Abstract

Bogor Regency has undergone rapid industrialization and urban growth, raising concerns about deteriorating air quality and its health impacts. This study aims to analyze the spatial distribution of urban expansion and its relationship with air pollution levels between 2018 and 2023. Using Sentinel-5P and Sentinel-2A satellite imagery processed via Google Earth Engine (GEE), the research maps changes in land use and monitors key pollutants such as nitrogen dioxide (NO₂) and sulfur dioxide (SO₂). The Air Pollution Standard Index (ISPU) is used to classify air quality conditions. The results indicate a notable increase (16%) in urban areas, with population density rising from 178 to 180 inhabitants per hectare, and a shift toward higher pollution categories, with significant portions of the region now classified as "Unhealthy" increased from 17% in 2018 to 31% in 2023. The urban growth model demonstrated high accuracy (92.5%) and strong alignment with local monitoring data. Model evaluation showed a Mean Absolute Error (MAE) of 1.295 µg/m³ and Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) of 1.478 µg/m³, demonstrating strong agreement between predicted and observed data from the Bogor Regency Environmental Agency. These findings highlight the need for integrated urban planning and effective air quality management to reduce future health risks in Bogor Regency.

Abstract

Perekaman citra satelit di wilayah tropis, seperti Indonesia, sering mengalami penurunan kualitas akibat gangguan (noise), salah satunya adalah tutupan awan yang menghalangi objek dan menghilangkan detail informasi penting. Pada citra satelit Moderate-resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS), keterbatasan jumlah band spektral tanpa band thermal menjadi tantangan tersendiri dalam mendeteksi awan dan bayangannya. Penelitian ini mengusulkan penerapan metode cloud masking berbasis Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) 2D untuk mengidentifikasi dan menghilangkan awan, diikuti dengan proses image fusion untuk memperoleh citra bebas awan. Transformasi wavelet membagi citra beresolusi tinggi menjadi koefisien frekuensi rendah (LL) dan tinggi (HL, HH, LH), dimana komponen LL digantikan oleh citra multispektral yang telah di-resample. Evaluasi kinerja metode dilakukan menggunakan confusion matrix yang menghasilkan akurasi global mencapai 99% dengan commission error terendah pada kelas bayangan awan (0,001) dan omission error terendah pada kelas darat dan laut (0). Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa metode DWT-2D mampu mendeteksi awan dan bayangannya secara efektif, sehingga berpotensi meningkatkan kualitas pemanfaatan citra MODIS di wilayah tropis.

Abstract

The development of artificial intelligence technology has opened up new opportunities in the world of education, especially for vocational high school students who need digital skills to compete in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. However, the implementation of this technology still faces challenges such as low digital literacy and limited infrastructure. This study aims to provide training on artificial intelligence applications (ChatGPT, Gamma, and Bing Image Creator) in improving the digital competence of SMK Taman Siswa Bogor students. The training method uses a participatory approach with three main stages: preparation (needs analysis, material preparation), implementation (theoretical training, direct practice, and case studies), and evaluation (pre-test, post-test, and interview). Participants consisted of 18 students and 2 teachers. Data analysis was carried out quantitatively (statistical tests). The results showed a significant increase in understanding the concept of artificial intelligence (from 32.4% to 78.6%) and mastery of applications (82% for ChatGPT, 79% Gamma, 71% Bing Image Creator). In addition to technical aspects, 88% of participants reported increased motivation to learn and 41% showed interest in technology-based careers. Key challenges included limited infrastructure (23% network issues) and varying participant abilities, which were successfully addressed through differentiated learning approaches and the use of personal devices.

Abstract

The research conducted in Cibuntu Village, Ciampea District, presents an innovative solution to combat environmental issues such as flooding and pollution caused by improper waste management in water channels. This initiative is manifested through the development and utilization of a Trash Filter Device (TFD). The TFD, a tangible outcome of collaborative efforts and careful planning, addresses the pressing problem of garbage accumulation within water channels, which has been a significant contributor to the recurring issue of flooding, not only in Cibuntu Village but also in many rural areas, including those in Indonesia. Floods, beyond their material losses, pose a severe threat to natural ecosystems, and thus, it is imperative to find effective and sustainable solutions to tackle garbage accumulation within these channels. The TFD offers a promising solution by intercepting and preventing waste from entering the water channels. The research process encompasses several systematic steps. It begins with a preliminary study, including the identification of water channel locations in Cibuntu Village and the collection of historical flood data. The TFD is then meticulously designed to meet the specific needs of the village, utilizing appropriate materials and technology while considering production costs and maintenance estimates. The TFD installation took place in designated water channels and underwent rigorous testing to monitor its trash-catching performance. Simultaneously, surveys were conducted among the local community to gauge their satisfaction and understanding of the TFD. The collected data, both from testing and surveys, were comprehensively analyzed to provide valuable insights and recommendations for TFD implementation and potential policy implications. This research contributes positively to addressing flood challenges and environmental pollution at the local level. By adopting the TFD technology and considering its social and economic aspects, this initiative not only presents a tangible solution but also empowers communities to actively participate in mitigating environmental issues. It is anticipated that this research will serve as a model for similar communities facing similar challenges, ultimately leading to cleaner and flood-free environments.

Abstract

Development in an area must pay attention to the socio-economic conditions of the community such as the level of education, health and economic facilities as well as other factors. The development of this region cannot be separated from the regional spatial planning, this is very necessary to realize a balanced development. Bogor Regency is one of the regencies whose development is currently quite developed, the increase in population causes a reduction in land with vegetation cover to become built-up areas, from the increase in built-up land it causes an increase in temperature in Bogor Regency. Conditions like this can cause temperatures in urban areas to be much higher than in villages due to vegetation factors. From this background, how to analyze the pattern of changes in surface temperature using the GIS web-based Google Earth Engine in the Ciseeng, Gunung Sindur, Kemang, Parung, Parungpanjang, Rancabungur and Rumpin Districts. Therefore it is necessary to analyze the pattern of changes in surface temperature using the GIS web-based Google Earth Engine in the Ciseeng, Gunung Sindur, Kemang, Parung, Parungpanjang, Rancabungur and Rumpin sub-districts and create an information system about mapping surface temperature change patterns using the GIS web-based Google Earth Engine. . The results showed that the average surface temperature reached 25?C, this analysis used the Google Earth Engine in order to find out temperature changes in the Ciseeng, Gunung Sindur, Kemang, Parung, Parungpanjang, Rancabungur and Rumpin sub-districts in 2002, 2008, 2014 and 2019. With that, it can be seen that the highest temperature level was in 2008 with a temperature of 34?C.

Abstract

Management of pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) in Bogor City is still a priority in health care. The high number of TB cases in the Lawang Gintung Health Center area in the 2017-2019 period reached 126 new cases. Where the most new cases were in the Muarasari Village with a total of 52 new cases of TB. This research method uses the spatial interpolation method to determine the distribution of climate and its association with the incidence of new cases of pulmonary TB. Through the development of spatial interpolation GIS, it is known that the pattern of distribution of cases per month in the area of ??the Public Health Center in terms of the relationship between climate and the development of new cases of TB in the area of ??the Lawang Gintung public Health center. Incidence Rate in the region public Health center Lawang Gintung per month during 2017-2019 was highest in February with an IR value of 8.7 per 10,000 people/population. The increase in the IR value in each month is accompanied by an increase in the average value of rainfall (mm²), air temperature (°C), and humidity (%). Where in January the IR value was 2.2, increasing in February to 8.7 with an average rainfall value per month of January 15.4 mm² and in February it increased to 25.3 mm². Followed by increasing the value of air temperature and humidity. Correlation of climate to the incidence of new cases of pulmonary TB in the region public Health center Lawang Gintung is known that rainfall is positive with an R² value of 0.50. Air temperature is negative where R² is 0.01 and humidity is positive with R² value is 0.17.
