Abstract

Digital transformation in the industrial era 4.0 has brought fundamental changes to marketing strategies, especially for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). This study aims to analyze the effect of social media use on increasing sales and income of fashion MSMEs in Serang City. Quantitative methods are used with a simple linear regression approach, and data collection through questionnaires to 61 MSME players. The results of the analysis show that the use of social media has a positive and significant effect on increasing sales and income. The normality test shows that the residuals of model Y2 are normally distributed, while model Y1 is not. In addition, the Glejser test results show indications of heteroscedasticity in both models. Nonetheless, the models remain valid for use as they meet the minimum sample size requirement. These findings confirm that strategic utilization of social media can improve the business performance of fashion MSMEs, so it is recommended as part of an adaptive digital strategy in facing competitive challenges in the era of digital transformation.

Abstract

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has emerged as a crucial determinant in business transformation, particularly for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). This research aims to delve deeply into how the implementation of ICT in MSMEs contributes to enhancing their competitiveness. The research method employed is descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach, where data were collected through interviews with MSME owners who have implemented information technology in their operations.The results indicate that the integration of ICT has provided significant positive impacts on MSMEs. One of the key benefits is the enhancement of operational efficiency, where the use of information systems has expedited business processes and reduced operational costs. Additionally, MSMEs that adopt information technology also have broader market access through online platforms and social media, thereby enhancing sales potential and business growth. However, the implementation of ICT in MSMEs also faces several challenges, such as high implementation costs, limited access to infrastructure, and concerns about data security. Therefore, strong support from the government, non-governmental organizations, and the private sector is needed to provide training, technical assistance, and necessary infrastructure for MSMEs to harness the full potential of ICT.

Abstract

The era of globalization is an era of competition, where all MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) compete with each other in order to survive and develop their businesses to a better one. The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that enable MSME innovation to increase the competitiveness of its products. The research method used is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data are obtained through the results of literature studies. The results showed that there are two factors that greatly influence MSME innovation in increasing their competitiveness, namely internal factors (human resources, finance, management, and technology) and external factors (market, competition, and government policies). This research provides recommendations to be able to increase competitiveness to innovate in its products, namely by developing new or improved products, improving production processes, developing new marketing strategies and building strong brands

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the magnitude of the influence of the importance of student purchasing power on the economy, especially traders who are around them. With the formulation of the problem includes where student pocket money comes from, what is the average amount of student money each month, what is the money for, and what is the effect of student purchasing power on traders around the campus. The research method used by researchers is a qualitative research method. The location of this research was conducted at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University, with the target respondents being students of S1 Management, D3 Marketing Management, and D3 Banking at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. The number of samples used was 28% of 250 students so around 70 respondents were obtained. Data collection techniques were carried out by distributing questionnaire links to students which were conducted online, and conducting interviews with targets, namely traders around the Untirta campus which were conducted offline. From the results of the study, the researchers found that many students were aware of the influence of their purchasing power to improve the economy of traders around the campus. From the results of the interviews, it was found that respondents (traders) around the campus stated that the purchasing power of students greatly influenced the merchant's economy. One of the impacts is that by returning to offline lectures, students are able to provide profits to traders from 50% to 200%, which can help stabilize the merchant's economy.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is that researchers want to analyze and examine the role of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) in the community's economy before the pandemic, during the pandemic, and after the Covid-19 pandemic with several UMKM owners around Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. Then the researcher wants to know whether the economy of some of these UMKM owners remains stable, increasing or vice versa, namely declining. The research method used is a qualitative method using a descriptive and interview approach. The results of this study show that from the sources we got, UMKM owners in the post-Covid-19 pandemic said that their economy has begun to recover but the benefits they get are not as good as before the Covid-19 pandemic

Abstract

This study aims to analyze oppurtunities, threats, and sales strategies through the Tiktok Shop and Tokopedua applications in the Tangerang area. Tiktok Shop and Tokopedia are two major E-Commerce platforms in Indonesia. Tiktok Shop utilizies short video trends and live streaming features to attract young consumers, while Tokopedia offers a strong E-Commerce infrastructure to support online transactions. E-Commerce is a process whereby buyers and sellers exchange information, money, and goods using electronic media. Data collection techniques were carried out through surveys targeting the community in the Tangerang area by distributing questionnaires and using documentation and literature studies that compiled secondary data from official documents published by the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises, APJII, Data Reportal, and the Tangerang City Communication and Information Agency. The result of this study show that the collaboration between Tiktok Shop and Tokopedia opens up enormous growth opportunities, especially for businesses in the Tangerang area. Tangerang is a region with rapid growth in internet users. The younger generation, who actively use tiktok for both entertainment and shopping, is a highly potential consumer segment. Through this collaboration, businesses can reach markets that were previously difficult to penetrate through traditional marketing methods.

Abstract

This study examines the role of human capital dimensions on the performance of educators in SDN 3 Penancangan, Serang City. Human capital is crucial in enhancing educational outcomes, particularly in primary schools where foundational learning takes place. This research focuses on four main dimensions of human capital: education, experience, skills, and motivation. The study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews to gather comprehensive data. Findings indicate a significant correlation between educators' human capital dimensions and their performance levels. Educational attainment and professional experience emerged as pivotal factors contributing to effective teaching practices. Furthermore, the study highlights the importance of continuous professional development and motivational strategies in sustaining educator performance. The implications of these findings underscore the necessity for targeted policies and interventions to enhance human capital among educators, thereby improving overall educational quality in primary schools.

Abstract

Era Industri 4.0 dan potensi menuju Industri 5.0 telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam dunia kerja, termasuk di bidang pendidikan. Perubahan ini tidak hanya mempengaruhi teknologi dan proses industri, tetapi juga memengaruhi perilaku dan keterampilan yang dibutuhkan oleh sumber daya manusia (SDM). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji perkembangan historis dari era Industri 4.0 ke 5.0 dan dampaknya terhadap perilaku SDM di SMP 14 Kota Serang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi terhadap para guru dan staf administrasi SMP 14 Kota Serang. Partisipan dipilih berdasarkan kriteria pengalaman dan peran mereka dalam menghadapi perubahan yang disebabkan oleh era industri 4.0. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola-pola utama terkait adaptasi SDM terhadap perubahan ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SDM di SMP 14 menghadapi berbagai tantangan dalam mengadaptasi diri terhadap era Industri 4.0. Tantangan utama meliputi perubahan dalam penggunaan teknologi baru dalam proses pembelajaran, perubahan paradigma dalam metode mengajar, dan peningkatan keterampilan digital. Faktor-faktor ini mempengaruhi secara signifikan perilaku dan performa SDM di sekolah tersebut. Pembahasan menguraikan berbagai strategi yang dapat diterapkan untuk meningkatkan adaptasi SDM terhadap era Industri 4.0. Strategi-strategi tersebut mencakup pengembangan program pelatihan yang lebih intensif dalam keterampilan digital, penyesuaian kurikulum yang lebih responsif terhadap kebutuhan industri 4.0, dan perluasan kolaborasi antara guru dan staf administrasi untuk memfasilitasi integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan perlunya pendekatan holistik dalam menghadapi tantangan era Industri 4.0 dan persiapan menuju era Industri 5.0 di lingkungan pendidikan. Hal ini mencakup investasi yang lebih besar dalam pengembangan profesional SDM, peningkatan infrastruktur teknologi di sekolah, dan dukungan yang berkelanjutan untuk inovasi pendidikan yang berorientasi pada teknologi.

Abstract

The development of MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) in Indonesia has been quite rapid, especially with the occurrence of the Covid-19 pandemic worldwide, which has dampened economies globally. Several studies have also found that MSMEs and cooperatives play a crucial role in driving local economic growth by creating new job opportunities, especially in underdeveloped areas. With the presence of MSMEs and support for digitalization through the utilization of e-commerce platforms, this becomes one of the essential strategies for MSME players in Indonesia, particularly in Serang City, to market and promote their products widely. The research method employed is a case study based on previous research on the impact of MSMEs that have adopted e-commerce. The research results indicate that the implementation of e-commerce has a significant positive influence on the growth of MSMEs in Serang City.
