Abstract

Generation Z voters are easily influenced by exposure to money politics and hoaxes during the general election. This study was conducted to reveal the role of social media in shaping the political behavior of Muslim Generation Z voters in the 2024 general election. This article is the result of qualitative research that specifically describes the behavior of Muslim Generation Z voters. Data collection was carried out using two techniques. First, questionnaires were distributed to 133 respondents, Muslim Generation Z voters consisting of college students and high school students. Second, in-depth interviews with 11 informants comprised of college students and students. The data analysis used in this study uses content analysis in the form of respondents' and informants' answers, which have been collected through questionnaires and in-depth interviews. The results of the study show that Muslim Generation Z voters are familiar with social media such as Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, and WhatsApp. These social media are used by Muslim Generation Z voters to access political information. Furthermore, political information on social media plays a role in shaping the behavior of Muslim Generation Z voters in various forms, starting from just being voters, implementing committees, and election supervisors. This study contributes to the theory of voter behavior, shaped not only by sociological, economic, and psychological factors but also by communication factors, especially on social media.

Abstract

National sports governance in Indonesia is an important focus in building character, and discipline and achieving optimal achievements at the national and international levels. This article explains the importance of national sports governance from the perspective of state law and administration. The principles of good governance, such as accountability, transparency, community participation, fairness, and effectiveness, are the main foundation in national sports management. Clear regulations, including Law Number 3 of 2005 concerning the National Sports System, provide a strong legal basis. However, several challenges such as a legal framework that is not yet comprehensive, lack of coordination among stakeholders, limited resources, and abuse of authority need to be addressed. Improving regulations, strengthening coordination, increasing transparency, and accountability, and developing human resources in the field of sports are needed. This effort is expected to improve sports achievements and achieve better national sports development goals in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the adaptation strategies of State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in carrying out bureaucratic functions in conflict areas. This study used a qualitative approach with an interpretive phenomenological method. Informants were selected purposively, consisting of six ASN: three district employees, two civil servant teachers, and one health worker. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, contextual observation, and documentation. Analysis was conducted through rereading, thematic tagging, and hermeneutic interpretation. The results of the study: (1) physical and spatial adaptation, namely the transfer of services from offices to residents' homes or security posts; (2) relational adaptation, through negotiations with traditional leaders and armed groups; (3) psychological and spiritual adaptation, in the form of communal prayer, collective humor, and emotional solidarity; and (4) moral adaptation based on service motivation, where ASN persist not because of formal orders, but because of a sense of responsibility to the community. These findings strengthen the relevance of the theories of street-level bureaucracy (Lipsky), adaptive governance (Folke), public service motivation (Perry & Wise), and coping strategies (Lazarus & Folkman).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan pegawai dan disiplin kerja terhadap efektivitas kerja pegawai melalui motivasi kerja pada Kantor Sekretariat DPRD Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 80 responden yang diambil dari populasi 100 pegawai menggunakan rumus Slovin. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan penyebaran kuesioner kepada responden. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji asumsi klasik yang meliputi uji normalitas, multikolinearitas, dan heteroskedastisitas, serta analisis jalur untuk melihat hubungan langsung dan tidak langsung antar variabel penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan pegawai berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap efektivitas kerja pegawai dengan nilai t hitung sebesar 6,162 lebih besar dari t tabel 1,992 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000 lebih kecil dari 0,05. Disiplin kerja juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap efektivitas kerja pegawai dengan nilai t hitung sebesar 6,120 lebih besar dari t tabel 1,992 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000 lebih kecil dari 0,05. Pelatihan pegawai dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja dengan nilai t hitung masing-masing sebesar 5,914 dan 5,536. Motivasi kerja juga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap efektivitas kerja pegawai dengan nilai t hitung sebesar 10,669 dan signifikansi 0,000. Hasil uji simultan menunjukkan nilai F hitung sebesar 37,965 lebih besar dari F tabel 3,96 dengan signifikansi 0,000. Kesimpulannya, pelatihan pegawai, disiplin kerja, dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan efektivitas kerja pegawai
