Abstract

The quality assurance system at the State Islamic Higher Education in South Sulawesi is already running by using a variety of credible quality documents through a determination. These various quality documents are then carried out as a normative-academic reference in the quality assurance system for further evaluation. The evaluation results are then controlled by trying to find alternative solutions to various arising problems that are accompanied by efforts to improve the quality itself. The constraint of the quality assurance system is the maximum dissemination of various quality documents so that it triggers a refresive attitude among some of the academic community and their lack of attention to the applied quality assurance system. Another constraint faced is that the Islamic education paradigm has not been maximally accommodated in various quality policies with all its derivatives as well as the incomplete fulfillment of each standard. These various constraints tend to emerge beginning with the determination to then have implications for other Islamic education quality assurance cycles which in this case are the implementation, evaluation, control and improvement. Even on a macro scale, the Islamic education quality assurance system still dwells on the establishment, implementation, and evaluation and is still not maximal on control and improvement because there is an impression that quality assurance is carried out for pragmatic purposes, especially accreditation. The efforts made by the State Islamic Higher Education in South Sulawesi in overcoming various constraints to the quality assurance system are maximizing the socialization of the quality assurance system that is applied in each cycle starting from the establishment, implementation, evaluation, control and improvement. In addition, there is a need to adjust the quality assurance system policy with all its derivatives with the paradigm developed by the institution which is then accompanied by maximum fulfillment of each standard.

Abstract

Tulisan ini mencoba mengelaborasi tentang manajemen pembiayaan pperasional Pesantren Tahfizul Quran Imam Al-Syaatibi Bontoabaddo Gowa. Elaborasi dengan melakukan penelitian lapangan (feld research), bila dilihat dari jenis data adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan cara ukuran kuantitatif bentuk presentase Terhadap data penemuan dilapangan. Data diperoleh dari para pengelola pembiayaan Pesantren Tahfizul Quran Imam Al-Syaatibi Bontobaddo Gowa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan panduan observasi, pedoman wawancara dan data dokumentasi sebagai instrumen penelitian. Teknik pengolahan dan analisis data dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan sistem pembiayaan pendidikan di Pondok Pesantren Tahfizul Quran Imam Asy-Syaatibi Bantoabaddo gowa secara administratif telah menunjukkan tata kelola keuangan yang positif, bahkan cenderung sitematis meski masih terbilang manajemen pembukuan sangat sederhana. Sistem pembiayaan pendidikan pesantren yang diawali dari penganggaran (budgeting) benar-benar ditentukan berdasar pada hasil evaluasi tahun sebelumnya dan menerapkan skala prioritas dalam dua jangka penggunaan; yaitu jangka pendek yang dinamakan kebutuhan personalia, dan jangka Panjang yang dikenal dengan kebutuhan non personalia. Sedangkan dalam pembukuannya pada pesantren tersebut menerapkan sistem pembiayaann pendidikan dua sisi, yaitu pembukuan yang disesuaikan dengan peraturan perundang-undangan pemerintah yang nantinya akan disesuaikan dengan sumber dana lembaga pemerintah tersebut, dan pembukuan yang bersifat internal (sumber dana dari orang tua santri ataupun pihak lain yang san tetapi tidak mengikat). Untuk pengawasan (controlling), pesantren ini menerapkan elemen yang secara langsung dapat turut mengawasi jalannya pendapatan dan penggunaan keuangan oleh Kepala pesantren (direktur) dan kepala yayasan sebagai kuasa pengguna anggaran dan Komite pesantren.

Abstract

This study examines the phenomenon of student conflict in Islamic boarding school–based education, focusing on the role of the madrasah principal in managing such conflicts at MTs Pondok Pesantren Abnaul Amir, Gowa. High social interaction among students with diverse backgrounds often leads to disputes, disciplinary violations, and seniority issues that affect the educational climate. This research aims to analyze the principal’s competencies in handling student conflicts and the strategies applied to create a peaceful school environment. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed through participatory observation, in-depth semi-structured interviews, and documentation involving the principal, teachers, staff, and students. Data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, and validity was ensured through triangulation and credibility techniques. The findings reveal that student conflicts were addressed not merely through punitive measures but through persuasive communication, mediation, musyawarah, and islah approaches. The principal’s managerial, social, and personal competencies played a crucial role in strengthening discipline, improving supervision, and fostering harmonious relationships among students. Conflict management practices in this madrasah demonstrate that conflicts can be transformed into constructive character-building processes when handled with appropriate leadership strategies rooted in Islamic educational values.

Abstract

One of the components that plays an important role in achieving learning objectives is its contribution to the quality of learning. Where the contribution of strategic management implementation is a process that includes planning, implementation, and evaluation of policies to achieve organizational goals effectively. However, in its implementation there are still obstacles such as teachers who still find it difficult to adapt to curriculum changes and the lack of facilities and infrastructure that support learning. This study aims to describe the contribution of strategic management implementation in curriculum development to the quality of learning at MTs Negeri Gowa. This study uses qualitative techniques with observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of strategic management in curriculum development to improve the quality of learning can be monitored by improving student learning outcomes at MTs Negeri Gowa. Improving the quality of learning is carried out by implementing strategic management consisting of planning, implementation, and evaluation in developing the curriculum systematically. This strategy can be realized through the application of the Curriculum and continuous academic monitoring and supervision.

Abstract

Curriculum development in Islamic educational institutions is a crucial process to ensure that education aligns with the principles of Islam while meeting modern educational needs. This article discusses the principles of curriculum development in the context of Islamic educational institutions. These principles include theological principles, which refer to the teachings of Islam derived from the Quran and Sunnah; philosophical principles, encompassing the philosophical principles underlying Islamic education; psychological principles, involving learning theories and the psychological development of students; socio-cultural principles, considering the cultural and social context of Islamic society; and scientific and technological principles, utilizing science and technology in learning. By adhering to these principles, Islamic educational institutions can develop a curriculum that is holistic, values-oriented, and relevant to contemporary demands, preparing students to become beneficial individuals for society and the Islamic community at large.
