Abstract

PT Bina Rahmad Madani is a moving company in the field of CPO production and management, where the company is still not maximal in managing its cash flow reporting, so the cash management has not been so maximal in increasing the number of liquidity that the company is targeting, where the cash current report over the 2021 period has experienced greater cash production, when compared to previous years, so it affects the company's cash-strapped ability to be unfavourable, as a result of which it affects the company's ability to produce liquidity to continue its operations. If in the coming year the production of this cash is getting bigger. This study aims to find out how the management of the kas currents of PT Bina Rahmad Madani Medan in 2021 can improve the existing cash management of the company. The data analysis is done using qualitative descriptive data analysis, which is using the cash current growth formula in 2020-2021, where the object of this research is the kas current report PT Bina Rahmad Madani the last 2 years of 2020-2021. TThe results of the research done through the 2020-2021 cash current growth analysis on PT Bina Rahmad Madani can be concluded that this company has not been able to manage well the cash current in the operating and funding section, thus affecting the company's autonomy, due to the limited liquidity of the company to launch the company's operations, so it can be said that the cash management in this company is still not very good..

Abstract

PT Sinar Cipta Kreasi Medan is a moving company in the field of firefighting, where the company is experiencing obstacles from some of its employees who do not have emotional intelligence (EQ), where there are still conflicts, both interdepartments within the organization and also outside the organization especially to suppliers and consumers, so it affects the organizational climate that is not very conducive in the company, thus contributing to a decrease in the performance and productivity of the company's work in providing firefighting products, thus lowering the job satisfaction of other employees. As a result this company does not always have good performance and can always complain from the supplier as well as from the customer. This study aimed to find out whether the emotional intelligence (EQ) of the employee and the organizational climate are both partially and one-sidedly and have a positive and significant impact on the employee's work satisfaction with his work at PT Sinar Cipta Kreasi Medan. The analysis of the data on this study used validity and reliability tests, double linear regression analysis and hypothetical tests, where the population in this study was an employee of PT Sinar Cipta Kreasi Medan of 250 people, whereas the method of withdrawal of samples in this study used simple random sampling calculated using the slovin formula which in the end the number of successful samples was drawn by 42 people. The results of this study state that in a superficial and partial sense of emotional intelligence (EQ) and organizational climate have a positive and significant influence on the variable in the employee's job satisfaction with his work at PT Sinar Cipta Kreasi Medan.

Abstract

Job satisfaction is a very important factor to get the optimal work. When a sense of satisfaction in the work of course, it will try as much as possible with all the ability to finish the work. Thus, productivity of employee work will increase optimally. To maintain employees’ job satisfaction in the workplace so that future employees the work can manage stress well and can provide a positive impact to the employees (increased job satisfaction, productivity, and performance of employees) and enterprise (low levels of employee absenteeism, employee turnover, and so on). The purposes of this research are to know there is influence of job stress towards job satisfaction at IEC Malaka Medan. Research methods which used are descriptive statistic analysis coefficient correlation and coefficient of determinant, simple linear regression analysis and Z test. The result of this research is job stress has influence toward job satisfaction in IEC Malaka Branch. There is strong negative relationship between job stress managed by employee with job satisfaction in IEC Malaka Branch. Most of employees in IEC Malaka Branch are disagree in job satisfaction and moderate in job stress at this company. If the employees satisfy from what they have received from the company, then that employee will give more than what is expected by company, and they will continue to improve its performance. With employee satisfaction and avoiding the job stress, the employee productivity will increase. Hence, job satisfaction has significance benefit both for the employees and the company, especially as it creates a positive situation in the company’s work environment.

Abstract

Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat yang sudah dilakukan adalah program Pelatihan belajar bahasa Inggris bagi siswa SMA Dharma Bakti Medan. Program bimbingan belajar ini bertujuan membantu siswa sekolah dasar menguasai bahasa Inggris tingkat dasar dengan baik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis situasi, pemahaman dan penguasaan bahasa Inggris tingkat SMA Dharma Bakti Medan masih rendah. Hal ini bukanlah hal yang aneh karena bahasa Inggris adalah bahasa asing sehingga penguasaannya tidaklah mudah. Tambahan lagi, kemauan siswa SMA Dharma Bakti Medan untuk belajar bahasa Inggris di luar jam pelajaran sekolah masih rendah. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan upaya untuk menumbuhkan dan meningkatkan kesadaran mereka untuk belajar di luar jam pelajaran. Program bimbingan belajar ini juga bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan kemandirian siswa untuk belajar sendiri di rumah. Dan dengan upaya ini diharapkan siswa mampu meningkatkan kemampuan dan nilai bahasa Inggrisnya. Pelatihan belajar bahasa Inggris ini menyangkut penguasaan keempat keterampilan bahasa Inggris yaitu: mendengarkan (listening), membaca (reading), berbicara (speaking), dan menulis (writing). Disamping itu juga diajarkan tentang struktur dan kosa kata. Pelatihan belajar yang dilakukan sudah berhasil dengan baik. Hal ini bisa dilihat dari antusiasme siswa sekolah dasar untuk mengikuti program bimbingan belajar ini. Kehadiran mereka mencapai 100%. Dan dari hasil evaluasi belajar nampak bahwa mereka sudah menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan bahasa Inggris mereka pada keempat skill yaitu listening, reading, speaking dan writing dan dua komponen bahasa Inggris yaitu grammar dan vocabulary.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi dari kondisi guru-guru di SMP Swasta Dharma Putra Medan yang dominan berlatar non kependidikan sehingga membutuhkan pelatihan untuk menyusun instrumen Asesment Autentik. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini yaitu melalui penyampaikan makalah dan workshop. Proses pelaksanaan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini memakai metode penyampaian makalah tatap langsung, diskusi, dan dilanjutkan pendampingan menyusun instrumen autentik. Masyarakat mengikuti kegiatan dengan antusias, ditunjukan dengan keaktifan peserta dalam diskusi ketika penyampaian makalah dan juga penyusunan intrumen. Solusinya adalah dengan memaksimalkan grup wa dan memberikan rekaman video kegiatan. Adapun manfaat dari kegiatan ini guru-guru di SMP Swasta Dharma Putra Medan dapat menyusun intrumen autentik dengan baik sesuai mata pelajaran yang diampu.

Abstract

customer's expectations. It is the group of features and characteristics of a saleable good which determine its desirability and which can be controlled by a manufacturer to meet certain basic requirements. Research is conducted at PT. Lontar Papyrus Pulp and Paper Medan which having problem with the customers’ purchase intention because of the product quality of the company. The indicators of variable X (Product quality) are performance, features, conformance, reliability, durability, serviceability, aesthetics, and customer perceived quality. The indicators of variable Y (Customer Purchase Intention) are product orders, customer satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat order. The population that the writer uses is the customers of PT. Lontar Papyrus Pulp and Paper Medan which are 92 people. To determine sample size, use simple random technique which all population member has same chance to be selected as sample. The results of the data calculations are product quality has relationship with purchase intention which can be seen from hypothesis test and has a positive and significantly strong relationship with purchase intention from correlation test and linear regression equation. The writer give several recommendations which make sure they sell all products in a good and complete condition to customers, check the products so that they can do all the features for its intended purpose, provide a clear and trusted warranty for certain period of time to customers, and may regularly to do product quality check up on the products they offering to the customers.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate how extrinsic rewards, intrinsic rewards, and levels of work engagement contribute to the psychological well-being of employees in the campus environment of the ITB Business Institute. The research method used is a survey using questionnaires distributed to employees in various departments and units on campus. Extrinsic awards are evaluated through financial recognition and other material awards, while intrinsic awards include recognition of achievement, personal development, and a sense of accomplishment. Job engagement is measured through job satisfaction, commitment to work, and identification with organizational values. The collected data was analyzed using regression techniques to identify the relationship between independent variables (extrinsic rewards, intrinsic rewards, and work engagement) and dependent variables (psychological well-being). The findings of this study are expected to provide in-depth insights into the factors that affect the psychological well-being of employees on the campus of the ITB Business Institute. The results of this study are expected to provide recommendations to campus management in improving reward strategies and work engagement management to support the psychological well-being of employees. The practical implications of this research are expected to help create a more satisfying and productive work environment for all campus members.

Abstract

Nurse Retention is the company's ability to retain employees who have the potential to remain loyal to the company for a longer period of time. This study aims to determine the effect, work stress, organizational commitment compensation on nurse retention in hospitals. This research is a quantitative study with an associative approach. The population of this study amounted to 80 nurses. In this study, the sample taken was all nurses who were the target of the study, totaling 80 nurses. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis tools equipped with classical assumption tests. Partial analysis results show that job stress, compensation and organizational commitment have a significant effect on nurse retention.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh media sosial dan Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) terhadap niat beli mahasiswa pada e-commerce. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media sosial memiliki pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap niat beli mahasiswa, di mana media sosial berperan sebagai sumber informasi utama yang membangun kepercayaan melalui ulasan, rekomendasi, dan interaksi langsung. Selain itu, FOMO juga terbukti memengaruhi niat beli dengan mendorong pembelian impulsif akibat tekanan sosial, promosi waktu terbatas, dan pengalaman pengguna lain yang menciptakan rasa urgensi. Kombinasi media sosial dan FOMO menciptakan lingkungan pemasaran yang efektif, memperkuat dorongan mahasiswa untuk melakukan pembelian di e-commerce. Implikasi penelitian ini menunjukkan pentingnya strategi pemasaran e-commerce yang memanfaatkan media sosial dan FOMO, seperti kampanye promosi eksklusif, kolaborasi dengan influencer, dan penguatan kepercayaan melalui testimoni konsumen. Penelitian ini juga membuka peluang untuk studi lebih lanjut mengenai peran media sosial dan faktor psikologis konsumen dalam pengambilan keputusan pembelian pada kelompok demografis lain.
