Abstract

The learning problem of students who are active in various activities makes some students feel less responsive to facing new learning or activities to support the continuity of the learning process. The point that researchers see is the phenomenon of low academic hardiness in students. The aim of this research is to determine the impact of the Adventure Based Counseling (ABC) technical group counseling service to increase students' academic hardiness. The research method used was pre-experimental design with a one group pretest-posttest design model. The research subjects were 6 students using purposive sampling with existing criteria for subjects ranging from a low score of 28-56. This research uses the academic hardiness scale instrument. Data analysis used the Wilxocon test with a normality test and homogeneity test carried out first. Result of thi research is there is a difference in the pretest score and posttest score so it can be concluded that advnture based counseling technique group counseling services are effective in increasing students' academic hardiness

Abstract

In this study, the objectives achieved by researchers reached the stage of knowing how effective the provision of group guidance services is problem solving techniques to reduce learning saturation. This type of research is quantitative with a pre-experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design. The population taken in this study was class 8B students, then the research sample was 6 students. This research instrument uses a learning saturation scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. In addition to the scale, decision making in this study used the normality test and SPSS 26-assisted T test. Based on the results of the study, 6 students had medium and high categories with details of 2 students having high scores and 4 having moderate scores. After being given the service, the 6 students experienced a decrease in score. This can be shown by the pretest score which totaled 344 with a mean of 57.3 then after being given group guidance services the problem-solving technique decreased with a total score of 231 with a mean of 38.5. In addition, based on the results of the sample t test, it is known that the sig. (2 tailed) is 0.001 meaning that 0.001 is less than <0.05, then Ha is accepted, and Ho is rejected. So, it can be concluded that group guidance services with problem solving techniques are effective in preventing student learning saturation.

Abstract

Academic stress is a psychological condition where students feel worried about academic failure. To overcome this, students can develop stress coping, be it problem focused coping or emotional stress coping. This study was conducted to provide an overview of the level of stress coping developed by students as well as the types of stress coping developed. This study is a quantitative descriptive study with a population of Nahdlatul Ulama Sunan Giri University students. The sample used in this research was 300 students. The instrument used in this study is a stress coping scale using the stress coping theory developed by Lazarus. The results show that students have moderate stress coping abilities. The type of stress coping that is most often used by both male and female students in dealing with academic stress is emotional focused coping. The forms of behavior used to overcome academic stress are distancing, confrontative coping, and seeking information support.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to reveal the data and facts about the level of online game addiction among students. This study used a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The subjects in the study were students of class XI SMA Negeri 10 Pandeglang for the Academic Year 2021/2022, which were 531 students. The data in this study was analyzed using descriptive statistics and the percentage technique. The results showed that 70.37% of students are currently in a state of high addiction, which means students feel uncontrollable compulsions in themselves to repeat the behavior of playing online games and don't care about the negative consequences that come with them. Meanwhile, 29.63% of students are currently in the low addiction category, namely students are able to control their compulsions to play online games and care about the negative consequences that come with them

Abstract

Extreme thoughts about moderate Islam are often the beginning of divisions. A shallow understanding of religious moderation makes it easier for someone to be indicated by radical views. Counselors have an essential role in increasing students' understanding of religious moderation. This study aims to improve students' understanding of religious moderation in public schools through group guidance using bibliotherapy techniques. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a Non-equivalent control group design. The sample of this research was 20 students, consisting of 10 students for each experimental and control group, per Gazda's (1969) recommendations regarding the adequate number of group guidance participants, ranging from 8 to 10 participants. The sample has filled out the Religious Moderation Scale (RMS) developed by Monalisa (2022) and is indicated to be in a low category. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon signed rank test to determine the effect before and after the intervention was given. Then, to find out the average difference between the experimental group and the control group, it was analyzed using the Mann-Whitney test. The study's results showed a difference in understanding of religious moderation before and after the intervention, with a significance of .005. The research results showed that the group guidance intervention using bibliotherapy techniques was effective in increasing students' understanding of religious moderation with a Z score of -3.885 and a significance value of .000.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology, particularly the Internet of Things (IoT), has significantly influenced the field of guidance and counseling services. IoT enables counselors to adopt innovative methods, such as online counseling applications, chatbots, virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and mixed reality (MR), to reach a broader audience. Despite these advancements, the human role of counselors remains vital due to the importance of empathy and emotional sensitivity in the counseling process.A philosophical approach is crucial to establish ethical and humanistic foundations for the development of technology-based guidance and couseling services. This approach emphasizes respect for human values, professional ethics, and social responsibility. Technology should act as a supporting tool, not a replacement, in fostering meaningful relationships between counselors and clients.With proper integration, technology-based guidance and counseling services can enhance counseling effectiveness, expand accessibility, and create more personalized and holistic experiences, empowering individuals to navigate the challenges of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Abstract

Program Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK) merupakan komponen integral sistem pendidikan pada setiap satuan pendidikan, yang berupaya memfasilitasi dan memandirikan peserta didik agar mencapai perkembangan yang utuh dan optimal. Semasa SMA, peserta didik dituntut untuk menjadi pribadi yang mandiri dan mampu mengambil pilihan, bertanggung jawab serta memiliki daya adaptasi tinggi terhadap dinamika kehidupan yang dihadapinya. Penelitian jenis deskriptif kuantitatif ini merupakan suatu pendekatan yang memungkinkan dilakukannya pencatatan data hasil penelitian secara nyata dalam bentuk angka sehingga memudahkan dalam proses analisis data dan penafsirannya. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari instrumen (angket) pengungkap self confidence siswa. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas XII MAS Muhammadiyah Kubangkondang tahun ajaran 2022/2023 dengan jumlah total siswa sebanyak 41 orang, 19 orang siswa laki-laki dan 22 orang siswa perempuan. Adapun proses tabulasi data menggunakan MS Excel 2010 dibantu menggunakan program SPSS versi 26.0. Berdasarkan pengolahan data siswa kelas XII MAS Muhammadiyah Kubangkondang memiliki tingkat self confidence dengan capaian skor aktual 5579 dari skor maksimal ideal 8692 atau mencapai 64,18%, dengan demikian self confidence siswa kelas XII MAS Muhammadiyah Kubangkondang tergolong “tinggi”. Kemudian hasil pengukuran aspek-aspek self confidence siswa sebagai berikut: a) aspek keyakinan akan kemampuan diri (67,53%); 2) aspek optimis (62,31%); 3) aspek objektif (44,51%); 4) aspek bertanggung jawab (61,24%); dan 5) aspek rasional dan realistis (65,24%). Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat self confidence siswa kelas XII MAS Muhammadiyah Kubangkondang tahun ajaran 2022/2023 berada pada kategori yang tinggi.

Abstract

Abstrak: Perkembangan teknologi di era digital menghadirkan berbagai aplikasi yang mendukung pembelajaran, salah satunya Canva. Platform ini memungkinkan guru untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran dan layanan yang menarik, interaktif, serta efisien. Kegiatan ini bertujuan mengembangkan hard skill dan soft skill guru bimbingan dan konseling SMK di Yogyakarta dengan pemanfaatan Canva sebagai media layanan bimbingan dan konseling. Alat ukur yang digunakan untuk mengetahui keefektifan teknik tersebut adalah skala penilaian pemahaman pengembangan media melalaui canva yang dilakukan dengan memberikan pre-test dan post-test. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan kemampuan guru bimbingan dan konseling dalam menggunakan canva. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari rata-rata skor pre-test sebesar 48 yang mengalami peningkatan menjadi 77 pada saat pre-test. Berdasarkan hal tersebut mazka kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini telah berhasil mencapai tujuan yang ditetapkan.Abstract: The development of technology in the digital era presents various applications that support learning, one of which is Canva. This platform allows teachers to develop learning media and services that are interesting, interactive, and efficient. This activity aims to develop the hard skills and soft skills of vocational guidance and counseling teachers in Yogyakarta by utilizing Canva as a medium for guidance and counseling services. The measuring instrument used to determine the effectiveness of the technique is an assessment scale for understanding media development through Canva which is done by giving a pre-test and post-test. The results of the implementation of the activity showed an increase in the understanding and ability of guidance and counseling teachers in using Canva. This can be seen from the average pre-test score of 48 which increased to 77 during the pre-test. Based on this, this community service activity has succeeded in achieving the stated objectives.

Abstract

Abstrak: Bullying, baik konvensional maupun digital, masih menjadi ancaman serius bagi kesejahteraan psikologis siswa. Rendahnya empati siswa serta keterbatasan kompetensi guru BK dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi membuat layanan pencegahan bullying belum optimal. Program PKM VIBES (Virtual Reality as a Bullying Prevention Strategy) bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas guru BK dalam merancang layanan berbasis virtual reality (VR). Kegiatan dilakukan melalui workshop berbentuk blended learning dengan mitra MGBK Kota Surakarta yang melibatkan 33 guru BK SMA/SMK. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup sosialisasi, diskusi kelompok, simulasi VR, penugasan mandiri, serta mentoring. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pretest, posttest, dan refleksi. Hasil kegitan ini terlihat pada peningkatan kemampuan rata-rata paserta sebesar 69,4% dari sebelum ke sesudah pelatihan, melampaui target minimal 30%. Selain itu, 72,7% guru mencapai indikator kunci berupa kemampuan menjelaskan sekaligus menggunakan VR dalam layanan BK. Program ini tidak hanya meningkatkan keterampilan teknis para peserta, tetapi juga memperkuat soft skill berupa empati, kreativitas, dan kemapuan berkolaborasi para guru BK.Abstract: Bullying, both conventional and digital, remains a serious threat to students’ psychological well-being. Low levels of student empathy and limited competence of school counselors in integrating technology have hindered the optimization of bullying prevention services. The PKM VIBES program (Virtual Reality as a Bullying Prevention Strategy) aims to enhance counselors’ capacity in designing virtual reality (VR)-based services. The program was implemented through a blended-learning workshop in collaboration with the MGBK of Surakarta, involving 33 high school counselors. The methods included socialization, group discussions, VR simulations, independent assignments, and mentoring. Evaluation was conducted using pretests, posttests, and reflections. Results showed an average improvement of 69.4% in participants’ competence from pre- to post-training, exceeding the minimum target of 30%. Furthermore, 72.7% of counselors achieved key indicators, namely the ability to explain and use VR in counseling services. This program not only improved participants’ technical skills but also strengthened their soft skills, including empathy, creativity, and collaboration.

Abstract

Abstrak: Program pengabdian ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan bullying didunia pendidikan indonesia yang masih terus saja terjadi, hampir disetiap tingkatan mengalami permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan bullying. Tujuan pengabdian ini yakni untuk meningkatan kualitas layanan bimbingan dan konseling, melatih guru bimbingan dan konseling dalam mengembangkan media bimbingan dan konseling bebasis teknologi informasi digital, Kesadaran siswa terhadap dampak bullying, menciptakan kondisi lingkungan pendidikan dan/atau sekolah yang kondusif , dan Optimalisai peran civitas akademika dalam mengentaskan bullying. Pelaksanaan seminar dan sosialisasi dilaksanakan secara blended learning selanjutnya dilakukan intervensi atau treatment dalam bentuk layanan bimbingan dan konseling kepada peserta didik SMA Negeri 6 Pandeglang sejumlah 364 siswa. Melalui metode observasi atau pengamatan pada 4 orang guru Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling SMA Negeri 6 Pandeglang program kegiatan ini menghasilkan capaian dalam pemahaman konsep media sebesar 100%, kreatitas dalam pengembangan media sebesar 78%, keterampilan penggunaan media sebesar 71% relevansi materi dan media sebesar 92%, serta diskusi dan refleksi sebesar 93%. Sedangkan pada tingkay pemahaman dan kesadaran siswa terhadap dampak bullying diperoleh capaian dan gambaran umum terhadap beberapa aspek seperti pengamatan umum siswa sebesar 91%, interaksi sosial siswa sebesar 83%, partisipasi siswa dalam diskusi siswa sebesar 87%, penggunaan istilah dan kosa kata siswa sebesar 84%, respon terhadap studi kasus siswa sebesar 96%, dan refleksi pribadi siswa sebesar 91%.Abstract: This service program is motivated by the problem of bullying in Indonesian education, which continues to occur at almost every level. The purpose of this service is to improve the quality of guidance and counseling services, train guidance and counseling teachers in developing digital information technology-based guidance and counseling media, raise student awareness of the impact of bullying, create conducive educational and/or school environment conditions, and optimize the role of the academic community in alleviating bullying. The implementation of seminars and socialization was conducted through blended learning, and then intervention or treatment was conducted in the form of guidance and counseling services for 364 students at SMA Negeri 6 Pandeglang. Through the observation method or observation of 4 guidance and counseling teachers at SMA Negeri 6 Pandeglang, this activity program resulted in achievements in understanding media concepts of 100%, creativity in media development of 78%, media use skills of 71%, material and media relevance of 92%, as well as discussion and reflection of 93%. Meanwhile, at the level of students' understanding and awareness of the impact of bullying, achievements and general descriptions of several aspects such as students' general observations were 91%, students' social interactions were 83%, students' participation in student discussions was 87%, students' use of terms and vocabulary was 84%, responses to student case studies were 96%, and student personal reflections were 91%.
