Abstract

Abstract: Basically human is social being who cannot live by themselves and depending their lives on each other. Surely with technology which developed fast, seacrhing and finding new friends could be done easier. However recommended friends done by current social media services still has less precise and basicaly good friendship has some similarities between each individuals. Related to that problem, a web based friend recommendation application using depth first search method has made.The process of making application is done by collecting users need analysis, until resumed with program design, and resumed to done a testing so that the application could run correctly. Besides collecting analysis data for making the application, collecting data using questionnaire had been done to find out response from people about the appliaction.. Abstrak: Manusia pada dasarnya merupakan makhluk sosial yang tidak dapat hidup sendiri dan saling menggantungkan hidupnya satu sama lain. Dengan pesatnya perkembangan teknologi, mencari dan menemukan teman baru dapat dilakukan dengan lebih mudah. Namun layanan media sosial yang ada sekarang ini umumnya merekomendasikan teman-teman yang dirasa kurang tepat dan pertemanan yang baik pada dasarnya memiliki beberapa kemiripan antara masing-masing individu. Sehubungan dengan masalah tersebut dibuatlah sebuah aplikasi rekomendasi teman berbasis web dengan menggunakan menggunakan metode depth first search. Proses pembuatan aplikasi dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan analisa kebutuhan pemakai, hingga dilanjutkan dengan perancangan program, dan kemudian dilakukan pengujian untuk memastikan bahwa aplikasi dapat berjalan dengan semestinya. Selain mengumpulkan analisa data terhadap proses pembuatan aplikasi, pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan kuesioner juga dilakukan untuk mengetahui respon dari orang-orang terhadap aplikasi yang dibuat. Penggunaan aplikasi rekomendasi teman berbasis web merupakan cara yang baik untuk menemukan teman-teman baru.

Abstract

A hospital is a healthcare institution that plays a role in providing information to the public. In today's digital era, the need for information media continues to increase. One of these is the company website, which serves as an information medium connecting hospitals with the community. The purpose of this research is to develop a website for Ar-Rasyid Islamic Hospital Palembang, with development carried out using the RUP (Rational Unified Process) method which includes the Inception, Elaboration, Construction, and Transition phases. The website is developed with a focus on features such as profile pages, service information, news, and doctor schedules. The result of this research is that with the presence of the hospital website, it is expected to improve the services of Ar-Rasyid Islamic Hospital Palembang and extend their information reach to the community without having to visit the hospital directly.
