Abstract

This research aims to optimize Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) implementation in production waste management at Batik Royyan Tuban by integrating the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method based on POM-QM for Windows software. The research method used is a case study with a mixed approach: descriptive and quantitative analysis. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and primary and secondary documentation. The results show that the application of EOQ with an annual demand of 19,800 units results in an optimal order quantity of 890 units per order with a total annual inventory cost of Rp 2,224,860. This strategy reduces ordering frequency, optimizes storage space, reduces raw material waste, and supports energy efficiency and carbon emission reduction. The integration of EOQ and GSCM has significantly impacted operational efficiency and environmental sustainability in the batik industry sector.

Abstract

Penelitian pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji ketidakefisienan pengelolaan usaha warung makan kuning ditinjau dari penerapan fungsi manajemen sumber daya manusia. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawancara mendalam terhadap pemilik usaha. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa ketidakefisienan pengelolaan usaha disebabkan oleh belum optimalnya penerapan fungsi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pengarahan, dan pengawasan sumber daya manusia. Pemilik usaha masih mengandalkan pengalaman dan intuisi dalam perencanaan produksi dan tenaga kerja, pembagian tugas belum jelas, pengarahan kerja belum terstruktur, serta pengawasan terhadap keuangan dan operasional belum berjalan secara konsisten. Kondisi tersebut menyebabkan beban kerja tidak seimbang, keterbatasan pemanfaatan peluang pasar, serta tingginya ketergantungan usaha pada peran pemilik. Kegiatan pengabdian ini memberikan pemahaman awal kepada pelaku usaha mengenai pentingnya pengelolaan sumber daya manusia sebagai aset strategis sehingga diharapkan mampu meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, kualitas pelayanan, dan keberlanjutan usaha warung makan kuning di Kecamatan Cerme.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) contribute over 60% to Indonesia’s GDP, yet most MSME actors face challenges in building strong brand identity due to limited branding knowledge and digital literacy. This research analyzes the business mentoring process in strengthening brand identity of BTPN MSME customers in Wiyung, Surabaya. A qualitative descriptive method was employed using participatory observation, in-depth interviews with five MSME actors. Findings reveal that participatory mentoring successfully enhanced MSME actors’ understanding of brand identity, produced tangible changes in visual elements such as logos and packaging design, and increased entrepreneurial confidence and motivation. MSME actors also demonstrated improved utilization of digital platforms for promotion. The mentoring effectively strengthened all six dimensions of Kapferer’s brand identity model. This research confirms that business mentoring plays a strategic role in building MSME independence and strengthening their market competitiveness.

Abstract

Production waste is one of the main challenges in the food processing industry, particularly in the poultry processing sector, which generates large volumes of solid and liquid waste. This issue not only reduces operational efficiency but also poses risks to environmental sustainability. This research aims to apply the Green Productivity concept to minimize waste and improve production efficiency in the nugget processing line at PT XYZ. A descriptive quantitative approach was used with analytical methods including material balance, productivity measurement, waste identification, Environmental Performance Index (EPI), Green Productivity Index (GPI), and Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). The results indicate that the integration of green productivity significantly enhances production efficiency and reduces waste from oil and flour. The increasing GPI reflects sustainable efficiency, while EPI shows improvements in environmental performance. Furthermore, waste cooking oil was innovatively processed into solid soap as an economical and eco-friendly solution.

Abstract

The Warung Nasi Bu Menik MSME in Keboananom Village faces the challenge of limited marketing reach, which hinders the growth of its consumer base. This community service project aims to increase the visibility and accessibility of the business by optimizing the Google Maps platform and Facebook social media. The method used is participatory assistance, which includes adding the business location to Google Maps and creating and managing promotional content on the Facebook account. The results of the activity show that the integration of Google Maps has succeeded in facilitating consumer navigation to the physical location, while the use of Facebook has significantly expanded product information exposure. The use of integrated digital media has proven to be effective in increasing the online presence of MSMEs, which is a crucial foundation for the competitiveness of micro businesses in the digital era.
