Abstract

This research has objectives to know the Students' Perception and Motivation in Using Infographics for Learning English . This research generally answers two questions as: (1) What are students‟perception in using infographics for learning english? and (2) How are students‟ motivation in using infographics for learning english.This study shows that students' perception and motivation in using infographics are high, as seen by each statement concerning the students' questionnaire responses.Based on the findings of the study, it can be concluded that students' responses and comprehension of infographics are high, and that their motivation to learn English is also high

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using e-portfolio, especially Google Sites, in improving students' writing skills, focusing on two main aspects: grammar and organization. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 21 Gowa using a quantitative approach with a pre-experiment design. A total of 35 students from class XI MIPA 1 were selected as research samples through purposive sampling, considering their relevance and availability for the study. To collect data, students were given writing tests before (pre-test) and after (post-test) the application of e-portfolio. The test was designed to evaluate their writing performance in terms of grammatical accuracy and organization. The students developed and uploaded their writing assignments through Google Sites, which allowed for continuous feedback and revision throughout the learning process. The data collected was then analyzed using Paired Sample T-Test in SPSS to determine if there was a statistically significant difference in students' writing performance before and after the treatment. The findings showed significant improvement in both aspects of writing. The average grammar score increased from 47.14 to 80.71, reflecting an increase of 71.21%, while the organization score increased from 49.28 to 82.14, or an increase of 71.11%. Statistical analysis showed a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), which confirmed the effectiveness of the e-portfolio. These results suggest that integrating digital tools such as Google Sites into writing instruction can foster better learning outcomes, increase student engagement, and encourage greater autonomy in the writing process.

Abstract

Ariana, 2022, The number of negative impacts regarding milenial social phenomena is more ofthen this social social climber who has negative or violates islamic law. Because in the Qur’an it is explained that the purpuse of this how the solution to this social climber is to remember Allah, be selective in choosing friend, avoid hedonism, avoid useles meeting so that we avoid social climber behavior. Is a tescrictive qualitative research. This research also uses the library research method or literature study with a data analysis approach in the interpretation methodology that the authour uses in this study the tahlili method. The tahlili approach interprets surah Al-Isra verse 37 regarding social climber in or the prohibition of social climber in the verse. This study shows how this verse prohibit social climber in social media in this is millenial era. In this discussion, there is tafsir Quraish Shihab. According to tafsir Quraish Shihab, social climber is a prohibition on arrogance, because arrogance is the biggest direction in acquiring knowledge that leads to virtue and serious illness that breeds ignorance so that it leads the perpetrators to evil.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana kontribusi ekonomi membentuk relasi kuasa antara masyarakat Tionghoa dan masyarakat lokal di Kabupaten Bone, Indonesia, dalam perspektif ekonomi politik dan identitas etnik. Meskipun masyarakat lokal mendominasi institusi politik formal, masyarakat Tionghoa memainkan peran strategis dalam perekonomian daerah, khususnya pada sektor perdagangan serta usaha kecil dan menengah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana kerja sama ekonomi membangun relasi kuasa dan integrasi sosial antara kedua kelompok. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi, serta dianalisis menggunakan model analisis data interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kontribusi ekonomi masyarakat Tionghoa menghasilkan relasi kuasa yang bersifat fungsional dan laten, yang dibangun atas dasar ketergantungan timbal balik, kepercayaan, dan jaringan ekonomi, bukan melalui dominasi politik. Kerja sama dalam perdagangan, hubungan kerja, dan sistem kredit informal memperkuat legitimasi sosial, modal sosial, serta integrasi lintas etnis. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kuasa dalam konteks ini bersifat menyebar dan produktif, dijalankan melalui praktik ekonomi sehari-hari dan nilai budaya lokal seperti sipakatau dan sipakalebbi. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada kajian ekonomi politik dan ilmu sosial dengan menunjukkan bagaimana relasi kuasa berbasis ekonomi dalam konteks multikultural lokal mampu menciptakan stabilitas, kerja sama, dan kohesi sosial tanpa melahirkan dominasi hegemonik.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the principal’s leadership style on teachers’ work motivation at SMP Al-Washliyah 5 Hamparan Perak. The principal’s leadership plays a strategic role in directing, motivating, and creating a conducive working environment to support teachers in performing their professional duties effectively. Teachers’ work motivation is a crucial factor affecting their performance, commitment, and professionalism in the teaching and learning process. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to teachers as respondents and analyzed using inferential statistical techniques. The results indicate that the principal’s leadership style has a significant effect on teachers’ work motivation. These findings suggest that the more effective the leadership style applied by the principal, the higher the level of teachers’ work motivation in carrying out their responsibilities. Therefore, principals are expected to implement appropriate, participative, and human-resource-oriented leadership styles to enhance teachers’ motivation and improve the quality of education in schools.

Abstract

Improving the quality of educational management is a strategic imperative in the face of dynamic social change and scientific advancements. In this context, visionary leadership is viewed as a key factor that serves as a catalyst for driving change and fostering continuous quality improvement. This study aims to analyze the role of visionary leadership as a catalyst in improving the quality of educational management. The research approach used is qualitative, employing data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that visionary leadership plays a significant role in formulating clear policy directions, building a shared vision, and mobilizing all organizational components to enhance management effectiveness. Furthermore, visionary leadership is capable of creating a conducive organizational culture, improving human resource performance, and strengthening a management system that is adaptive to change. Thus, visionary leadership has proven to be the primary catalyst for the systematic and sustainable improvement of educational management quality

Abstract

This research aims to find out, what are teachers' perceptions of the use of Assessment for Learning in the Kurikulum Merdeka This research method is qualitative research with phenomena experienced by research subjects, such as behavior, perception, motivation, action, etc. Research data collected through interviews. This research was carried out at SMP Negeri 1 Kelara which used two teachers as subjects. The findings of this research indicate that the use of assessment for learning in the Kurikulum Merdeka it is difficult to ensure that teachers truly understand the concepts and apply them with the aim of improving learning rather than simply assessing outcomes. Because teachers have not seen the real results or effects of using this assessment, teachers sometimes face difficulties in directly assessing its success. In other words, although both approaches are expected to improve student learning, the difficulty in measuring their impact directly can make teachers feel uncertain about their effectiveness. This means that teachers must undergo more training so that teachers can understand and master well how to use it as/for assessment in learning.

Abstract

This research aims to explore educational innovation in Islamic boarding schools in order to build a superior and competitive generation. Using a qualitative approach and case study design, this research analyzes innovative strategies implemented in several selected Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia. Research findings show that these Islamic boarding schools have made various innovations in the curriculum by integrating the national and traditional curriculum, as well as utilizing technology in the learning process. Apart from that, developing soft skills through comprehensive training programs and adopting an active learning approach is the main focus in efforts to improve students' competency. Collaboration with various parties, including higher education institutions and the industrial sector, also expands the network and resources available to Islamic boarding schools. These innovations have a positive impact on improving the academic, religious, and social, emotional and intellectual abilities of students, so that they are able to compete in the global job market. However, this research also identified challenges faced by Islamic boarding schools, such as limited resources and resistance to change from several parties within the Islamic boarding school.
