Abstract

This community engagement initiative was carried out through collaboration between a religious service organization responsible for pilgrimage operations and faculty members from a digital business study program at a public university. The program was motivated by the organization’s challenges in managing its social media content, which included unstructured information flow, inconsistent distribution, and suboptimal visual design. The intervention involved a structured mentoring process covering content documentation, content creation, and news script development. The results demonstrated a noticeable improvement in social media engagement, reflected in higher interaction and responsiveness from the audience. Indirectly, the activity also enhanced the quality of service delivery by ensuring that information for the families of pilgrims was communicated more quickly, clearly, and reliably. These outcomes highlight the value of collaborative capacity-building in digital communication for public and religious service organizations. The study contributes practical insights into how community-based interventions can strengthen digital media strategies to support transparency, trust, and service quality in the era of digital information.

Abstract

This study aims to determine factors that influence the use of information technology in higher education, especially at Makassar State University. The type of information technology studied is academic information systems. This study combines two theories, namely the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and The Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) to explain the user behavior for the use of academic information systems at Makassar State University. The results of this study indicate that perceived usefulness and ease of use significantly affect user behavioral intention to use academic information systems. Behavioral intention significantly affected actual use of the academic information system. An interesting finding is that the facilities available for the use of the system in the campus environment have no significant effect on the use of the academic information system at Makassar State University.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze service quality in the banking sector in Indonesia. We will conduct consumer sentiment analysis on the use of the BCA Mobile application which is used to provide online services to consumers by Bank Central Asia (BCA). Data mining will be carried out to obtain consumer review data on the Google Play Store. The target amount of data is a maximum of 1,000 data. The data will then be analyzed to produce word clouds, topic modeling and sentiment analysis to produce dimensions that influence service quality. Analysis was carried out using the Orange Data Mining Application. The analysis results show dimensions that receive positive, negative and neutral sentiment from BCA Mobile users in Indonesia.Keywords: service quality, data mining, word cloud, topic modeling, sentiment analysis.

Abstract

The tourism sector plays a crucial role in driving Indonesia's economy. Pinrang Regency, with its diverse natural tourist attractions, holds significant potential for tourism development. This study aims to design and develop the Marvelous Pinrang platform to enhance the tourism sector in Pinrang Regency. The platform is designed using the WordPress CMS, featuring destination information, interactive maps, media galleries, and user comments. The platform's usability was evaluated using the System Usability Scale (SUS). The results indicate a high usability score, suggesting that the platform can effectively support tourism activities in Pinrang Regency. The development of this platform is expected to increase public awareness of the tourism potential in Pinrang Regency and attract more visitors to the region. By leveraging digital technology, the Marvelous Pinrang platform provides an accessible and user-friendly solution for promoting local destinations. Furthermore, the platform serves as a tool for fostering collaboration between local governments, businesses, and communities to strengthen the tourism ecosystem in Pinrang Regency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menyelidiki implementasi Microsoft Power BI sebagai alat analisis Key Performance Indicators (KPI) untuk meningkatkan pengendalian operasional di PT. Mandiri Harapan Jaya. Penelitian ini berfokus pada proyek konstruksi yang dikelola oleh departemen EPC PT. Vale Indonesia Tbk. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen perusahaan untuk membuat dashboard yang memberikan informasi real-time mengenai kemajuan proyek, kinerja tenaga kerja, keselamatan, dan manajemen biaya. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Power BI meningkatkan akurasi data, memfasilitasi pengambilan keputusan lebih cepat, dan meningkatkan efisiensi manajemen proyek. Hasil utamanya mencakup peningkatan produktivitas tenaga kerja, pengendalian biaya yang lebih baik, dan waktu pelaksanaan proyek yang lebih optimal. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pemahaman teoritis manajemen konstruksi dan menawarkan manfaat praktis bagi PT. Mandiri Harapan Jaya dan industri konstruksi yang lebih luas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sentimen pengguna Twitter terhadap kendaraan listrik menggunakan teknik pembelajaran mesin. Data dikumpulkan dari Twitter dengan menggunakan kata kunci terkait kendaraan listrik. Data yang diperoleh diolah melalui beberapa tahap seperti pembersihan data, tokenisasi, dan stemming. Selanjutnya, data dianalisis menggunakan tiga algoritma pembelajaran mesin: Support Vector Machine (SVM), Naive Bayes Classifier (NBC), dan Random Forest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa algoritma SVM memberikan akurasi terbaik dalam mengklasifikasikan sentimen pengguna. Berdasarkan analisis diagram tulang ikan, ditemukan bahwa sentimen negatif pengguna terutama disebabkan oleh delapan faktor utama: baterai, infrastruktur pengisian daya, biaya awal, jangkauan, dukungan kebijakan, kinerja, variasi model, dan keandalan. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan bagi produsen kendaraan listrik untuk meningkatkan kualitas produk dan kepuasan pelanggan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sentimen ulasan netizen terhadap aplikasi Disney+ Hotstar pada aplikasi Google Play Store menggunakan machine learning. Dalam penelitian ini, data dikumpulkan dari laman ulasan aplikasi Disney+Hotstar pada aplikasi Google Play Store. Data yang diperoleh kemudian diproses melalui beberapa tahap seperti pembersihan data, tokenisasi, dan stemming. Selanjutnya, data dianalisis menggunakan dua algoritma machine learning, yaitu Naive Bayes Classifier (NBC) dan Support Vector Machine (SVM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa algoritma SVM memberikan akurasi terbaik dalam mengklasifikasikan sentimen ulasan netizen. Berdasarkan hasil analisis topik ulasan menunjukkan bahwa pada kelas sentimen positif, topik yang sering dibicarakan meliputi aspek layanan yang disediakan. Pada kelas sentimen negatif, topik yang dominan berfokus pada masalah teknis kinerja aplikasi. Sedangkan pada kelas sentimen netral, topik yang dibicarakan berfokus pada deskripsi tentang aplikasi tanpa adanya penilaian emosional.

Abstract

The background for this service activity is that the website usage level in the sub-district in providing information and services quickly and in real-time still needs to be higher. Therefore, efforts are required to provide education and technical skills for designing a village website. This activity will be carried out in Bontonompo Village, Gowa Regency on may 18, 2023. This Community Partnership Program activity is carried out as a Bontonompo Village Profile Website Design Training, providing online media for communication, information, and services, especially for the urban village community and the general public visiting the Bontonompo Village. This training activity used the lecture and demonstration method, which lasted for one day with twenty participants who were representatives from all Bontonompo Sub-district Offices, Gowa Regency. The output of this training activity is the official website design for the Bontonompo Village, Gowa Regency. This design includes our home, profile, news, and contact pages. Apart from that, the follow-up program of this activity was also discussed between the Bontonompo Village and the Service Team in the form of Designing the Official Website for the Bontonompo Village and a Website-based Online Service Database.

Abstract

This study implements a digital marketing strategy via Instagram to increase sales at UD Akbar Lestari, a rattan craft MSME in Pangkep, Indonesia. Conventional, word-of-mouth marketing had constrained market reach, whereas social media enables visual storytelling and two-way interactions that strengthen brand awareness. We adopted a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the RACE framework—Reach, Act, Convert, Engage. Data were collected through interviews, observation, sales records, and Instagram Insights. The intervention comprised launching the official account @ud.akbarlestari, designing an informative profile, defining content pillars, scheduling posts, and deploying Feed, Reels, and Story formats with clear calls-to-action and a purchasing link in the bio. The study’s novelty lies in adapting RACE to a rural handicraft context and leveraging the local Pangkep dialect in Reels to deepen audience affinity. After one month, marketing performance improved markedly: the account reached 2,484 users and generated 4,771 impressions; there were 523 interactions from 122 accounts; 372 profile activities (330 visits; 42 external link clicks); and Linktree recorded 56 views with 27 clicks (48.21% CTR). Reels was the most effective format, achieving 1,840 views, reach of 1,211, 64 likes, 6 comments, and 37 shares. Business outcomes also strengthened, with sales increasing from IDR 11,341,500 to IDR 21,050,900 and evidence of repeat purchases, indicating emerging loyalty. In conclusion, RACE-based Instagram implementation effectively improves reach, engagement, conversion, and sales for craft MSMEs. We recommend maintaining content consistency, further optimizing Instagram features, and conducting regular Insight-driven evaluations to sustain performance gains.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation and evaluate the optimization of digital marketing in strengthening the branding of Aroma Palopo restaurant through digital platforms. The research method used is associative quantitative approach with data collection through questionnaires to 25 respondents who are active followers of the instagram account @aromapalopohjfatmawati, as well as documentation of the digital activities of the restaurant. Data analysis was conducted using brand awareness, brand recall, brand recognition, and unaware of brand indicators measured through a Likert scale of 1-5. The results showed that the digital marketing strategy of Aroma Palopo restaurant through instagram has been able to increase brand awareness in the category enough with an average score of 3.11. The brand recognition dimension received the highest score of 3.32, which indicates that the audience is able to recognize the logo and design of restaurant content on social media. Meanwhile, brand recall reached a value of 3.24, indicating that some respondents could remember the brand without seeing the logo or content directly, while the top of mind dimension was still low with a value of 3.04, indicating that the brand has not become the main choice of consumers. Video content (Reels) is considered the most effective in increasing interaction, therefore, upload consistency, visual storytelling, active interaction, and the use of paid advertising are recommended to strengthen branding on social media.
