Abstract

Labuan Bajo is an area prioritized as a tourist destination by the current government. This has an impact on increasing competition in the hotel business in Labuan Bajo. The Jayakarta Suites Komodo Flores Hotel is one of the companies providing lodging services that is well known in Labuan Bajo. This research aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership style and work motivation on employee performance at The Jayakarta Suites Komodo Flores hotel. The population in this study was 54 employees and was used as the research sample. The analysis technique used is a multiple linear regression model. The research results show that transformational leadership style and work motivation partially have a significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, transformational leadership style and work motivation have a significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

This study examines the feasibility of developing Compang Wesang Village in East Manggarai Regency as a community-based tourism village destination through a human resource management approach. The selection of this topic is based on the importance of sustainable tourism development in rural areas and the gap between natural and cultural potential and the capacity of local human resources. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a case study design, through interview, observation, and documentation study techniques. The results of the study show that although the village has strong cultural and natural assets, tourism management has not been carried out professionally due to the lack of training, institutions, and a structured work system. The public's enthusiasm to participate is quite high, but it has not been properly facilitated by the government or external parties. These findings show the importance of combining HR management strategies with the principles of community empowerment so that the development of tourism villages can take place in a participatory, inclusive, and sustainable manner. Strengthening local institutions and the preparation of systematic training programs are important steps in encouraging sustainable economic and social growth.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has significantly transformed business operations, particularly among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) in Indonesia. One of the essential aspects determining the success of digital businesses is the implementation of business ethics as a foundation for building consumer trust. This study aims to analyze the application of business ethics in Linshop’s digital operations, specifically in promotional activities, transactions, and customer service, as well as to identify the challenges faced in maintaining ethical principles amid competition and shifting consumer expectations. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method through field observations and in-depth interviews with the owner, employees, and loyal customers. The findings reveal that Linshop applies business ethics through honest product information, price transparency, responsive customer service, and willingness to acknowledge mistakes when they occur. These ethical practices significantly contribute to shaping consumer trust, reflected in customer loyalty and repeated purchases. The results align with previous literature, emphasizing that business ethics in digital contexts serves not only as a moral guideline but also as a strategic factor for strengthening business reputation and credibility. However, Linshop also faces several challenges, including price pressure, expectations for rapid responses, and platform limitations that affect information transparency. Overall, this study confirms that business ethics play a crucial role not only as moral conduct but also as a competitive strategy for sustaining digital-based UMKM.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kepatuhan pajak UMKM di Kabupaten Manggarai Timur. Variabel yang diteliti meliputi penyuluhan pajak, literasi pajak, kesadaran pajak, dan sanksi pajak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei pada 83 pelaku UMKM yang terdaftar sebagai wajib pajak. Analisis data dilakukan melalui analisis faktor dengan uji validitas, reliabilitas, serta Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) dan Bartlett’s Test of Sphericity. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa variabel penyuluhan pajak, literasi pajak, dan kesadaran pajak membentuk faktor dominan yang berkontribusi signifikan terhadap kepatuhan pajak UMKM. Sementara itu, variabel sanksi pajak memiliki nilai MSA di bawah 0,5 sehingga tidak layak sebagai faktor yang memengaruhi kepatuhan pajak. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya peningkatan literasi pajak dan intensifikasi penyuluhan sebagai strategi untuk meningkatkan kepatuhan pajak UMKM di Kabupaten Manggarai Timur

Abstract

Abstract The complexity of world business with a high level of competition requires creativity and innovation from all Parties. One of the important sector that is developing in response to the issue of competition is tourism sector through tourism villages. The existence of a Tourism Village can boost the national and local economy through increasing the welfare of the community as the main actor in a Tourism Village. This research is motivated by the urgency of managing human resources as an important factor in improving the quality of tourism villages. This practice has become an important discourse so that researchers are motivated to explore one of the Tourism Villages in East Manggarai, namely Colol Village with its unique tourist destinations. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study type to determine the extent to which the implemented HR management practices affect the sustainability of this Tourism Village. Researchers collected data by conducting observations and interviews with several Colol Tourism Village stakeholders. The results of the study said that there were several things carried out by the managers even though there were still some limitations in several aspects. Some of these things are HR planning, institutional strengthening, community mobilization, and controlling tourism actors with FGD and Monev. Some of these practices are carried out to maintain this Tourism Village so that it continues to exist in the future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji praktik etika bisnis beberapa jenis UMKM di Labuan Bajo, sebuah destinasi pariwisata super prioritas di Indonesia. Sektor pariwisata telah menjadi salah satu inti bisnis utama di banyak daerah yang berperan penting dalam mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal, pelestarian budaya, dan pengalaman wisata yang unik. Namun, tantangan utama yang dihadapi UMKM adalah implementasi bisnis yang beretika untuk mendukung keberlanjutan destinasi pariwisata. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan paradigma positivisme. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui wawancara dan observasi terhadap beberapa jenis UMKM yang berbeda di Labuan Bajo. Analisis data dilakukan dengan langkah-langkah penelitian kualitatif seperti identifikasi, kategorisasi, kodifikasi, reduksi, pemetaan pola, dan sintesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar UMKM telah berupaya menerapkan prinsip-prinsip etika bisnis dalam aktivitas bisnis. Hal ini menjadi dasar dalam menjaga kepercayaan konsumen, meningkatkan kualitas produk dan layanan, serta memastikan keberlanjutan bisnis dalam jangka panjang. Namun, terdapat kendala dalam penggunaan teknologi informasi dan perhatian terhadap aspek lingkungan dan sosial. Penelitian diharapkan memberikan masukan berharga bagi UMKM, pemerintah, dan stakeholder terkait dalam upaya menjaga keberlanjutan pariwisata prioritas di Labuan Bajo. Dengan meningkatkan praktik etika bisnis, UMKM dapat berperan lebih aktif dalam mendukung pembangunan berkelanjutan, melestarikan budaya lokal, dan memberikan pengalaman wisata yang unik bagi para wisatawan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the moke cottage industry with the SWOT technique. The research was conducted by in-depth interviews with the main informants of the moke business in Nele and Watu Gong villages, Sikka Regency. The results of the interviews were analyzed using the SWOT technique. The results of the study indicate that the moke cottage industry has the opportnity for being developed mainly due to the support of the availability of raw materials. However, it should be noted that the moke business actor has limited resources so that they failed to analyze various aspects related to the production and marketing of moke. There needs to be a collaborative effort between moke businesses, investors and local governments to develop moke home industry in Sikka Regency.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implications of Instagram visual content on interest in visiting the Santirah River Tubing tourist destination, Raburi Village, Parigi District, Pangandaran Regency. The method used in this research is a quantitative method which uses descriptive analysis. The information collection technique used was distributing questionnaires randomly via Google Form. Observation and documentation methods are also used to obtain relevant information. The data processing technique is carried out through testing the validity and reliability of the questionnaire that has been distributed. After the data is valid and reliable as a whole and per statement item, a normality test is carried out. From the results of data processing, it was concluded that Instagram visual content (X) had a significant effect on visiting interest (Y) at Santirah River Tubing (SRT) by 78.4%. In another sense, hypothesis H1 is accepted, meaning that there is a significant influence between the Instagram visual content variable (X) on visiting interest (Y) at SRT, Selalari Village, Parigi District, Pangandaran Regency.

Abstract

Organizational culture plays an important role in supporting organizational performance to achieve the vision, mission and goals of the organization. Good management is the key to the success of organizations such as the Directorate of Counseling, Services and Public Relations (Dit. P2Humas) of the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) to achieve good organizational implementation and achieve the set work targets. Therefore, this study aims to review the implementation of organizational culture in developing employee performance at DGT. P2Humas. The method used is descriptive qualitative method, which is descriptive in nature by conducting a study based on theory and previous research, and data collection is carried out using the interview method, and direct observation of employees at DGT. P2Humas. Qualitative data analysis uses the Miles and Hubermans model which consists of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing/verification. Data validity was tested using triangulation techniques and source triangulation. The results of this study explain that Dit. P2Humas has implemented organizational culture (values of the Ministry of Finance and the Directorate General of Taxes Code of Ethics) well. The practice of this organizational behavior has a positive effect on the development of employee performance which is a reflection of the practice of organizational culture. If the process of internalizing organizational culture into personal culture has been successfully carried out, employees will be integrated with the organization and there will be no obstacles to achieving optimal organizational goals.

Abstract

Tujuan penulisan karya ilmiah ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan sistem manajemen kinerja karyawan ang digunakan oleh PT. Pungkook Indonesia One. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan mengunakan observasi, wawancara kepada karyawan, observasi dan studi dokumen. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Triangulasi sumber untuk memvalidasi data yang diperoleh dari berbagai sumber. Triangulasi membantu memastikan keabsahan dan keandalan informasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Sistem Manajemen Kinerja (SMK) di PT. Pungkook Indonesia One dapat meningkatkan produktivitas kerja karyawan melalui beberapa elemen, seperti perencanaan, pengukuran, evaluasi, dan umpan balik. Namun, terdapat beberapa tantangan dalam implementasi SMK seperti kurangnya kesadaran para karyawan dan kendala teknologi informasi. Oleh karena itu, PT. Pungkook perlu melakukan beberapa upaya untuk mengatasi tantangan tersebut, seperti meningkatkan sosialisasi SMK dan meningkatkan investasi pada teknologi informasi. Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat memberikan saran dan masukan bagi perusahaan dalam meningkatkan produktivitas kerja karyawan melalui implementasi SMK.
