Abstract

This tourism study analyzed the evidence of studies to identify marketing strategies for tourism products to foreign markets through the study and analysis of several international publications that discuss tourism promotion and marketing issues. The tourism business is the same as other businesses where it is very much tied to promotion and marketing in order to be able to survive and develop quickly to be known by potential foreign tourists. Therefore, we collected literature with the help of internet searches on some well-known publications such as Sagepub, Google Scholar, and other publications published in the last ten years. Then we analyzed it with a phenomenological approach starting from the data coding system, interpretation and evaluation until we found data findings that answered the core problem of this tourism study with the principle of high validity. Because this study depends on the literature, all of our data is found electronically following health protocol where there are public restrictions on Covid-19 response efforts. Based on the data and discussion, we conclude that the findings include tourism promotion and marketing strategies based on experts, an innovative and productive way to believe via the internet with several social media platforms and other websites. Thus, this finding becomes a significant contribution for many people.

Abstract

Mostly, home conflict just spills over to work area and job stress spills over to home. This calls work-life conflict. As company that specializes in transportation and construction services, CV Saudara Jaya Abadi Tama – Medan is facing problem with its employees. To solve this problem, it is become a priority for company’s management and employees to know what factors that causing work life conflict and understand on how to handle it. In this research, writer uses descriptive research design in collecting, classifying, and analyzing the data. The first method refers to descriptive study which provides explanation of the variable work life conflict and employees’ performance theories. The second method refers to correlative research since the purpose is to find the correlation between independent and dependent variables..

Abstract

Job satisfaction is a very important factor to get the optimal work. When a sense of satisfaction in the work of course, it will try as much as possible with all the ability to finish the work. Thus, productivity of employee work will increase optimally. To maintain employees’ job satisfaction in the workplace so that future employees the work can manage stress well and can provide a positive impact to the employees (increased job satisfaction, productivity, and performance of employees) and enterprise (low levels of employee absenteeism, employee turnover, and so on). The purposes of this research are to know there is influence of job stress towards job satisfaction at IEC Malaka Medan. Research methods which used are descriptive statistic analysis coefficient correlation and coefficient of determinant, simple linear regression analysis and Z test. The result of this research is job stress has influence toward job satisfaction in IEC Malaka Branch. There is strong negative relationship between job stress managed by employee with job satisfaction in IEC Malaka Branch. Most of employees in IEC Malaka Branch are disagree in job satisfaction and moderate in job stress at this company. If the employees satisfy from what they have received from the company, then that employee will give more than what is expected by company, and they will continue to improve its performance. With employee satisfaction and avoiding the job stress, the employee productivity will increase. Hence, job satisfaction has significance benefit both for the employees and the company, especially as it creates a positive situation in the company’s work environment.

Abstract

Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat yang sudah dilakukan adalah program Pelatihan belajar bahasa Inggris bagi siswa SMA Dharma Bakti Medan. Program bimbingan belajar ini bertujuan membantu siswa sekolah dasar menguasai bahasa Inggris tingkat dasar dengan baik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis situasi, pemahaman dan penguasaan bahasa Inggris tingkat SMA Dharma Bakti Medan masih rendah. Hal ini bukanlah hal yang aneh karena bahasa Inggris adalah bahasa asing sehingga penguasaannya tidaklah mudah. Tambahan lagi, kemauan siswa SMA Dharma Bakti Medan untuk belajar bahasa Inggris di luar jam pelajaran sekolah masih rendah. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan upaya untuk menumbuhkan dan meningkatkan kesadaran mereka untuk belajar di luar jam pelajaran. Program bimbingan belajar ini juga bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan kemandirian siswa untuk belajar sendiri di rumah. Dan dengan upaya ini diharapkan siswa mampu meningkatkan kemampuan dan nilai bahasa Inggrisnya. Pelatihan belajar bahasa Inggris ini menyangkut penguasaan keempat keterampilan bahasa Inggris yaitu: mendengarkan (listening), membaca (reading), berbicara (speaking), dan menulis (writing). Disamping itu juga diajarkan tentang struktur dan kosa kata. Pelatihan belajar yang dilakukan sudah berhasil dengan baik. Hal ini bisa dilihat dari antusiasme siswa sekolah dasar untuk mengikuti program bimbingan belajar ini. Kehadiran mereka mencapai 100%. Dan dari hasil evaluasi belajar nampak bahwa mereka sudah menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan bahasa Inggris mereka pada keempat skill yaitu listening, reading, speaking dan writing dan dua komponen bahasa Inggris yaitu grammar dan vocabulary.

Abstract

Productivity refers to the capability of employee in making significant achievements which are higher than the company expectations. It means that the outcome of the work is better than what the company expect them to do. Employee productivity can be realized if the human resource is able to be responsible in accomplishing the task or job. One of the key factors which influence productivity is employee motivation. The problem at UD Segren Binjai are the lacking of productivity in terms of coming to work late and not accomplishing the task on time. The research designs used in this study are descriptive study and correlative study. In this research, the writer used questionnaire to collect the data. The sample used in this study is the employees at UD Segren Binjai which are 33 employees. The result got from this research is the employee motivation has impact on productivity at UD Segren Binjai which can be seen from the hypothesis test (zcount > ztable (4.28 > 1.96)) which means that the Ho is rejected and the Ha is accepted. From the correlation test done, it shows the result is 0.771 which means that employee motivation has strong and positive impact on productivity.

Abstract

Upaya kesehatan pada anak dapat dilakukan melalui perbaikan gizi terutama di usia sekolah dasar. Gizi yang baik akan menghasilkan SDM yang berkualitas. Salah satu zat gizi penting bagi tumbuh kembang anak sekolah adalah protein yang berasal dari ikan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini menyampaikan pesan pentingnya konsumsi ikan, melibatkan peran guru kelas dalam mentransformasikan manfaat konsumsi ikan kepada siswa/i secara berkesinambungan, menggali faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi anak dalam konsumsi ikan. Sehingga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan sasaran dan diketahui faktor yang mempengaruhi sasaran dalam mengkonsumsi ikan. Hasil kegiatan ini menyimpulkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan kelompok sasaran tentang pentingnya konsumsi ikan, tetapi belum dapat dipastikan penerapan dalam praktik sehari-hari. Sehingga perlu dilakukan pemantauan dalam implementasinya. Pengetahuan dan motivasi bukanlah faktor utama anak mau konsumsi ikan, ketersediaan pangan berbahan ikan di rumah dan pengolahan yang dapat meningkatkan minat anak untuk konsumsi ikan merupakan faktor utama yang perlu diperhatikan.

Abstract

The effect of performance appraisal process on employee motivation established that the system is important for employee motivation. Performance appraisal system has helped improve job performance at work. But so many company forget about how useful this system is, which lead to decrease of employee motivation, and PT. Galatta Lestarindo Medan also having this problem, such as high of turnover, it happened because the employees are unmotivated and unsatisfied to continue working in this company. The population that is used in the research is the total employees who are active working September 2015 in PT. Galatta Lestarindo Medan that are 37 people. The sampling technique is called as census sampling. Census sampling method is method which takes all the population as the sample. In analyzing questionnaires, the writer used validity test and reliability test, to analyze the data, use statistics, correlation test, determination test, linear regression, and hypothesis test. The correlation test shows that performance appraisal really have an impact through employees performance at PT. Galatta Lestarindo Medan, the result is positive and strong effect on employees’ performance at PT. Galatta Lestarindo Medan. zcount > ztable (5.16> 1.96), This means the Null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative (Ha) is accepted.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between Transformational Leadership, Servant Leadership, Digital Transformation on Organizational Performance and Work Innovation Capabilities. In this study using quantitative methods and data analysis techniques Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using SmartPLS 3.0 software. This research was conducted in the population in this study were all SMEs in Tangerang City as many as 41,155 SMEs and based on the method of determining the number of samples according to Morgan, the sample units were 380 SMEs. Based on the results of data analysis transformational leadership has a significant effect on Organizational Performance, transformational leadership has no significant effect on Work Innovation Capabilities, servant leadership has a significant effect on Organizational Performance, servant leadership has no significant effect on work innovation capabilities, digital transformation has no significant effect on organizational performance, digital Transformation has no significant effect on Work Innovation Capabilities, organizational performance has no significant effect on work innovation capabilities, transformational Leadership has no significant effect on Organizational Performance through Work Innovation Capabilities, Servant Leadership has no significant effect on Organizational Performance through Work Innovation Capabilities, digital transformation has no significant effect significant to the Organizational Performance through Work Innovation Capabilities.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan edukasi dan pendampingan kepada masyarakat akan pentingnya menginvestasikan sebagian pendapatan yang mereka miliki dan memberikan pelatihan edukasi tentang salah satu bentuk investasi yaitu pasar modal. Hal ini perlu dilakukan mengingat sangat kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya berinvestasi untuk meningkatkan nilai kekayaan mereka di masa yang akan datang agar tidak tergerus oleh inflasi. Sehingga jika masyarakat mulai mengenal dan menjalankan investasinya sendiri melalui pasar modal, mereka akan sadar bahwa tabungan saja tidak cukup untuk mengimbangi kenaikan harga barang di masa yang akan datang. Hal ini dapat juga digunakan untuk meningkatkan perekonomian keluarga di masa yang akan datang. Pengenalan dan pemahaman akan berinvestasi di pasar modal ini sangat penting mengingat peran pasar modal semakin lama semakin penting bagi perekonomian. Masyarakat Surabaya, adalah masyarakat metropolis yang memiliki pertumbuhan ekonomi yang lumayan tinggi serta akses kepada pasar modal juga lebih baik dibandingkan dengan kota-kota lain di jawa timur, sehingga memungkinkan bagi masyarakat maupun ibu rumah tangga untuk mendapatkan kemudahan berinteraksi dengan pasar modal. Namun banyak dari masyarakat yang belum memahami potensi pasar modal untuk pengembangan ekonomi keluarga. Tercatat bahwa hanya 1% dari penduduk Indonesia yang merupakan investor di pasar modal, sehingga potensi pasar modal masih sangat besar untuk dikembangkan. Target khusus melalui pendampingan dan pelatihan ini diharapkan masing-masing mitra akan dapat mengetahui pentingnya berinvestasi dibandingkan menabung, mengubah paradigma saving society menjadi investment society, dan menjadi investor individu untuk meningkatkan kekayaan dan ekonomi keluarga mitra beberapa tahun ke depan. Metode yang akan dipakai dalam pencapaian tujuan tersebut adalah tutorial dan pelatihan pengenalan pasar modal serta pelatihan dan pendampingan cara bertransaksi saham, memilih saham, bagaimana menentukan saham yang baik dan buruk, strategi bertransaksi saham, serta menjaga kestabilan psikologis seorang investor individu.

Abstract

Tujuan dari Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat adalah untuk melaksanakan salah satu Tri Darma Perguruan Tinggi. Selain itu diharapkan dengan pengabdian kepada masyarakat tersebut keberadaan perguruan tinggi dapat memberikan kontribusi besar kepada pengembangan dan penerapan keilmuan kepada masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan pada Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini berupa ekspositori yaitu penyampaian materi secara verbal dan inquiry yaitu pembelajaran yang menekankan pada proses berpikir kritis dan analitis terkait kelimuan manajemen sumber daya manusia dan manajemen pemasaran dengan pemahaman mendalam terkait materi bagaimana menentukan masa depan .Hasil pengabdian masyarakat yang diperoleh adalah bertambahnya keilmuan bagi para Para Siswa dan Siswi SMA St. Petrus Medan agar mereka memiliki pandangan yang baik bagaimana cara menentukan pilihan setelah lulus sekolah, lanjut pendidikan atau bekerja, memiliki bekal pengetahuan tentang dunia usaha dan dunia akademisi setelah mereka lulus sekolah serta mampu mencetak generasi muda yang handal serta berprestasi dan dapat menjadi contoh bagi para remaja lainnya. Ilmu yang diperoleh pada Pengabdian Masyarakat kali ini diharapkan mampu memberikan semangat baru bagi kita dalam menyampaikan materi dan motivasi serta berkontribusi bagi generasi muda, baik dilingkungan sekolah, kampus dan keluarga.
