Abstract

This study aims to determine the marketing channels and marketing margins of palm sugar for each level of the institution in Puudongi Village, Polinggona District, Kolaka Regency. This research is a case study research. Primary data is obtained directly from palm sugar processing farmers while secondary data is in the form of statistical data, annual reports, research reports, journals and other data related to the topic of this study. The sample in this study were all palm sugar business actors in Puudongi Village as many as 7 people. The results showed that there are three main marketing channels in marketing palm sugar in Puudongi Village. . Marketing channel I is the most inefficient marketing channel because it has the longest marketing channel among the other two marketing channels.

Abstract

Sago plants are the main staple food in Southeast Sulawesi. Sago plants have various economic value for bioethanol, roofs, and carbohydrates. Community managed sago plantations by using an agro-industrial model. Although, sago processing has long been developed, but the community is still living in a low socio-economic condition. The allocation of sago agro-industry production factors is still not optimal, resulting in a fluctuative production, quality and productivity. This study analyzed the income of the sago agroindustry and formulated a strategy for the sago agroindustry development. The study was conducted in Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province. Sampling in this study was carried out by purposive sampling and total sampling. The analytical methods used include income analysis to analyze the income of the sago agroindustry, SWOT analysis to formulate strategies for the development of the sago agroindustry. The results showed that the income level of Konawe Regency’s sago agroindustry in a monthly sago processing was Rp. 14,205,770. The analysis results of sago agroindustry development strategy in Konawe Regency obtain five core strategies, focusing on packaging and labeling, production and marketing, training in seedling and management of the sago agroindustry, land conversion policy and sago price policy, and the sago agroindustry partnership program.

Abstract

Organic rice has good business opportunities to develop as consumers will get health benefits while producers will get better profits through higher selling prices. The marketing strategy that can be implemented in the marketing of organic rice is to use advances in information technology to promote organic rice, inform about the advantages and benefits of organic rice and obtain market information by using social media and other digital media. Apart from setting up a marketing strategy, it is also necessary to analyze internal factors and external factors. Abstract

Desa Rahabite yang terletak di Kabupaten Kolaka merupakan wilayah prioritas Program Kosabangsa tahun 2023. Permasalah utama petani yakni langkah dan mahalnya pupuk anorganik serta minimnya pengetahuan petani dalam memproduksi pupuk organik secara mandiri. Pengabdian Masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Desa Rahabite dengan mitra sasaran yaitu anggota Kelompok Tani Mekar Jaya. Metode Pelaksanaan yaitu Penyuluhan pupuk organik, Praktik pelatihan dan demonstrasi pembuatan pupuk organik. Hasil Pengabdian Masyarakat ini yaitu para petani mampu mengetahui dan melakukan seluruh tahapan pembuatan pupuk organik meliputi Persiapan alat dan bahan, Penyusunan bahan secara berlapis, Pencampuran, Fermentasi dan Finalisasi Produk.

Abstract

Kabupaten Pamekasan merupakan salah satu kabupaten yang memiliki luas hutan mangrove yang cukup luas. Luasnya hutan bakau ini ternyata belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal oleh masyarakat yang berada di sekitar pantai atau hutan mangrove. Salah satu kesalahan yang umum dan sering dilakukan oleh masyarakat adalah pengalihan fungsi hutan mangrove sebagai pelindung dari abrasi menjadi lahan garam. Hal ini sangat disayangkan, terlebih manfaat tidak langsung dapat diterima oleh berbagai pihak, salah satunya adalah masyarakat yang berada di sekitar hutan mangrove. Masalah utama dalam penelitian ini yakni masyarakat belum sepenuhnya memamfaatkan kawasan hutan mangrove, khususnya biji mangrove sebagai salah satu potensi pendapatan tambahan masyarakat. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini yakni, (1) mengidentifikasi kondisi wisata alam kopi mangrove di Desa Lembung, Galis, Pamekasan dan (2) menyusun strategi pengembangan wisata alam kopi mangrove di Desa Lembung, Galis, Pamekasan. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Selain itu, analisis ruang dan analisis SWOT juga dilakukan untuk mempertajam hasil kajian dan penelitian mengenai potensi dan tantangan pemanfaatan hutan mangrove di Desa Lembung, Kabupaten Pamekasan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hutan mangrove di Kabupaten Pamekasan dalam kondisi yang memprihatinkan. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan semakin maraknya upaya pengalihan fungsi hutan mangrove menjadi lahan garam. Partisipsi masyarakat yang tergabung dalam kelompok sadar wisata (Darwis) memberikan secercah cahaya agar pemanfaatan hutan mangrove benar-benar dapat dimanfaatkan secara optimal, salah satunya adalah pemanfaatan buah mangrove sebagai kopi mangrove. Peneliti memberikan rekomendasi agar Pemerintah dapat menangkap peluang, wisata alam kopi mangrove ini sebagai salah satu alternative destinasi wisata yang diharapkan mampu mendongkrak pendapata asli Daerah (PAD) Kabupaten Pamekasan. Dalam pengembangannya, Pemerintah juga harus memerhatikan beberapa aspek, di antaranya, aspek lingkungan, aspek sosial dan aspek ekonomi.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the channel and efficiency of marketing duck eggs in Puuroda Village, Baula District, Kolaka Regency. The research and data collection methods were surveys, observations, and interviews using a questionnaire. There are three marketing channels for duck eggs in Puuroda Village, Baula District, Kolaka Regency. Based on the farmer's share analysis results, the highest is retailer marketing channel I, with a farmer's share value of 100%. In contrast, the lowest is in marketing channel III, with a farmer share value of 71.42%. Based on the study results, it is recommended to lay duck breeders in Puuroda Village, Baula District, Kolaka Regency to sell duck eggs directly to consumers or directly to duck egg retailers.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara sebagai salah satu penghasil kakao terbesar di Indonesia ternyata menghadapi permasalahan utama yakni dalam hal penurunan produksi dan produktivitas kakao. Banyak faktor yang menjadi penyebabnya, salah satunya adalah belum terlaksananya konsep keberlanjutan dari Perkebunan kakao yang ada di Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara. Konsep ekonomi sirkular menjadi salah satu Upaya yang diusung oleh Wahana Visi Indonesia bekerjasama dengan Universitas Sembilanbelas November Kolaka melalui program cocoa-goat integration. Cocoa-Goat Integration merupakan program pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (community social responsibility) yang dilakukan oleh Wahana Visi Indonesia Sulawesi dimana fokus utamanya adalah pada kelompok petani kakao, istri petani kakao, dan remaja atau pemuda anak dari petani kakao yang ada di dua kabupaten utama penghasil Kakao di Sulawesi Tenggara, yakni Kabupaten Kolaka dan Kolaka Timur. Tujuan utama dari pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan keberhasilan program ini sehingga keberlanjutan produksi kakao dapat tercapai dalam Upaya peningkatan kesejahteraan petani kakao. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah ceramah, demonstrasi, diskusi (focus group discussion), bimbingan, dan praktek langsung. Hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah adanya perbaikan manajemen kelompok petani kakao binaan, perbaikan manajemen kendang dan kesehatan ternak dan tanaman kakao, peningkatan kemampuan mengolah limbah ternak dan kakao menjadi pupuk organik dan pupuk organik cair, dan peningkatan semangat lewirausahaan kelompok pemuda petani kakao. Kata Kunci: integrasi, kambing, kakao, manajemen, kewirausahaan ABSTRACT Southeast Sulawesi Province, as one of the largest cocoa producers in Indonesia, is facing major problems, namely the decline in cocoa production and productivity. Many factors are the cause, one of which is the lack of implementation of the sustainability concept for cocoa plantations in Southeast Sulawesi Province. The circular economy concept is one of the efforts promoted by Wahana Visi Indonesia in collaboration with Sembilanbelas November Kolaka University through the cocoa-goat integration program. Cocoa-Goat Integration is a community service program (community social responsibility) carried out by Wahana Visi Indonesia Sulawesi where the main focus is on groups of cocoa farmers, wives of cocoa farmers, and teenagers or young children of cocoa farmers in the two main cocoa producing districts. in Southeast Sulawesi, namely Kolaka and East Kolaka Regencies. The main objective of this service is to increase the success of this program so that the sustainability of cocoa production can be achieved in an effort to improve the welfare of cocoa farmers. The methods used in this service are lectures, demonstrations, discussions (focus group discussions), guidance, and direct practice. The results of this service are improvements in the management of groups of assisted cocoa farmers, improvements in drum management and the health of livestock and cocoa plants, increases in the ability to process livestock and cocoa waste into organic fertilizer and liquid organic fertilizer, and increases the entrepreneurial spirit of youth groups of cocoa farmers. Abstract

Tofu is a cheap staple food for people who are rich in nutritional content and relatively cheap purchasing power and of course all levels of society can consume it or buy it. Of course, tofu has been recognized by several neighboring countries, not only Indonesia, including Malaysia and Japan. In Anaiwoi Village, Tanggetada Subdistrict, a business was established with its production using soybeans as basic ingredients. Soybeans are used only to produce tofu and do not produce tempeh. The main objective of this study is to identify the home industry of “Karya Mandiri” tofu and tempeh through the identification of business profiles and marketing channels.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact felt by the community after participating in community service activities for the Village Community Service and Empowerment Grant Program (PHP2D). The analysis used is an analysis of the perceptions of the program recipients regarding their level of understanding, level of ability or skill, and level of income after the program ends. Respondents are the community recipients of the program so the method for determining respondents is the Purposive Sampling Method, totaling 30 people. The results of perception analysis using a Likert scale show that the level of understanding of the community has understood what has been conveyed in the program activities, with a percentage value of 60% of respondents understanding, the level of ability or skill of the community has changed greatly, with a percentage of 70% of respondents really understanding, while for the level of income The community is still in the fixed category, where the percentage value of 86.66% of respondents stated that there had been no change in income from the program.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bagaimana pola konsumsi rumahtangga nelayan suku Bajo Kelurahan Anaiwoi Kecamatan Tanggetada Kabupaten Kolaka selama pandemic covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi partisipasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 35 pola pola konsumsi rumahtangga nelayan suku Bajo di Kelurahan Anaiwoi dengan rata-rata konsumsi energi rumahtangga berada dalam kategori normal dengan tingkat konsumsi energinya sebesar 114,52% pada masa pandemic covid-19. Sedangkan untuk tingkat konsumsi proteinnya berada dalam kategori defisit tingkat sedang dengan nilai sebesar 75,03%. Hal ini disebabkan oleh kurangnya jumlah konsumsi pada bahan pangan yang mengandung nilai protein tinggi selama masa pandemic covid-19.
