Abstract

Dengan berkembangnya zaman yang semakin serba teknologi sangat berpengaruh terhadap seluruh sektor baik ekonomi, pariwisata terkhusus pendidikan, hal ini tidak menutup kemungkinan kita seluruhnya harus tetap eksis dan terus bersaing dalam menambah wawasan ilmu pengetahuan untuk menjadikan sumber daya manusia yang unggul menuju Indonesia emas tahun 2045. Di dalam Undang-Undang No 20 tahun 2003, peningkatan mutu pendidikan diarahkan untuk meningkatkan kualitas manusia Indonesia seutuhnya melalui olahhati, olahpikir, olahrasa, dan olahraga agar memiliki daya saing dalam menghadapi tantangan global. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginovasi media pembelajaran menggunakan sistem digital yakni adobe flash sehingga proses pembelajaran lebih meningkatkan motivasi siswa/i khususnya untuk menyelesaiakn soal test yang diberikan. Metode yang digunakan waterfall. Data yang digunakan ialah hasil wawancara dari siswa yang telah dikumpulkan sebelum menggunakan aplikasi dan sesudah menggunakan aplikasi dalam penyelesaian soal. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara siswa maka diperoleh kesimpulan dalam penyelesaian soal menggunakan aplikasi lebih antusias dan semangat ingin mencoba karena langsung mengetahui hasil scor nilai yang mereka kerjakan baik score benar dan salah. Sehingga dari penelitian ini kesimpulan yang didapat untuk meningkatkan efektifitas dalam pembelajaran khususnya penyelesaian soal-soal perlunya inovasi pembelajaran khusus untuk test menggunakan teknologi digitalisasi yakni adobe macromedia flash

Abstract

The results obtained from the Economic Stimulation Counseling and Training on August 26, 2021 with the number of participants who took part in the Extension and Training carried out by 50 people by complying with the health protocol standards issued by the government, before carrying out activities the training facilities were made in a distance according to the standards. wash hands and wear masks both before and after activities. In the delivery of the material presented, it was very well received by the Extension and Training Participants as much as 80%. Before carrying out the activities, interviews were conducted. Based on the interview, it was found that 17 people did not know MSMEs with a percentage of 34%. From the purpose of community service on the Al Washliyah University Labuhanbatu campus, the response was very good and brought changes to the community around the campus who took part in the Counseling and Training. After the Stimulation Counseling and Training was carried out again at the end of the elaboration of the material by the community service team which it was known that the information received by the community was very good, judging by the results of the interview, it was known that there was a good increase of 14 people with a percentage of 94% compared to before the counseling and training was carried out. . The shortcomings obtained in the Extension and Training are due to other factors, such as the different abilities of the participants, so it is necessary to carry out Counseling and Retraining to the community around the campus area in the future

Abstract

Spatial reasoning as an important component in students' mathematical thinking and problem solving. How do students think spatially, how is the flow in solving contextual problems, this is spatial reasoning. Spatial reasoning consists of three characteristics, namely perceiving, visual-spatial and transforming. This research is included in descriptive qualitative which aims to describe the spatial reasoning of MTs students in imagining and explaining parts of objects, mentioning and describing parts of objects and changing the shape of objects from the problems given. The subjects in this study were three students from class VIII of MTs Negeri 3 Muara Ampolu Tapanuli Selatan who were taken from each level of mathematical ability, namely high, medium and low abilities after being given an initial math ability test. To find out the profile of students' spatial reasoning in contextual solving, the research subjects were given a spatial reasoning test. The results showed that students with high and moderate mathematical abilities in solving contextual problems that required spatial reasoning had good results. Meanwhile, low-ability students have difficulty in solving contextual problems so that their spatial reasoning has poor results.

Abstract

This research was conducted for 2 weeks in October at SMAN 11 Medan. This type of research is classroom action research. Before the action is taken first, the initial test is given. From the results of the initial test, the average student achievement was 20.62 with a classical completeness level of 0%. After giving action I to creative thinking tests the level of student study in classical is 15%, with an average grade achievement of 33.75. To test student learning outcomes the level of completeness obtained by students is 17.5%, with an average grade achievement of 26.42. After the implementation of action II for creative thinking tests the level of student study learning in classical is 85%, with an average achievement of 72.85 classes. To test student learning outcomes the level of completeness obtained by students is 90%, with an average grade achievement of 77.17. From this there is an increase in the level of classical completeness by 70% for students 'creative thinking and 72.5% for students' mathematics learning outcomes. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui (1) apakah terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Auditory Intellectually Repetition terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa MTs Negeri 2 Labuhanbatu, (2) bagaimana respon siswa terhadap model pembelajaran dan (3) bagaimana proses dan kesalahan jawaban siswa terhadap tes kemampuan. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan tes dan non-tes dan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kemampuan yang ditunjukkan dari hasil uji hipotesis bahwa sehingga ditolak dan diterima. Respon siswa dalam model pembelajaran terhadap kemampuan ada sebanyak 15 siswa (50,0%) menyatakan sangat setuju bahwa siswa memahami materi dalam pembelajaran matematika, sedangkan 10 siswa (33,3%) menyatakan setuju, 2 siswa (6,7%) menyatakan tidak setuju dan 3 siswa (10,0%) menyatakan sangat tidak setuju. Proses dan kesalahan jawaban siswa pada tes kemampuan diketahui terdapat 1 siswa atau 3,3% memiliki jawaban sampai selesai tetapi hasilnya sama sekali salah, terdapat 2 siswa atau 6,7% memiliki jawaban sampai selesai tetapi hasilnya ada yang salah karena kekeliruan dalam proses perhitungan, terdapat 11 siswa atau 36,7% jawaban sampai selesai tetapi hasilnya ada yang salah karena kekeliruan dalam perhitungan, sedangkan siswa yang memberikan jawaban secara tepat dan benar sebanyak 16 siswa atau 53,3 %.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode pembelajaran Talking Stick terhadap pemecahan masalah siswa di MTs Negeri 2 Labuhanbatu, baik dalam bentuk tertulis maupun non tes berupa lembar observasi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu, dimana populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII MTs Negeri 2 Labuhanbatu, sedangkan populasi eksperimennya adalah 60 siswa yang sampelnya terdiri dari 30 siswa kelas VII-A sebagai kelas dan Kelas VII-B sebanyak 30 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol dengan waktu penelitian dari bulan Januari sampai dengan Juli 2020. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah metode pengujian hipotesis. Hasil hipotesis parsial dengan menggunakan uji-t menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Talking Stick berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa MTs Negeri 2 Labuhanbatu. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan thitung>ttabel yaitu 4,851>1,679 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, sehingga terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan metode pembelajaran Talking Stick terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas VII-A MTs Negeri 2 Labuhanbatu.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dengan judul pengaruh pembelajaran matematika realistik terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Rantau Utara. Dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang signifikan pembelajaran matematika realistik terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa thitung = 5,959 dan ttabel= 1,994 pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05 dan dk = n1 + n2 – 2 =70 sehingga terlihat bahwa thitung > ttabel (5,959 > 1994) maka ha diterima dan h0 ditolak, sehingga terdapat pengaruh pembelajaran matematika realistik terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Rantau Utara.

Abstract

Integrity has had plenty of impact on human civilization development, especially in the development of human technology. The primary role of an integral is not well supported by students’ skill in solving integral problems. Due to this fact, mathematics educators need solutions. Artificial Intelligence (AI) integration is one of the solutions that mathematics educators can choose. This qualitative descriptive research aims to explore students' mistakes in solving integral problems with the help of  Photomath. This research will describe student mistakes and explain how students realize mistakes during rework assisted by Photomath. This research involved ten mathematics students who joined an integral course at a university in Indonesia. The errors were analyzed based on Newman error analysis. Errors found based on research results include (1) Comprehension and transformation, (2) Process skills, and (3) Encoding. This research found that comprehension errors have implications for transformation. Students who make comprehension errors will cause transformation errors. Meanwhile, the subject's errors in the previous stage affect the encoding stage. Apart from the errors already mentioned, errors were also found due to carelessness, which was not a significant part of Newman's error analysis.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop and test the effectiveness of a Realistic Mathematics learning model based on Mandailing culture with a Deep - Learning approach in improving the logical thinking skills of high school students. This approach aims to build a deep and meaningful understanding of concepts through the integration of local cultural contexts that are close to students' lives. The methodology used is the development research method with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The analysis stage involves literature studies and field observations to identify students' needs and relevant Mandailing cultural potential. The design and development stage produces learning tools in the form of lesson plans, student worksheets, and learning media that have been validated by material experts and cultural experts. Implementation was carried out through a quasi-experiment in two classes (experimental and control) with a logical thinking test instrument as the main measuring tool. Evaluation was carried out formatively and summatively to determine the effectiveness of learning. The results showed that students who participated in Realistic Mathematics learning based on Mandailing culture with a Deep Learning approach experienced a significant increase in logical thinking skills compared to the control group. In addition, students showed enthusiasm and active involvement because the learning was linked to the culture they were familiar with. The conclusion of this study is that mathematics learning that integrates local culture with an immersive learning approach is effective in improving students' logical thinking skills. This model also strengthens cultural identity while developing higher-order thinking skills. Recommendations are directed to teachers, curriculum developers, and educational policymakers to consider a contextual learning approach based on local culture as a strategy to improve the quality of learning processes and outcomes, particularly in developing students' logical and cognitive thinking skills.

Abstract

Penelitian mengenai perbedaan penalaran spasial berdasarkan gender di tingkat universitas masih memerlukan konfirmasi lebih lanjut. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan perbedaan langkah-langkah penyelesaian soal hiperbola antara mahasiswa laki-laki dan perempuan. Menggunakan metode kualitatif, penelitian ini melibatkan 30 mahasiswa yang dipilih melalui rumus Slovin dari total populasi 480 mahasiswa. Instrumen penelitian meliputi tes soal hiperbola dan pedoman wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan pada aspek orientasi spasial, di mana mahasiswa perempuan menunjukkan keunggulan dalam langkah-langkah penyelesaian karena pemahaman konsep jarak yang lebih baik. Temuan ini menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat karakteristik unik pada penalaran spasial perempuan di tingkat pendidikan tinggi yang berbeda dari temuan umum di tingkat sekolah. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi teoretis bagi pengembangan literatur penalaran spasial dalam pendidikan matematika. Research on gender-based differences in spatial reasoning at the university level requires further empirical confirmation. This study aims to describe the differences in procedural steps for solving hyperbola problems between male and female students. Employing a qualitative method, the study involved 30 students selected via Slovin’s formula from a population of 480. Research instruments consisted of hyperbola problem-solving tasks supported by interview transcripts. The findings reveal distinct differences in spatial orientation, where female students demonstrated superior performance in solving steps due to a robust understanding of distance concepts. In conclusion, these results highlight unique spatial reasoning characteristics among female students in higher education, diverging from common findings at the school level. This research contributes to the theoretical development of spatial reasoning literature within mathematics education.
