Abstract

For customers, Price is an essential attribute and can be more important in decision making. Because when the customer is considering buying this product, Price may be a key element in the decision process. price can be an informational cue that increases customer sensitivity to private brands or brand loyalty. Likewise, consumer product involvement can increase brand loyalty. A company's success can be measured depending on its capability to attract customers to its brand. But, the manager of Asia Baru Shop – Medan, a grocery store for baby milk products, especially for Morinaga infant milk, found that today customers are hard to be loyal to a brand or specific brand because customers are sensitive to the price change, which has made the switch to other brands. This study aims to know the effect of Price on brand loyaltyand contribute to the literature on brand loyalty by demonstrating how product involvement influences brand loyaltyy. The sample of this research is 100 respondents who were distributed among Medan customers; the sampling technique uses simple random sampling. The authors used structural equation modeling to test the hypothesized model. This research is descriptive quantitative research. The result found that there is an effect of Price on brand loyalty and product involvement affects brand loyalty

Abstract

Job satisfaction is a very important factor to get the optimal work. When a sense of satisfaction in the work of course, it will try as much as possible with all the ability to finish the work. Thus, productivity of employee work will increase optimally. To maintain employees’ job satisfaction in the workplace so that future employees the work can manage stress well and can provide a positive impact to the employees (increased job satisfaction, productivity, and performance of employees) and enterprise (low levels of employee absenteeism, employee turnover, and so on). The purposes of this research are to know there is influence of job stress towards job satisfaction at IEC Malaka Medan. Research methods which used are descriptive statistic analysis coefficient correlation and coefficient of determinant, simple linear regression analysis and Z test. The result of this research is job stress has influence toward job satisfaction in IEC Malaka Branch. There is strong negative relationship between job stress managed by employee with job satisfaction in IEC Malaka Branch. Most of employees in IEC Malaka Branch are disagree in job satisfaction and moderate in job stress at this company. If the employees satisfy from what they have received from the company, then that employee will give more than what is expected by company, and they will continue to improve its performance. With employee satisfaction and avoiding the job stress, the employee productivity will increase. Hence, job satisfaction has significance benefit both for the employees and the company, especially as it creates a positive situation in the company’s work environment.

Abstract

Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat yang sudah dilakukan adalah program Pelatihan belajar bahasa Inggris bagi siswa SMA Dharma Bakti Medan. Program bimbingan belajar ini bertujuan membantu siswa sekolah dasar menguasai bahasa Inggris tingkat dasar dengan baik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis situasi, pemahaman dan penguasaan bahasa Inggris tingkat SMA Dharma Bakti Medan masih rendah. Hal ini bukanlah hal yang aneh karena bahasa Inggris adalah bahasa asing sehingga penguasaannya tidaklah mudah. Tambahan lagi, kemauan siswa SMA Dharma Bakti Medan untuk belajar bahasa Inggris di luar jam pelajaran sekolah masih rendah. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan upaya untuk menumbuhkan dan meningkatkan kesadaran mereka untuk belajar di luar jam pelajaran. Program bimbingan belajar ini juga bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan kemandirian siswa untuk belajar sendiri di rumah. Dan dengan upaya ini diharapkan siswa mampu meningkatkan kemampuan dan nilai bahasa Inggrisnya. Pelatihan belajar bahasa Inggris ini menyangkut penguasaan keempat keterampilan bahasa Inggris yaitu: mendengarkan (listening), membaca (reading), berbicara (speaking), dan menulis (writing). Disamping itu juga diajarkan tentang struktur dan kosa kata. Pelatihan belajar yang dilakukan sudah berhasil dengan baik. Hal ini bisa dilihat dari antusiasme siswa sekolah dasar untuk mengikuti program bimbingan belajar ini. Kehadiran mereka mencapai 100%. Dan dari hasil evaluasi belajar nampak bahwa mereka sudah menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan bahasa Inggris mereka pada keempat skill yaitu listening, reading, speaking dan writing dan dua komponen bahasa Inggris yaitu grammar dan vocabulary.

Abstract

The role of customers is so vital for organizations and that is why customerrelationship management (CRM) is born based on the recognition of the valuecustomers have. CRM is then known as a managerial approach which is customer customer-oriente d in which information is provided by information systems in order to sustaincollaborative, operational, analytical, and CRM processes leading to customersatisfaction and retention. Sentral Mobil Medan is having problem with the retentionwhich is gettin g low. The objectives of the research are to analyze whther CRM hasimpact on customer retention and determine how strong the impact of CRM oncustomer customer retention in the company. The writer uses Slovin Formula to get thesample size. The sample size is 144 customers. The writer uses the simple randomsampling which each member of the population has an equal and known chance ofbeing selected. The correlation test shows Variable X ( Customer RelationshipManagement) has a significantly strong and positive impact on variable Y (customerretention) at Sentral Mobil Medan. zcount > ztable (9.88 > 1.96), CustomerRelationship Management has impact on customer retention at Sental Mobil Med an.Several recommendations after analysis and results are the staff of Sentral MobilMedan may serve the customers with good manner, give personal attention and how tointeract close what the customers really needs and identify problems and solve theprob lems fast.

Abstract

Perceived risk is a significant source of psychological stress that results in impaired purchase intention. Thus, marketers’ understanding of perceived risk structure and the provision of risk relievers give consumers a better environment for making purchase intentions. The writer conduct research at UD. Kian Maju Medan which engages in providing glassware and any other glassware products, the company is facing problem which customers experiences the functionality risks which fear that the product will fail to deliver based on its functions, the financial risks which the product’s quality doesn’t match its price, the prices that the company can change suddenly, customers have been spending much money on purchasing an inadequate or unfamiliar brand. The indicators of perceived risks were adopted from Bhukya and Singh (2015:221) which are perceived functional risk, perceived financial risk, perceived physical risk, and perceived psychological risk. The indicators of purchase intention are adopted from Elwanda and Lu (2012:7) which are product orders, customer satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat order. The population that the writer uses is the customers of UD. Kian maju Medan using Slovin’s formula get the sample size 81 people. The writer uses the simple random sampling which each member of the population has an equal and known chance of being selected. The results of calculations are perceived risks have effect on customer purchase intention which can be seen from hypothesis test (-zcount <-ztable), and perceived risks have a negative and strong effect on purchase intention from the result of correlation test, linear regression equation and determination test. Several recommendations are given based on the disagree answers of the respondents which make sure the quality of products to be high and standard quality that meet the customers’ needs, check and make sure the products are free from defects and chemicals, provide the well-known and familiar brand of products, and charge the prices based on the products’ materials.

Abstract

Literasi adalah kemampuan individu untuk menggunakan segenap potensi (skill) untuk menerima, memahami dan mengelola informasi saat melakukan proses membaca dan menulis. Memilliki literasi yang baik artinya memiliki kemampuan untuk mengalisis, mengevaluasi data dan informasi yang diterima dengan baik. Memiliki pengetahuan dalam membaca berbagai informasi bermanfaat, mengambil kesimpulan dari informasi yang dibaca, memberikan penilaian kritis terhadap informasi tersebut. Pada era industri 4.0 mau atau tidak mau, waktu mengharuskan setiap individu untuk belajar dan mengasah kemampuan literasi agar mampu beradaptasi dan mengikuti perkembangan teknologi. Namun faktanya Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) pada tahun 2019 meliris informasi berdasarkan survei yang dilakukan Program for International Student Assessment (PISA), Indonesia merupakan 10 negara terbawah yang memiliki tingkat literasi rendah dengan menempati peringkat ke 62 dari 70 negara. Tidak terkecuali pada pelajar yang berada di daerah Kabupaten Tapanuli Utara. Data menunjukan bahwa minat baca pelajar di daerah ini masih sangat rendah. Dalam PKM ini tim memfokuskan pada tiga tingkatan literasi yaitu digital, bahasa dan keuangan. Dimana ketiga hal ini sangat dibutuhkan apalagi untuk tingkatan pelajar yang ada di Sekolah Menegah Kejuruan (SMK) yang diharapkan setelah tamat sekolah bisa langsung terjun ke dunia pekerjaan. Dalam literasi digital siswa dilatih untuk membuat personal website (blog) untuk wadah bagi peserta didik dalam mengepresikan diri dalam berbagai karya, tugas sekolah atau hobby lainnya sehingga mereka mampu menggunakan teknologi untuk hal yang lebih bermanfaat. Hasil yang diperoleh dari pengabdian ini adalah terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman siswa tentang literasi digital, bahasa dan keuangan. Hal itu terlihat bahwa siswa sudah mampu membuat lamaran pekerjaan, mimiliki perencanaan keuangan sederhana dan sudah memiliki akun blog dengan beberapa konten tulisan mereka sendiri.

Abstract

Human resource management plays a major role in the effectiveness of any organization. Employee innovativeness is engagement in innovative behaviors which includes behaviors related to the innovation process. The organizational innovation needs the knowledge sharing in the company. Knowledge sharing is considered an important process in an organization. Knowledge sharing plays an important role in creating innovation. The purpose of this research is to know whether there is the impact of knowledge sharing on innovative work behavior at PT Sumatera Hakarindo Deli Serdang. Research design used in this research is descriptive research design and correlational research design. Research methods which used are descriptive statistic analysis, validity and reliability test, normality test, coefficient correlation, coefficient of determinant, simple linear regression analysis and Z testing. The conclusion of this research is that knowledge sharing has significant impact on innovative work behavior at PT Sumatera Hakarindo Deli Serdang. Z test give result that Zcount (9.42) is higher than Ztable (1.96). Correlation value in 0.883 shows that there is strong positive relationship between knowledge sharing and innovative work behavior in PT Sumatera Hakarindo Deli Serdang. Coefficient of determination value in amount of 77.9% shows that the knowledge sharing has contribution on change of innovative work behavior in amount 77.9% while the remaining in 22.1% is contributed by other factor. The linear regression equation is Y = 2.798 + 1.497 X. Coefficient of regression in 2.798 shows that increasing of 1 unit knowledge sharing can make increasing of innovative work behavior in 2.798 unit. From respondent’s answer, it can be known that most of respondent is disagree about knowledge sharing and innovative work behavior dimension in PT Sumatera Hakarindo Deli Serdang. The company can increase the innovative work behavior with improving knowledge sharing.

Abstract

Komoditas sayuran berperan penting dalam memenuhi konsumsi pangan dan kebutuhan gizi. Konsumsi produk komoditas sayuran semakin meningkat, diimbangi dengan tumbuhnya kesadaran akan hidup sehat. Dengan meningkatnya pengetahuan konsumen pada kesehatan, ancaman pestisida, dan masalah lingkungan, sayuran hidroponik semakin mendapatkan perhatian dan diminati oleh masyarakat untuk konsumsi sehari-hari. Meningkatnya konsumsi sayuran hidroponik memberikan peluang yang besar bagi usaha sayuran Hidroponik Binjai. Berdasarkan hasil analisis SWOT, kekuatannya seperti kemampuan bekerja dengan mitra bisnis, tenaga kerja terampil, mendapatkan dukungan dari lembaga, memiliki pelatihan, dan penggunaan lahannya efesien. Kelemahannya adalah ketidakmampuan dalam menghasilkan benih sendiri, belum cukup berpengalaman, fasilitas pengemasan yang masih terbatas, manajemen keuangan yang relatif lemah, dan teknologi ruang green house yang rendah dan belum canggih. Peluangnya antara lain terbukanya pasar modern, peningkatan pesanan sayuran, mendapat dukungan kebijakan pemerintah, dan tingkat kepercayaan mitra yang tinggi. Ancamannya ialah kesulitan dan terhambatnya pasokan benih, kualitas sayuran untuk memenuhi keinginan mitra, persaingan usaha, dan permintaan dari konsumen tidak tetap, dan tawar-menawar konsumen yang kuat. Hasil dari kuadran analisis SWOT berada pada strategi agresif (S-O), yaitu harus mempu menjaga kepercayaan dari mitra usaha, mengelola secara efektif dan efisien, mengedukasi dan mengembangkan ide kepada masyarakat sekitar dan kelompok tani, sehingga memiliki karyawan yang produktif dalam bekerja dan dapat meningkatkan produksi yang tinggi. Kata kunci: strategi, pengembangan usaha, komoditas sayuran, sayuran hidroponik, Analisis SWOT

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to build a model of innovation capability, co-creation, and value based selling on the marketing performance of dodol entrepreneurs in North Sumatra. This study uses an explanatory research type with a quantitative approach. Questionnaires were given to the Dodol UKM craftsmen in North Sumatra as many as 60 respondents with a sample technique using a purposive sample based on predetermined criteria. Analysis of the data using descriptive statistics and hypothesis testing using path analysis smartpls. Based on the test, it is explained that the overall hypothesis in the study has a positive and significant effect. First, the Co Creation variable has a positive and significant effect on the innovation capability variable and the marketing performance variable. Furthermore, the Value-based selling variable also affects the innovation capability variable and the marketing performance variable. The innovation capability variable also has a positive and significant effect on marketing performance.

Abstract

The training focuses on managing Indonesian traditional cuisine and disseminating nutritious food to the younger generation, with the objective of showcasing the rich diversity of Indonesian culinary heritage. This curriculum instructs on traditional food processing methods utilizing local resources, while promoting the significance of a nutritious diet and balanced nutrition. Participants get theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the selection, preparation, and presentation of nutritious meals. Furthermore, students are encouraged to provide nutritious food to anyone in need, particularly children and disadvantaged families, to cultivate empathy and social consciousness. This initiative connects the youth with the culinary legacy of the archipelago, promotes a healthy lifestyle, and incorporates local food components. Consequently, the younger generation is anticipated to serve as catalysts for change, prioritizing personal health and community well-being while enhancing quality of life sustainably.
