Abstract

Perpustakaan sangat penting untuk membantu pendidikan, penelitian, dan pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan.Namun, masalah seperti pengelolaan data yang tidak terintegrasi, yang dapat menyebabkan pemrosesan yang terlalu lama, masih ada. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, sistem informasi kontemporer yang mampu mengelola data dan informasi dengan baik diperlukan. Tujuan studi ini adalah menganalisis dan mengoptimalkan sistem informasi suatu perpustakaan dengan menggunakan teknik Analisis Sistem Informasi (ASI), Diagram Konteks(CD), Diagram Flow Data (DFD), dan Diagram Hubungan Entitas (ERD). Metode ini membantu dalam memahami kebutuhan pengguna dan merancang struktur sistem informasi yang efisien. Penerapan sistem informasi ini diharapkan dapat membantu dalam memberikan layanan percetakan yang efisien dan dapat diandalkan.

Abstract

Digital transformation in higher education requires academic data management that is not only technically functional but also capable of satisfying its users. This study aims to evaluate user satisfaction with the Academic Information System (SIAKAD) at Mitra Gama Institute of Technology using the End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) framework. The research method used was descriptive quantitative, involving 28 active user respondents selected through purposive sampling. The evaluation was conducted across five main dimensions: Content, Accuracy, Format, Ease of Use, and Timeliness. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire that had been validated using Pearson’s correlation and tested for reliability with Cronbach’s Alpha (0.947). The analysis results showed that user satisfaction levels varied across each dimension. The Content dimension received the highest score of 71.42%, followed by the Accuracy dimension at 60.72%, both of which fell into the “good” category. However, the Format dimension recorded the lowest score of 53.55%, rated as “fair,” indicating significant complaints regarding the user interface, which was deemed unresponsive and rigid. Meanwhile, the Timeliness dimension scored 43.74% and Ease of Use scored 41.97%. The study’s findings concluded that while SIAKAD has functionally been able to provide relevant content, there is an urgent need to improve visual aesthetics, navigation flow efficiency, and server performance stability—especially during peak access periods. The proposed strategic recommendations include migrating to a more modern interface design and optimizing real-time data synchronization to holistically enhance the user experience.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the need for a system capable of managing tutoring institution data effectively while accurately analyzing student performance. The main problem at Brigade Nusantara is that data management is still conducted manually and there is no data-based analysis available to support decision-making processes. This study aims to develop a web-based Tutoring Management Information System using the Laravel framework with a data mining approach to analyze student performance. The system development method includes the stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The data mining approach is utilized to process students’ historical data in order to generate information in the form of performance patterns, learning progress levels, and recommendations for academic improvement. The results of the study indicate that the developed system is capable of improving data management efficiency, facilitating the monitoring of student progress, and supporting accurate and data-driven decision making. Therefore, this system is expected to enhance the overall quality of tutoring services and assist administrators in developing more effective and targeted learning strategies.

Abstract

The era of digital disruption and the transition toward Society 5.0 require university graduates to develop adaptive digital competencies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) literacy and Cyber Security awareness, as essential components of career readiness. However, preliminary observations indicated that many students still use digital technologies primarily as end users, with limited understanding of the ethical use of AI and fundamental cybersecurity practices. This Community Service Program (PkM) aimed to enhance the career readiness of students at Institut Teknologi Mitra Gama by strengthening their AI literacy and cybersecurity competencies. The program adopted a capacity-building approach through a National Seminar consisting of three stages: needs analysis, educational sessions on prompt engineering and cyber hygiene, and program evaluation. A total of 250 students participated in the program. Evaluation was conducted using pre-test and post-test instruments to measure participants' knowledge improvement, complemented by a questionnaire to assess participants' perceptions of the program's relevance and usefulness. The data were analyzed descriptively by comparing the mean pre-test and post-test scores and calculating the percentage of participants' responses. The results showed that the average score increased from 46.5 in the pre-test to 84.2 in the post-test. This improvement indicates enhanced understanding of the ethical use of AI, effective prompt engineering techniques, and basic cybersecurity practices. Furthermore, 94% of the participants reported that the program was relevant and applicable to the development of their digital competencies and professional portfolios. These findings suggest that an interactive educational approach based on industry case studies has the potential to improve students' AI literacy and cybersecurity awareness and may serve as an alternative model for strengthening digital competencies in higher education.

Abstract

The Reinforced Concrete course at Institut Teknologi Mitra Gama faces a gap between theoretical understanding and its application in the field. Meanwhile, the construction of the Civil Engineering Building requires improved supervision. This Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) aimed to improve students’ competence in understanding the application of theory in the field while supporting the project supervision process through the integration of theoretical learning and field practice. The activity was conducted at the Civil Engineering Building Construction Project of Institut Teknologi Mitra Gama on January 13, 20, and 27, 2026, involving 28 students. The activity consisted of three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The results showed that the students’ total average score increased from 53 to 83, representing an improvement of 56.6%, while the standard deviation decreased from 15 to 7. Observation results indicated that students’ discussion activity and teamwork were categorized as very good, while their ability to identify structural conditions and relate theory to field conditions was categorized as good. Evaluations from both the contractor and field supervisor produced an average score of 3.00, categorized as good. These findings indicate that integrating theoretical learning with field practice is effective in improving students’ competencies while providing benefits to project partners in supporting construction supervision.

Abstract

Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) merupakan fondasi penting dalam pembentukan karakter, keterampilan dasar, dan potensi awal anak. Namun, keterbatasan media pembelajaran yang menarik dan interaktif menjadi kendala dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran anak usia dini, khususnya di TK Al-Muhajirin. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang antarmuka pengguna (UI) dan pengalaman pengguna (UX) aplikasi edukasi anak usia dini menggunakan metode Rational Unified Process (RUP) guna meningkatkan interaksi pembelajaran, kemudahan penggunaan, serta pengalaman belajar yang menarik dan efektif. Metode RUP dipilih karena bersifat iteratif dan berbasis use case, sehingga mendukung pengembangan aplikasi yang berpusat pada kebutuhan pengguna secara bertahap. Penelitian dilakukan melalui empat fase RUP: Inception, Elaboration, Construction, dan Transition. Hasil perancangan divalidasi menggunakan angket efektivitas dan praktikalitas yang menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan pengguna sangat tinggi dengan rata-rata skor 4,54 dari skala 5 (91%). Sistem yang dirancang memiliki antarmuka yang ramah anak, berwarna-warni, dan intuitif, sehingga mampu mendorong minat belajar anak usia dini secara mandiri maupun dengan bimbingan orang tua dan guru. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, metode RUP terbukti efektif digunakan dalam perancangan UI/UX aplikasi edukasi anak usia dini karena mampu menghasilkan desain yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna serta memberikan pengalaman belajar yang menarik dan mudah digunakan.
