Abstract

This study investigates the challenges faced by non-lecturer educational staff in developing human capital and explores leadership solutions within a higher education institution in Bengkulu province. Employing a qualitative descriptive methodology, data were collected through interviews, observations, and open-ended questionnaires from 20 staff members and two leaders. Key findings reveal difficulties in balancing education and work, limited access to relevant training, and obstacles in skill development. Leadership responses include flexible educational schedules, improved technology infrastructure, and enhanced cross-unit collaboration. The study highlights the need for comprehensive solutions to improve service quality, innovation, and institutional adaptation. Limitations include the study's focus on a single university and reliance on qualitative data. Further research should explore these dynamics across diverse educational contexts and assess the long-term impacts of proposed solutions.

Abstract

Masih kurangnya pemanfaatkan media teknologi dalam  pelaksanaan layanan BK. Jarangnya penggunaan media teknologi oleh guru bimbingan dan  konseling adalah guru BK kurang dapat mengeksplorasi materi yang diberikan. Sehingga kejelasan penyajian pesan atau informasi materi yang disampaikan membuat siswa menerima dan menangkap materi menjadi verbalistis dan membosankan. Padahal salah satu kegunaan media adalah untuk mengatasi keterbatasan ruang dan waktu  penggunaan teknologi berbasis google sites adalah salah satu wujud upaya pengembangan kompetensi yang diharapkan mampu menunjang kinerja guru BK dalam menampilkan kerja yang profesional dalam penyelenggaraan layanan bimbingan dan konseling di madrasah. Peneliti memilih untuk menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen teknik penelitian pre eksperimental dengan desain penelitian one group pretest posttest. Pengambilan data menggunakan angket analisis uji coba instrumen uji validitas dan uji reabilitas analisis data hasil penelitian uji normalitas uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan seluru guru BK MTs dan MA Kantor Kementerian Agama Kab. Rejang Lebong menunjukkan bahwa (a) Kompetensi Guru Bimbingan Konseling Sebelum Dilakukan Pelatihan Google Sites. Terdapat 4 (13%) kategorikan sedang, 12 (40%) kategorikan sedang rendah dan 14 (47%) kategorikan sangat rendah. (b) Kinerja Guru Bimbingan Konseling Sebelum Dilakukan Pelatihan Terdapat 13 (43%) kategorikan cukup baik, 7 (23%) kategori kurang baik dan 10 (33) kategori sangat kurang baik. (c) Kompetensi Guru Bimbingan Konseling Sesudah Dilakukan Pelatihan Google Sites. Terdapat 5 (17%) kategorikan Sangat Baik dan 25 (83%) kategori baik. (d) Kinerja Guru Bimbingan Konselingan Sesudah Dilakukan Pelatihan Google Sites. Terdapat 14 (47%) kinerja kategorikan sangat baik dan 16 (53%) kategori baik. (e) Efektivitas Penggunaan Teknologi Google Sites Sudah Dapat Meningkatkan Kompetensi Dan Kinerja Guru Bimbingan Konseling. Menunjukkan bahwa skor rata-rata pre-test pada kompetensi guru BK pada pelatihan google sites sebesar 34,9 - 81,7 pada skor post-test. Sedangkan skor rata-rata pre-test pada kinerja guru BK pada pelatihan google sites sebesar 35,6 - 76,83 pada skor post-test. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan teknologi google sites dapat untuk meningkatkan kompetensi dan kinerja guru BK dalam memanfaatkan google sites dalam layanan bimbingan dan konseling di madrasah.

Abstract

Advances in digital technology have created substantial opportunities for instructional innovation, particularly in higher education institutions facing limitations in physical facilities such as computer laboratories. This study aims to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of a blended learning model supported by Google Classroom as a solution to the shortage of computer laboratories in the Information and Communication Technology course. The research method employed was research and development with an instructional design approach based on the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data were collected through observations, interviews, questionnaires, and analysis of student performance within the blended learning environment. The findings revealed that the blended learning model not only enhanced students’ learning independence but also improved teaching effectiveness by optimizing digital resources. Moreover, the implementation of Google Classroom provided flexibility in accessing materials, facilitated more dynamic interaction, and reduced the operational burden on computer laboratories. The novelty of this research lies in the integration of digital instructional strategies with the specific needs of faith-based higher education institutions, which remain underexplored in the higher education literature. Accordingly, this study contributes to the development of adaptive instructional models that can be applied in other educational institutions facing similar infrastructural constraints.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the competence of Islamic Religious Education teachers in the use of technology for online learning during the Covid 19 pandemic at SMP N Muara Kulam, North Musi Rawas Regency. This research is a qualitative research, the subject consists of the principal, PAI teacher, vice principal of students, parents/guardians of students. The data were obtained by observation and interview techniques, the data were analyzed using the data reduction method, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of the study, found several problems in the application of online learning at SMP Negeri Muara Kulam while the most basic problems were the unavailability of adequate wifi and internet networks, lack of support from parents / guardians of students for online learning, so that the learning process became hampered. In conclusion, the application and use of technology for learning by PAI teachers at SMP Negeri Muara Kulam is considered ineffective and not feasible to apply, due to several obstacles found as a result of the research. This condition is our collective duty, both principals, PAI teachers and all stakeholders to jointly find solutions to these problems, for the sake of the interests and progress and development of Islamic Religious Education technology.
