Abstract

People who hold a position in society are expected to exhibit certain behaviors, or roles. In Islamic religious education, the teacher's job is to teach students how to develop into morally upright people. Islamic religious education is a form of education that imparts knowledge while also molding students' attitudes, personalities, and talents. Researchers employed a qualitative and descriptive technique in this investigation. This is so that information can be provided as simply as possible. The research seeks to describe the reality that exists without needing data in the form of numbers (quantitative), and it tries to describe a scenario and all of its components. researchers think is feasible. The goal of this study is to comprehend the situation or circumstances that exist in MTsS YATI KAMANG MUDIAK, where the worship services were held.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the significant effect of self confidence on students' critical thinking skills. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a significant effect of self-confidence on the ability to think critically mathematically.This type of research is correlational. The population in this study were all VIII grade students as many as 6 classes totaling 188 students. The research sample was taken randomly 30 students. The data in this study are in the form of self confidence questionnaire and mathematical critical thinking skills questions. The data analysis technique uses correlation analysis. The results of this study obtained t_0 = 3.391 and t_table = 1.70 at the real level α = 0.05. This shows that t_0> t_table which means H_(0) is rejected or H_1 is accepted which states that there is a significant effect of self confidence on the critical thinking skills of class VIII students. The effect of self-confidence on mathematical critical thinking ability is a moderate relationship with r_(Xy) = 0.54 and obtained a coefficient of determination of 29.16%

Abstract

This research aims to make it easier for students to understand material about prostration of gratitude, prostration of sahwi, and prostration of recitations in the subjects of Islamic Religious Education and Character by using the Critical Incident learning strategy. The Critical Incident Strategy (Important Experience) is a strategy to activate students from the start of learning, namely a strategy in which students must remember and describe their past experiences in accordance with the topic of the material being presented, then the teacher delivers the material by connecting the experiences of the students. The approach concept used is a qualitative approach. The method used is descriptive analysis method. This research was conducted by researchers at SMP Negeri 4 Bukittinggi class VII using the Critical Incident learning strategy for students to more easily understand the material about prostration of gratitude, prostration of sahwi, and prostration of recitations and applying it in everyday life. By using this Critical Incident strategy, less active students now become active, where these students are asked about their experiences related to getting favors from Allah SWT, avoiding danger, doubting or forgetting the number of rak'ahs, and when hearing or reading the sajdah verse. So the learning is not too difficult for students to understand because in these learning activities it is based on students' experiences and through the Critical Incident strategy that students more easily understand the material that has been presented.
