Abstract

This community service program aims to develop the arts and crafts skills of elementary school-aged children in Pampang Village, Panakkukang District, Makassar City. The training program is designed to provide a creative learning experience based on a participatory, educational, and fun approach. A total of 34 children were actively involved in the three-day training, with materials including collage art, crafts based on recycled materials, and expressive drawing. The training method uses learning-by-doing techniques and daily reflection to encourage the development of children's fine motor skills, creativity, and social character. Evaluation results showed that 88% of children participated fully in the activities, and more than 91% expressed enthusiasm. Pre-test and post-test scores also showed an increase in art understanding from an average of 56 to 87. In addition, facilitators noted an increase in the children's self-confidence, initiative, cooperation, and social responsibility. The impact of this program is not only visible in the children's work, but also in changes in their attitudes and social interactions during the training. To ensure sustainability, the Pampang Children's Creative Class Community was established as a forum for continued development.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has transformed the global business landscape, presenting both opportunities and challenges for organizations. This study examines the integration of strategic management and organizational culture as a critical factor in enhancing corporate resilience in the digital era. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected from selected medium- and large-scale companies in Indonesia across diverse sectors, including manufacturing, technology, finance, and services. The findings reveal that strategic alignment between digital initiatives and cultural values significantly strengthens organizations’ adaptability to technological disruptions and market uncertainties. The study highlights the pivotal role of digital leadership in bridging strategic objectives with cultural practices. Leaders who promote innovation, collaboration, and flexibility were found to inspire employees to engage in continuous learning and proactive adaptation, thereby reinforcing resilience. Moreover, organizations with adaptive and innovation-driven cultures demonstrated greater capability in responding quickly to market changes and crises. Human resource practices aligned with cultural values further enhanced employee engagement and commitment, supporting the implementation of strategic initiatives effectively. In addition, the use of digital tools such as cloud-based systems and predictive analytics, combined with transparent communication with stakeholders, was identified as a key enabler of resilience. These tools not only improved operational efficiency but also strengthened stakeholder trust, ensuring continued support during uncertain times. Overall, the integration of strategic management and organizational culture, supported by digital leadership and technology, creates a comprehensive framework for building sustainable resilience. The study offers valuable insights and practical recommendations for organizations seeking to adapt and thrive in an increasingly dynamic and competitive digital business environment.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of workload, time flexibility, income security, and technological support on employee productivity in the gig economy. The research employs a quantitative approach using survey data collected from gig workers across the JABODETABEK region. Multiple linear regression analysis was applied to evaluate the partial and simultaneous relationships among the variables. The results show that all four independent variables significantly influence productivity. Workload positively affects productivity when maintained at an optimal level, while time flexibility provides the strongest individual effect by improving motivation and work–life balance. Income security also contributes significantly to productivity by ensuring financial stability and reducing stress related to income uncertainty. Among the variables, technological support exhibits the most dominant effect, enhancing efficiency and enabling smoother digital collaboration. The simultaneous test results further confirm that the interaction of workload, flexibility, income stability, and technological support produces a substantial and statistically significant influence on productivity. The findings of this study suggest that sustainable productivity among gig workers is determined by the synergistic balance of workload management, flexible scheduling, income stability, and technological integration within digital work environments. Abstract

The rapid growth of the gig economy in Indonesia has transformed the nature of digital work, offering flexibility yet creating challenges related to job security and performance. This study aims to analyze the influence of task clarity, technology access, social support, and motivation on the performance of gig workers in Indonesia. A quantitative descriptive approach was used by distributing online questionnaires to 300 digital platform workers across the Greater Jakarta area. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression after meeting the requirements of validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. The results show that social support and motivation have a significant positive effect on performance, while task clarity and technology access show a positive but insignificant relationship. The findings indicate that psychosocial factors contribute more strongly to gig workers’ performance than structural or technical aspects. These results imply that maintaining social connections and intrinsic motivation is crucial for sustaining productivity in flexible digital work environments. This study is limited to respondents in urban areas and does not include qualitative insights from workers’ lived experiences. Future research is suggested to expand the sample across regions and integrate qualitative analysis to better understand the dynamics of digital labor in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study investigates the effects of digital marketing capability and product innovation capability on sales performance among Indonesian micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the digital economy era. Using a quantitative, explanatory design, data were collected through a structured survey of MSME owners/managers and analyzed using ordinary least squares (OLS) regression in EViews. Sales performance was operationalized as a sales-oriented metric suitable for econometric estimation, while digital marketing and product innovation were measured as composite indices derived from Likert-scale items capturing routine execution and renewal intensity. Classical assumption diagnostics were conducted to support valid inference, including residual normality, heteroskedasticity, and multicollinearity checks; where needed, White robust standard errors were applied to address heteroskedasticity. The results demonstrate that both digital marketing capability and product innovation capability have positive and statistically significant relationships with MSME sales performance. Digital marketing capability shows a slightly stronger estimated effect, indicating that consistent digital routines—such as channel orchestration, content discipline, responsive customer interaction, and basic performance monitoring—are closely linked to improved sales outcomes. Product innovation capability also contributes significantly, suggesting that continuous renewal through quality improvement, new variants, and packaging/design enhancements strengthens differentiation and supports sales growth. The findings imply that MSME competitiveness in digital markets is best supported by integrating market-facing execution (digital marketing) with value reinforcement (product innovation), rather than relying on platform adoption alone. Practically, MSMEs should institutionalize measurable digital marketing processes while embedding structured innovation cycles that convert market feedback into product renewal. Policymakers and support institutions should prioritize capability-building programs tied to measurable performance outcomes. Future research may extend this model using longitudinal data and sector-specific moderators to capture delayed innovation effects and sustainability of sales gains. Keywords: digital marketing capability; product innovation capability; sales performance; MSMEs; digital economy; Indonesia.
