Abstract

Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi keuangan dan keterampilan kewirausahaan di kalangan masyarakat melalui penyelenggaraan workshop, pelatihan, pendampingan, dan mentoring. Identifikasi masalah yang dihadapi mencakup rendahnya pemahaman masyarakat tentang literasi keuangan dan keterbatasan akses terhadap pelatihan kewirausahaan. Analisis masalah menunjukkan adanya kesenjangan dalam pemahaman konsep dasar keuangan dan manajemen bisnis, serta minimnya pengalaman praktis dalam penerapannya di kehidupan sehari-hari. Strategi pemecahan masalah dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan Partisipatoris Aksi Penelitian (PAR), yang melibatkan masyarakat dalam setiap tahap perencanaan dan pelaksanaan. Melalui workshop interaktif, pelatihan manajemen keuangan bisnis, serta mentoring berkelanjutan, diharapkan terjadi peningkatan literasi keuangan, kemampuan merencanakan dan mengelola bisnis, serta terbentuknya komunitas kewirausahaan yang mandiri dan berdaya saing. Hasil yang dicapai menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman keuangan dan keterampilan kewirausahaan peserta. Saran untuk pengembangan program ini meliputi penguatan mentoring berkelanjutan, penerapan teknologi dalam pengelolaan usaha, dan perluasan jangkauan program untuk menjangkau komunitas yang lebih luas. Implikasi dari program ini adalah penguatan ekonomi lokal melalui pemberdayaan masyarakat dan pengembangan kewirausahaan berbasis nilai-nilai Islami

Abstract

In education, there are still many problems with the performance of employees, school principals, or education providers that are not satisfactory. In a country, quality human resources will provide the welfare of its people. Therefore, improving the welfare of the Indonesian people must be based on the development of quality services and education. This study aims to describe the distribution of tutors, assess their professionalism, and produce policy recommendations for the Open University in general. This type of research is a survey with a research sample of 258 tutors, namely 127 male (49.2%) and 131 female (50.8%). The instrument used is a professionalism questionnaire comprising six constructs with a Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.924. The technique used to analyze the data is quantitative descriptive analysis and inferential statistics. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between income, age, years of service, rank, and professional work status (P<0.05), but there was no relationship between gender and professionalism (P>0.05). This study recommends the need to recruit new tutors considering that many tutors are over 50 years old. There are also some tutors with Bachelor's degrees who need to be upgraded to tutors with Masters or even Doctoral degrees.

Abstract

To maintain the continuity of science education through practicum/experimental activities, teachers have several problems in developing alternative simple science teaching aids which are easier and more affordable to provide and simple to use because they do not break easily. This study aims to analyze the level of satisfaction of the Community Service Program based on the problems faced by Elementary School and Early Childhood Education Teachers. This research is a cross-sectional study using a satisfaction survey of the assistance that has been carried out. The research subjects involved in this study were 30 participants who would be assessed in this study. The results showed that the Community Service Program succeeded in overcoming the problems faced by Elementary School and Early Childhood Education Teachers. This is evidenced by the high participation of teachers in participating in training and the success of teachers in developing educational teaching aids. This research has clear implications in developing innovative alternative media in the field of science.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the mental inadequacies of students who can hinder the goals of education and teaching in the school environment. Therefore, mental health guidance is needed through religious formation. Based on these phenomena, this study aims: 1) to find out the efforts made by teachers in developing religious and mental health of students in MAN Indragiri Hilir; and 2) to analyze the presence or absence of the influence of religious guidance on the mental health of students in MAN Indragiri Hilir. The research method used was a quantitative study conducted on 56 students. Data collected through observation, interviews and questionnaires. After the data is collected completely, a data analysis is done using a simple linear regression test with the help of SPSS version 23.00 for Windows. The results obtained from this study include: 1) religious guidance conducted by teachers in mentally developing students, including: habituation of Dhuha prayer, Dhuhr prayer in congregation, reading Asmaul Husna and giving Jariyah every Friday in each class. While activities outside of effective learning hours include social service and apostolic assembly; and 2) there is an influence of religious guidance on the mental health of students by 53.7% on mental health in MAN 2 Indragiri Hilir

Abstract

The Child-Friendly Education Unit (Satuan Pendidikan Ramah Anak/CEA) is a significant government program grounded in the Law on Child Protection since 2002 and Presidential Decree No. 36 of 1990, reaffirmed in Article 28C of the Constitution as the state’s commitment to ensuring children’s educational rights. However, various schools still face issues of violence and discrimination. This study aims to explore and analyze the governance and development model of the CEA across different religions and educational levels in Indonesia so that it can serve as a reference and best practice for other institutions. The CEA model is founded on five principles: non-discrimination, the best interests of the child, the right to life and development, respect for children’s views, and good governance. Its implementation involves six components: (1) written policies on CEA, (2) child-friendly learning processes, (3) educators trained in children’s rights, (4) child-friendly infrastructure, (5) child participation, and (6) involvement of parents, communities, the private sector, and alums. This research employs a qualitative approach to in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. Respondents were selected purposively from various school levels and religions. At the same time, Meanwhile, qualitative insights were derived from FGDs and interviews. The study identifies empirically tested components and offers strategic recommendations. The research outputs include publications in reputable journals and potential intellectual property rights (IPR). The findings are expected to contribute to national efforts to address root issues in child-friendly education.

Abstract

The understanding of spiritual doctrine becomes the reason, and it causes an escalation in violence in the name of religion. Misinterpreting the Qur'an verses causes the doer to legalize the violence they do. This article presents the responses of Islamic higher education students in Riau Province and Riau Islands about the interpretation of violent verses in the Qur’an and Hadith. The sample consisted of 251 students from UIN Sultan Syarif Kasim in Riau, STAIN Bengkalis, and STAIN Abdurrahman Saleh in Riau Islands using a random sampling technique. Using descriptive analysis, the students’ responses against the interpretation of violent verses were categorized as fairly positive at 61%. It indicates that 39% of the students had a negative response. Hence, this study recommends the importance of efforts to “neutralize” the students’ understanding of the three Islamic higher education in Riau to prevent their tendency to have harsh or even radical understanding and responses.

Abstract

The problem in learning mathematics today is that students' mathematics learning outcomes are still low, this is because students are less able to understand mathematical concepts and problem solving. The socio-cultural environment in mathematics can increase students' social interaction in learning mathematics. The process of learning mathematics should be associated with the socio-cultural environment of students. This study aims to analyze problem solving mathematics learning based on Riau Malay culture on the subject of two-dimensional figures or flat shapes. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative research. This type of research was conducted at Junior High School 1 Bunga Raya, Siak Regency for the academic year 2021/2022. The results of this research are the Analysis of Mathematics Learning “Problem Solving” based on Riau Malay Culture on the subject of flat shapes at high, medium and low levels. The percentage at each level is high 83.8%, medium 12.9% and low 3.3%

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap konsep pendidikan karakter dalam surat Lukman dengan focus penelitian yang mencakup: 1) karakter manusia dalam al-Qur‘an surat Lukman 2) nilai karakter dalam surat Lukman, 3) proses penanaman nilai karakter yang terdapat dalam surat Lukman Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis study pustaka (library reseach). Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan content analysis. Dengan menggunakan langkah-langkah sebagai berikut: 1) memilih dan pengamatan secara cermat terhadap teks, 2) mengklasifikasi komponen pesan yang mengandung pendidikan karakter, 3) menganalisis data secara keseluruhan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa; 1. Karakter manusia dalam al-Qur‘an surat Lukman meliputi: a) muhsinin, b) kesalehan, c) kepedulian yang tinggi, d) rendah hati, e) sombong, f) dan kufur nikmat 2. Nilai karakter dalam surat Lukman meliputi: a) nilai iman/ tauhid, b) nilai birrul waalidain (berbakti kepada orang tua), c) nilai syukur, d) bijaksana, e) nilai sabar. 3. Proses penanaman nilai karakter dalam surat Lukman yang meliputi: a) tujuan pendidikan yang termuat dalam surat Lukman adalah merupakan proses penanaman nilai dalam upaya untuk membentuk insan kamil, manusia yang kaya akan nilai-nilai karakter yang bernuansa keislaman—bercerminkan pada akhlak nabi yang bersumber pada al-Qur‘an dan hadits, b) materi pendidikan Lukman terdiri dari akidah, syari‘ah, dan akhlak, c) untuk menanamkan nilai keimanan, akhlak, dan syari‘ah Lukman menggunakan metode maw‟izdhah (nasihat), qudwah (teladan), targhib (anjuran), tarhib (ancaman) dan metode larangan.

Abstract

This study aims at identifying the radicalism potential in senior high school students or equivalent levels including secondary schools and vocational schools in Riau Province. This study uses a survey design involving 230 students selected through random sampling consisting of 65 senior high school students, 100 vocational high school students, and 65 Islamic senior high school students. The collected data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The findings showed the radicalism potential of 20% in secondary school students, of 30.5% in vocational school students, and of 19.8% in Islamic secondary school students. Around 23.4% of the students were identified to have radicalism potential such as having fundamentalist behavior. The percentage obtained in this study is hoped to encourage the teaching of religious tolerance, universal morality, and formal education. Another implication for the people who are related to the education of youth is that they should pay more attention more to difficult social issues, especially those that are relevant to the use of social media.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi radikalisme pada siswa SMA/MA di Provinsi Riau. Designm penelitian ini menggunakan survey melibatkan 230 siswa yang diambil secara random sampling yang terdiri dari 65 siswa SMA, 100 siswa SMK, dan 65 SMA Islam. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan potensi radikalisme pada siswa SMA 20%, siswa SMK 30,5%, dan siswa MAN Islam 19,8%. Sekitar 23,4% siswa diidentifikasi memiliki potensi radikalisme seperti berperilaku fundamentalis. Persentase yang didapat dalam penelitian ini kurang sehingga diharapkan dapat dilaksanakan pengajaran tentang pentingnya toleransi beragama, akhlak, dan pendidikan formal. Implikasi lain bagi masyarakat yang terkait denganperan pemuda harus lebih memperhatikan kisruh yang ada, terutama yang relevan dengan penggunaan media sosial di era milenial ini

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the needs of teachers and students towards the online comic as the learning media. This research is a survey research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The sample in this study was 417 people consisting of 323 students, 55 teachers and 39 lecturers who were taken by stratified sampling and random. The research data was obtained from distributing questionnaires through google form and analyzed using the percentage formula. The findings obtained were: 1) 69.15% of teachers and 58.15% of students often use the audio-visual as the learning media; 2) the characteristics of the online comics that have been used by teachers and students have met good criteria with a percentage of 80.91%; 3) 84.04% of teachers and 74.92% of students have never used online comics as the learning media; 4) 93.26% of teachers and 92.26% of students are interested in using online comics as the learning media; 5) 97.87% of teachers and 97.52% of students want online comic designs to have a color combination; 6) 97.87% of teachers and 89.16% of students want a story in the form of a dialogue text. From the results of the study, it reveals that the online comics are needed as a media of learning among teachers and students. All in all, the research results can be used as information for researchers, further researchers or teachers in general as a reference for developing or using the learning media.
