Abstract

This research explains the phenomenon of Verbal bullying cases in elementary schools (Case Study). This research was conducted at SD Negeri 111/IX Muhajirin class V. This research was conducted in even semester. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach. Qualitative approach is a research approach that finds a particular situation through verbal descriptions of accurate and realistic results based on relevant natural data collection techniques. The results showed: Verbal bullying in SD Negeri 111/IX Muhajirin is caused by differences in age, physique, character and background of students. Bullying handling that has been carried out at SD Negeri 111/IX Muhajirin includes enforcing discipline in handling and preventing bullying, mental coaching for students (especially bullying perpetrators and victims), supervision for students so that bullying does not recur, class teacher strategies (achievement cards, achievement reports) in handling bullying and cooperation with parents. The characteristics of bullying perpetrators in general, among others, tend to be active, low academic ability, quiet but easily emotional, physically larger, senior. While the characteristics of victims of bullying include being more quiet, slow learners, timid, female students are also more likely to be victims of weaker nature, and not good students in class, younger age.In addition, there is a tendency that victims can potentially become perpetrators and vice versa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses penerapan metode struktural analitik sintetik dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan dengan berbantuan kartu huruf pada siswa kelas 1 SD. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Penelitian ini dlakukan di SDN 80/1 Muara Bulian. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Data penelitian ini diperoleh dari hasil observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Kemudian data dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus yang terdiri dari empat tahapan yakni perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian penerapan metode struktural analitik sintetik berbantuan media kartu hururf mampu meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan pada peserta didik. Peningkatan tersebut bisa terlihat pada analisis data setiap siklus pertemuan. Siklus I pertemuan I sebanyak 33%, siklus I pertemuan II sebanyak 41% dengan peningkatan sebesar 8%. Pada siklus II pertemuan I sebanyak 79%, dan siklus II pertemuan II sebanyak 83% mengalami peningkatan sebesar 4%. Dari hasil penelitian ini diharapkan guru mampu meningkatkan proses pembelajaran di kelas, sehingga kemampuan membaca permulaan pada peserta didik dapat meningkat, guru disarankan agar menggunakan media pembelajaran saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Hal ini supaya peserta didik tertarik dan berminat dalam belajar membaca.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the steps, planning, implementation and evaluation in the implementation of the Independent Curriculum at State Elementary School 64/IV Jambi City which was implemented in the odd semester of 2024/2025. This research was conducted at SDN 64/IV Jambi City for more than months. Data collection was carried out by means of observation, interviews, and documentation studies. After the data was collected, the data was analyzed using a phenomenological approach and type. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Independent Curriculum has brought significant changes in learning methods, which are more flexible and student-centered. Teachers feel challenges in adaptation, especially related to resource readiness, understanding of curriculum concepts, and technical support. However, various strategies are applied, such as collaboration between educators, independent training, and the use of technology to support learning. Overall, the Independent Curriculum has a positive impact on students' creativity and independence, although it still requires more optimal policy support. This study provides insight for policy makers, educators, and schools in increasing the effectiveness of the implementation of the Independent Curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the problem solving model on the ability of fifth grade students in elementary schools to solve HOTS questions in the subject of science on magnetism, electricity, and technology for life. The problem solving model is a learning model that invites students to actively participate in learning activities. This study was conducted using a quantitative method with an experimental research type. The research design used Quasi Experimental Design with a one group test method. The subjects of the study were all fifth grade students of SDN 30/I Pulau Betung. The collection of research data was obtained through tests before treatment (pre-test) and after treatment (post-test). The data that had been collected was then analyzed using a paired sample t-test. The results of the study showed that the problem solving learning model had an effect on the ability to solve HOTS questions in students. With the results of the test before treatment (pre-test) obtaining an average score of 37.60, and the test after treatment (post-test) obtaining an average score of 72.20. This proves that there is an increase in students' ability to solve HOTS questions by using the problem solving learning model in science subjects. From the research results, it can be concluded that the use of the problem solving learning model has an impact on students' ability to solve HOTS questions in the science subject in grade V at SDN 30/I Pulau Betung.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the planning, implementation, and impact of technology adaptation in the Kampus Mengajar 8 program at SD Negeri 12/I Terusan. The research employs a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The research subjects include Kampus Mengajar students, the school principal, teachers, and students. Data were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. Data validity was ensured through source triangulation. The findings indicate that, in the planning stage, Kampus Mengajar students first conducted observations at the school. The results of these observations served as the basis for designing technology adaptation activities, which were then incorporated into the Collaborative Action Plan (RAK) and agreed upon with the school. The implementation stage of technology adaptation was divided into two main activities. First, Kampus Mengajar students conducted training sessions on creating interactive teaching media using Canva for teachers, aiming to enhance their skills in utilizing technology as a teaching aid. Second, technology was integrated into classroom activities for students, such as using Wordwall and screening educational films to make learning more interactive and engaging. The impact of this technology adaptation was evident among both teachers and students. For teachers, the program helped improve their understanding of technology and boosted their confidence in using it in teaching. Meanwhile, for students, technology adaptation increased their enthusiasm for learning and helped them better understand the subject matter

Abstract

This study aims to describe the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Teaching at The Right Level (TaRL) approach in mathematics learning for grade IV at SD Negeri 34/I Teratai in the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. This study uses a qualitative research type with a phenomenological approach. The subjects of the study included teachers and students of grade IV A. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data was tested through triangulation of techniques and sources. The results showed that the implementation of TaRL consisted of three stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. At the planning stage, teachers analyzed Learning Outcomes (CP), compiled Learning Objectives (TP), and prepared teaching materials. At the implementation stage, students were grouped based on their abilities through diagnostic assessments and the learning process followed the syntax of Problem Based Learning (PBL). Evaluation involved reflecting on the effectiveness of the approach on student understanding, motivation, and engagement. In conclusion, the implementation of TaRL systematically increases the effectiveness of mathematics learning by adjusting teaching methods to student characteristics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Mengetahui pengaruh kedisplinan belajar terhadap prestasi belajar dalam mata pelajaran IPA. (2) Mengetahui pengaruh rasa ingin tahu terhadap prestasi belajar dalam mata pelajaran IPA. (3) Mengetahui pengaruh kedisplinan belajar dan rasa ingin tahu terhadap prestasi belajar dalam pelajaran IPA. Meode penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain teknik skala ex-post facto. Populasi penelitian ini sebesar 57 siswa kelas V dari Sekolah Dasar Negeri 55/I Sridadi. Tetapi sampel yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini 50 siswa. Teknik sampling yang akan digunakan, yaitu teknik sampling acak (random sampling). Pengumpulan data penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan teknik skala ex-post facto. Skala tersebut digunakan untuk mengungkap data variabel disiplin belajar, rasa ingin tahu dan prestasi belajar, maka disediakan empat pilihan jawaban, yaitu selalu, sering, kadang-kadang, dan tidak pernah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Disiplin belajar berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa mata pelajaran IPA Kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 55/I Sridadi. Kesimpulan tersebut dibuktikan dengan kontribusi pengaruh variabel disiplin belajar siswa yaitu sebesar 3% dengan nilai F hitung 3.643 dan memiliki nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.033. (2) Rasa ingin tahu berpengaruh positif terhadap prestasi belajar siswa mata pelajaran IPA kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 55/I Sridadi. Kesimpulan tersebut dibuktikan dengan kontribusi pengaruh variabel rasa ingin tahu siswa yaitu sebesar 20% dengan nilai Fhitung 2.834 dan memiliki nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.050. (3) Disiplin belajar dan rasa ingin tahu secara bersamaan berpengaruh positif terhadap prestasi belajar siswa mata pelajaran IPA Kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 55/I Sridadi. Kesimpulan tersebut dibuktikan dengan kontribusi pengaruh variabel yaitu sebesar 33.1% dengan nilai Fhitung 11.201 dan memiliki nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.000.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning activeness of third-grade students at SDN 121/I Muara Singoan through the implementation of the cooperative learning model, Teams Games Tournament (TGT), supported by multiplication domino media. The issue addressed is the low level of student engagement in mathematics learning, as indicated by limited participation, minimal peer interaction, and a lack of interest in the subject matter. To overcome this problem, the study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted over two cycles. Each cycle consisted of four stages: planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 20 third-grade students. Data were collected using observation, interviews, and documentation. Indicators used to measure learning activeness included interest, attention, response to the teacher, involvement in discussions, and teamwork skills. The results showed a consistent increase in students' learning activeness over time. In the pre-action stage, student activeness was at 25%. After the implementation of the first cycle, it increased to 53.94%, and in the second cycle, it rose significantly to 73.89%. This improvement indicates that the TGT cooperative learning model, supported by multiplication domino media, is effective in creating a more enjoyable learning environment, encouraging active student participation, and strengthening social interaction in the classroom. Therefore, this model can serve as an innovative and practical learning strategy to enhance student engagement in mathematics learning at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the planning, implementation, and evaluation processes of differentiated instruction in the IPAS subject for Grade V elementary students. The problem arises from teachers’ difficulties in accommodating students’ diverse learning styles, interests, and readiness within the Merdeka Curriculum framework. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects were a Grade V teacher and students at SDN 198/I Pasar Baru. The findings show that the teacher applied differentiation through three main components: content, process, and product. Diagnostic assessments were conducted to identify students’ readiness, followed by the design of learning activities adapted to their learning styles (visual, auditory, kinesthetic). Instruction was carried out in groups according to student ability levels, and evaluation was conducted using formative assessment and class reflection. Differentiated instruction was shown to enhance student engagement, self-confidence, and conceptual understanding. However, challenges such as limited time and the complexity of preparing differentiated materials remain. This study recommends ongoing training and support for teachers to effectively design and manage student-centered, adaptive learning environments.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) describe teachers’ perceptions of self-preparation in facing the Merdeka Curriculum at SD Negeri 13/1 Muara Bulian, and (2) identify the factors influencing teachers' self-preparation. This descriptive qualitative research involved interviews and documentation for data collection. The subjects were the principal, homeroom teachers, and subject teachers totaling four participants. The results show that teachers have a positive perception of the importance of self-preparation. Teachers have begun preparing by seeking information about the Merdeka Curriculum through the internet and the Merdeka Mengajar platform. They also attend school-facilitated seminars, engage in peer discussions, and improve their technological skills for teaching and assessment purposes. Influencing factors in teacher preparation include leadership, motivation to become engaging educators, student characteristics, relevant curriculum development, innovative teaching methods, professional growth, and collaboration with parents. Based on the findings, it is recommended that teachers continue to strengthen their understanding of the Merdeka Curriculum using available resources, and schools are encouraged to support teacher readiness through appropriate facilities and training opportunities.
