Adapun kontestasi dan dinamika pemilu 2024 dapat dipahami adanya persaingan dan perebutan suara, baik dari calon Presiden maupun legislatif. Kontestasi ini harus dilakukan dengan sportif. Dalam hal dinamika, ada pembaruan pemilu yang dulu secara terpisah sekarang secara langsung dan serentak. Adanya kebaruan ini merupakan keniscayaan dalam negara demokratis. Simultaneous elections is a combination of legislative and presidential election held simultaneously, This is a follow-up to the Constitutional Court Decision Number 14/PUU-XI/2013. In reality, voters in the 2024 Election come from Generation Z and Millennials, around 55%. For this reason, it is important for the younger generation not only to recognize, analyze, examine the vision and mission and programs offered by election participants, including political parties, legislative candidates, presidential and vice presidential candidates, but also to help the General Election Commission in the process of implementing the 2024 elections. Young voters in elections are expected to be intelligent voters, this has a correlation with good governance fiqh. Good governance fiqh is part of siyāsah fiqh, because all policies taken by the government originate from the results of human thought to realize people's welfare, enforce the law and prevent damage. The perspective of young voters in choosing leaders who are honest, anti-corruption and strive for a premier or happy country as conveyed by Abū Naṣr al-Farābi. The main country is a country whose institution requires the cooperation of all its citizens and the strong leadership of a virtuous ruler whose knowledge has guided him and his people to help them achieve happiness which is likened to a healthy body. The main state is composed of different parts that fulfill each other. As for the contestation and dynamics of the 2024 election, it can be understood that there will be competition and competition for votes, both from presidential and legislative candidates. This contest must be carried out with sportsmanship. In terms of dynamics, there is a renewal of elections which used to be separate now directly and simultaneously. This newness is a necessity in a democratic country.

Di era digital, menumbuhkan minat membaca siswa menjadi tantangan yang semakin kompleks, diperlukan strategi yang efektif dalam lingkungan pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) dalam meningkatkan minat baca siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif, yang melibatkan observasi, pre-test dan post-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan GLS di SDN Daru 1 belum memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap peningkatan minat dan kemampuan membaca siswa, yang ditunjukkan oleh penurunan skor rata-rata post-test sebesar -18,39 dibandingkan pre-test. Kurangnya variasi buku, keterbatasan fasilitas, serta rendahnya antusiasme siswa menjadi faktor yang menghambat efektivitas program ini. Kegiatan literasi yang diterapkan kurang menarik dan tidak sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa, sehingga tidak mampu meningkatkan keterampilan membaca secara optimal. Observasi mengungkap bahwa perencanaan dan pelaksanaan program masih perlu diperbaiki, terutama dalam penyediaan sumber daya dan metode pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan perbaikan dalam perencanaan program, peningkatan dukungan dari berbagai pemangku kepentingan, serta adaptasi metode yang lebih menarik agar GLS dapat efektif dalam meningkatkan budaya membaca di kalangan siswa. Kesimpulannya, meskipun GLS memiliki potensi besar, implementasinya harus lebih terstruktur dan relevan dengan kebutuhan siswa untuk mencapai hasil yang optimal.

Kesimpulannya, meskipun GLS memiliki potensi besar, implementasinya harus lebih terstruktur dan relevan dengan kebutuhan siswa untuk mencapai hasil yang optimal.

Abstract

The Scientific Work Week of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Syekh Yusuf Islamic University is an activity to strengthen student leadership and the habituation of writing scientific papers among students. Awareness of the culture of writing must always be strengthened, especially among the academic community so that they are not only consumers of information but also producers of thoughts, ideas and concepts that are expressed in written form and are effectively useful in society. This activity lasts for three days with various experts explaining the material according to their respective fields. The steps of this activity are such as leadership strengthening material by experts/organizational activists and material on writing scientific papers by lecturers who have an extraordinary track record of scientific work, then students are divided into several groups with the final assignment given the task of writing an article along with their respective supervisors. Post-activity mentoring for the article assignment is carried out by the post-activity supervisor until the results of the written work made by the group are published in an indexed national journal.

Abstract

Keterampilan Staf Tata Usaha (TU) dalam menyelesaikan berbagai macam dokumen sangat diperlukan. Di SMA Mustika Al-Mujannah tidak sedikit Staf Tata Usaha yang masih kurang dalam penguasaan secara penulisan yang baik dan benar untuk membuat dokumen resmi seperti surat-menyurat. Hal tersebut terjadi karena kurangnya pengetahuan dan latar belakang akademis mengenai penulisan surat dinas. Permasalahan yang ditemukan terdapat bentuk kesalahan dalam penulisan surat dinas, seperti penggunaan huruf kapital, penggunaan tanda baca, penomoran surat, pemilihan kata, dan penggunaan kata tugas. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kualitas individu atau kelompok melalui pengembangan keterampilan dan pemahaman tentang penulisan surat dinas yang lebih baik. Hasil kegiatan yang dilakukan sebagai berikut : a) dapat memberikan motivasi dan persepsi baru tentang penulisan surat dinas dengan baik dan benar; b) Kemampuan menulis surat dinas Staf Tata Usaha (TU) mengalami peningkatan. Kesimpulan pada kegiatan ini yaitu program coaching clinic penulisan surat dinas yang dilakukan sukses dan berjalan lancar.
