Abstract

Guru merupakan ujung tombak dari terlaksananya pendidikan yang efektif di sekolah. Tujuan dari dilaksanakannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara work engagement dengan organizational citizenship behavior pada guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional yang melibatkan 68 guru SMA Negeri di Kecamatan X. Instrumen yang digunakan sebagai alat ukur pada penelitian ini adalah skala work engagement dan skala organizational citizenship behavior. Setelah data diperoleh, selanjutnya dilakukan analisis menggunakan uji korelasi pearson prodct moment. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan nilai signifikansi data sebesar 0.00 (p<0.05) dan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0.739 (r=0.739) yang artinya terdapat hubungan kuat antara work engagement dengan organizational citizenship behavior pada guru. Nilai koefisien korelasi juga menunjukkan bahwa kedua variabel memiliki hubungan searah yang berarti semakin tinggi work engagement, maka semakin tinggi pula organizational citizenship behavior pada kalangan guru.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi gambaran efikasi diri pada atlet taekwondo poomsae dengan menyoroti pengalaman partisipan dalam mengembangkan dan mempertahankan efikasi diri sepanjang perjalanan karier atlet taekwondo poomsae. Efikasi diri merupakan faktor psikologis penting yang memengaruhi performa atlet poomsae, dimana kategori poomsae melibatkan penilaian akurasi gerakan dan membutuhkan konsentrasi, serta ketahanan performa dan mental yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana seorang atlet poomsae dalam mempertahankan, membangun dan memperkuat efikasi diri yang meliputi aspek ketekunan, keyakinan diri dan kemampuan beradaptasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, melalui wawancara terstruktur mendalam dan observasi untuk memperoleh pemahaman terhadap self-efficacy atlet. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa partisipan memiliki tingkat self-efficacy yang tinggi sebagai atlet poomsae, partisipan mampu mempertahankan motivasi dan ketekunan meskipun sedang menghadapi tekanan, memiliki keyakinan diri melalui pengalaman, dan menyesuaikan strategi performa di berbagai situasi latihan dan pertandingan. Atlet dengan tingkat self-efficacy yang tinggi cenderung menunjukkan kemampuan adaptasi yang baik dan stabil dalam mengontrol emosi. Dari hasil penelitian mendalam ini self-efficacy adalah faktor penting dalam proses latihan atlet, serta menekankan pentingnya pengembangan motivasi internal, ketekunan dan fleksibilitas mental pada atlet. Penelitian ini bisa menjadi tolak ukur bagi pelatih dan juga atlet lain dalam mengembangkan strategi untuk meningkatkan performa dan pengelolaan psikologis di dunia atlet olahraga. Abstract This study explores the self-efficacy profile of a taekwondo poomsae athlete, focusing on the participant’s experiences in developing, maintaining, and reinforcing self-efficacy throughout their athletic journey. Self-efficacy is a crucial psychological factor influencing poomsae performance, a discipline that demands precision, accuracy, concentration, and both physical and mental endurance. The study aims to describe how a poomsae athlete sustains and strengthens self-efficacy through perseverance, self-confidence, and adaptive coping strategies. A qualitative case study approach was employed using in-depth structured interviews and systematic observations to understand the athlete’s psychological processes related to self-efficacy. The findings reveal that the participant demonstrates a high level of self-efficacy, maintaining motivation and persistence under pressure, showing strong self-belief formed through experience, and effectively adapting performance strategies across training and competition contexts. Athletes with high self-efficacy tend to exhibit better emotional control, mental adaptability, and stability during competition. In conclusion, this study underscores the importance of fostering internal motivation, perseverance, and mental flexibility as key components of athletic performance. Self-efficacy plays a vital role in training, contributing not only to performance consistency but also to long-term psychological resilience. These insights provide valuable implications for coaches and athletes in developing strategies to enhance psychological strength and performance quality in competitive sports.

Abstract

Komitmen organisasi mengacu pada sikap individu terhadap organisasinya yang didasari oleh hubungan afektif, kontinuans, maupun normatif. Studi sebelumnya menunjukkan bahwa komitmen organisasi mengarah ke loyalitas pegawai dan kinerja yang lebih baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi komitmen organisasi pada pegawai. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi literatur pada artikel-artikel hasil penelitian yang dipublikasikan di jurnal internasional dengan akses terbuka (open access). Penelusuran jurnal internasional pada rentang tahun 2019-2024 menggunakan beberapa laman seperti Science Direct dan Directory of Open Access Journal (DOAJ) dan diperoleh 12 artikel yang sesuai dengan kriteria. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 3 (tiga) faktor yang mempengaruhi komitmen organisasi yaitu; faktor individu, faktor pekerjaan, dan faktor organisasi. Temuan lain adalah belum ada penelitian yang membahas mengenai intervensi yang dapat meningkatkan komitmen organisasi baik dalam setting individu, pekerjaan atau organisasi sehingga dapat dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut untuk mengembangkan penelitian terkait intervensi pada komitmen organisasi.

Abstract

Mengingat tingginya angka pengangguran pada lulusan perguruan tinggi yang terjadi akibat ketidaksesuaian kebutuhan perusahaan dengan calon tenaga kerja, maka kesiapan kerja pada mahasiswa perlu untuk dipersiapkan dengan baik sejak di bangku perkuliahan. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi terkait faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kesiapan kerja pada mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam tulisan ini adalah dengan literature review pada jurnal nasional dengan rentang waktu tahun 2019-2024 yang menggunakan subjek mahasiswa Indonesia. Berdasarkan 10 jurnal yang dikaji, diperoleh faktor internal dan faktor eksternal yang mempengaruhi kesiapan kerja mahasiswa. Faktor internal meliputi career planning, adversity quotient, self efficacy, modal psikologis, pengalaman magang atau PKL, soft skill, motivasi memasuki dunia kerja, dan kemampuan manajerial. Sedangkan, faktor eksternal terdiri dari dukungan sosial. Kata Kunci: Kesiapan kerja, literature review, mahasiswa

Abstract

While extensive research has examined the relationship between gaming and aggression, few studies have focused on the factors that mediate the connection between trash-talking behavior and aggressive outcomes in multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) games. This study addresses this gap by investigating the role of screen time as a mediator between trash-talking and aggressive behaviors in young players of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB). Unlike previous research that primarily explored direct links between gaming and aggression, this study introduces screen time as a novel variable that influences this relationship. The study sampled 390 gamers aged 10 to 24 years, all enrolled at Southern Luzon State University in Lucban, Quezon, Philippines. Key variables, including verbal aggression, hostility, and anger, were assessed using standardized questionnaires, along with measures of trash-talking attitudes and screen time. Using mediation analysis, the study identified screen time as a key factor that explains the relationship between trash-talking and aggression. The findings revealed that trash-talking indirectly contributes to aggressive behavior through prolonged gaming exposure. In other words, the negative effects of trash-talking on aggression are amplified by increased screen time. This discovery offers a fresh perspective by highlighting screen time as a critical channel through which trash-talking influences aggression. The results underscore the importance of addressing both toxic communication and excessive screen time to foster a healthier and more sustainable gaming environment. As mobile gaming continues to dominate youth leisure activities, these findings provide actionable insights for developing interventions that reduce aggression and encourage positive competition in esports

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the mediating role of perceived organizational support in the relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment among public sector employees. The background of this research arises from the phenomenon of disparities in employees’ attachment and loyalty, despite some exhibiting high levels of job satisfaction, highlighting the need to understand the psychological mechanisms linking job satisfaction to organizational commitment. This study employed a quantitative correlational survey design involving 120 employees with a minimum tenure of one year. Data were collected using the Job Satisfaction Survey, the Survey of Perceived Organizational Support, and the Organizational Commitment Questionnaire. Analysis was conducted using PROCESS Macro Model 4 with 5,000 bootstrap samples. The results show that job satisfaction significantly predicts POS (β = 0.32, p < 0.001), and POS significantly predicts organizational commitment (β = 0.37, p < 0.001). Job satisfaction also exerts a significant direct effect on organizational commitment (β = 0.28, p < 0.001). The indirect effect through POS is 0.12, with a 95% confidence interval of 0.04–0.24, indicating partial mediation. These findings suggest that job satisfaction and perceived organizational support jointly contribute to strengthening employees organizational commitment in the public sector.

Abstract

Career adaptability has emerged as a critical competency for university students navigating uncertain academic and professional environments. Based on Career Construction Theory, this study methodically examined recent empirical research (2020–2025) to identify psychological predictors of career adaptability among student populations. A comprehensive search of PubMed and ScienceDirect, conducted in accordance with PRISMA 2020 standards, yielded twelve papers that met the inclusion criteria. The findings identified two broad categories of predictors: dispositional factors that align with the theory of adaptive readiness, such as proactive personality, Core self-evaluation, emotional regulation, and emotional skills; and novel predictors that represent the contextual and developmental realities of students, such as academic engagement, thinking styles, peer support, self-reflection, psychological capital, grit, and basic psychological needs satisfaction. Findings suggest that while Rudolph et al.’s adaptive readiness model provides a useful foundation, it requires refinement to integrate motivational, reflective, and contextual processes specific to higher education. According to the study's findings, career adaptability is best seen as a multifaceted concept influenced by social settings, coping mechanisms, and personal characteristics. In order to prepare students for the uncertainties of the job market of the twenty-first century, institutions must provide interventions that enhance both personal resources and relational support.

Abstract

Studi yang dilaksanakan mempunyai tujuan dalam mengidentifikasi peran grit terhadap eksplorasi karier pada siswa Madrasah Aliyah. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah masih terbatasnya kajian mengenai faktor psikologis yang memengaruhi eksplorasi karier di lingkungan pendidikan Islam. Studi yang dilaksanakan mempergunakan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui metode survei dan desain korelasional, serta analisis regresi sederhana. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 311 siswa kelas XI pada salah satu Madrasah Aliyah di Surabaya yang diambil melalui teknik convenience sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Grit-S dan Career Exploration Survey. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan korelasi Pearson Product Moment dan regresi linier sederhana. Temuan studi mengindikasikan jika grit berperan positif dan signifikan terhadap eksplorasi karier (r = 0,478; p < 0,001). Berarti, kian tinggi tingkat grit siswa, semakin aktif mereka dalam mengeksplorasi pilihan karier. Kontribusi variabel grit terhadap eksplorasi karier sebesar 14,3%.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the relationship between work engagement and organizational citizenship behavior among government employees through organizational commitment as a mediating variable. The problem identified in this study is the low level of work engagement among some employees who admit to feeling bored with their work. In addition, employee citizenship behavior is not yet optimal, employees are less open to existing working conditions and facilities, communication between employees is still often not smooth, and cooperation is not yet consistent when colleagues are absent. The present study employs a quantitative approach, utilising purposive sampling of 114 employees with a minimum service duration of 1 year. The data were collected through the administration of an online questionnaire and subsequently analysed using SPSS with the PROCESS macro for mediation analysis. The findings indicate that organisational commitment serves as a complete mediator in the relationship between work engagement and organisational citizenship behaviour, as evidenced by an indirect effect size of 0.38 (95% CI [0.16, 0.75]). This finding suggests that work engagement alone is insufficient to generate organizational citizenship behavior; instead, strong emotional commitment to the organization is a necessary condition for translating work engagement into extra-role behavior in the public sector context.

Abstract

Pegawai pemerintah memiliki peran penting dalam menjalankan roda pemerintahan dan reformasi birokrasi. Efektivitas kinerja pegawai dapat dipengaruhi oleh Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), namun ditemukan masih terdapat kekurangan dalam kualitas dan kecepatan layanan yang diberikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) pada pegawai pemerintah di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah literature review dengan menganalisis 14 artikel penelitian terpilih yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2019-2023. Pencarian literatur dilakukan melalui database Google Scholar dan Garuda dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi yang telah ditentukan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) pada pegawai pemerintah dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan eksternal. Faktor internal meliputi kepribadian, kecerdasan emosional, dan kemampuan kerja pegawai. Sementara faktor eksternal mencakup kepuasan kerja, komitmen organisasi, gaya kepemimpinan, budaya organisasi, dan persepsi keadilan. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan bagi organisasi pemerintahan dalam memahami dan mengoptimalkan faktor-faktor yang dapat meningkatkan OCB pegawai, dengan memperhatikan faktor-faktor tersebut, organisasi dapat menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang kondusif untuk mendorong OCB, sehingga dapat meningkatkan efektivitas, efisiensi, dan kinerja organisasi secara keseluruhan.
