Abstract

This article investigates the influence of madrasah principal leadership on the madrasah teachers' teaching performance in the digital era. The study used a quantitative approach, and the survey method involved 124 respondents randomly selected from seven madrasahs in Jepara, Indonesia, based on cluster techniques. The results revealed that the F-test obtained F-statistic> F-table (39.824 > 3.07) and significance (0.000 < 0.05), indicating that the leadership of the madrasah principal exerted a positive and significant influence on the madrasah teacher's performance. The coefficient of determination test results exhibited an R Square (R2) value of 0.240, meaning that teacher teaching performance is influenced by the leadership variable of the madrasah principal by 24% and 76% by other variables. These findings provide a foundation for understanding the critical role of madrasah principal leadership in improving teacher-teaching performance. Further research is recommended to consider the factors affecting teaching performance and expansion.

Abstract

This research aims to examine how the values of faith in angels, especially in terms of responsibility, can be applied in more holistic educational practices in the modern era. This research uses a qualitative method with a literature approach. The analysis technique goes through three stages: Data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study show that the implementation of angels' responsibility in carrying out their duties as teachers is very relevant and has a positive impact on the quality of education, both in terms of students' academic results and their character building. Trustworthiness in carrying out tasks, unconditional obedience, sincerity in every task, justice in carrying out tasks, and patience in carrying out heavy tasks are important elements that help teachers face various challenges that arise in the modern era. Teachers who emulate the nature of angels, who have integrity, sincerity, and a sense of responsibility, will be able to create a conducive learning environment and guide students to develop not only in knowledge but also in the formation of a strong character. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana nilai-nilai keimanan kepada malaikat, khususnya dalam hal tanggung jawab dapat diterapkan dalam praktik pendidikan yang lebih holistik di era modern. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan kepustakaan. Teknik analisis melalui tiga tahapan: Kondensasi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Implementasi sifat tanggung jawab malaikat dalam menjalankan tugas sebagai guru sangat relevan dan memberikan dampak positif terhadap kualitas pendidikan, baik dalam hal hasil akademik siswa maupun pembentukan karakter mereka. Amanah dalam menjalankan tugas, kepatuhan tanpa syarat, keikhlasan dalam setiap tugas, keadilan dalam menjalankan tugas, dan kesabaran dalam menjalankan tugas berat merupakan elemen-elemen penting yang membantu guru dalam menghadapi berbagai tantangan yang muncul di era modern. Guru yang meneladani sifat malaikat, yang memiliki integritas, kesungguhan, dan rasa tanggung jawab, akan mampu menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang kondusif, serta membimbing siswa untuk berkembang tidak hanya dalam ilmu pengetahuan, tetapi juga dalam pembentukan karakter yang kuat.

Abstract

Schools have the function of providing guidance and development of all the potential of students, both in the form of physical, intellectual and moral potential. Therefore, schools provide physical and non-physical facilities, especially extracurricular activities. This study aims to analyze the management process of educational facilities and infrastructure in optimizing extracurricular activities.  This research is a qualitative study with data collection techniques by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by data reduction, data discussion, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study concluded that the management of facilities and infrastructure at Junior High School 30 Semarang includes planning, procurement, use, inventory, maintenance, and elimination. The process begins with planning needs, followed by procurement through an online shopping system according to Ministry of Education and Culture regulations. The use of facilities and infrastructure is supervised by the deputy head of facilities and infrastructure. Inventory is conducted regularly to reduce the risk of loss, while maintenance involves extracurricular parties in maintaining the condition of the facilities. Items that are not suitable will be removed according to the procedure. Supporting factors include the support of the school community, while inhibiting factors include teachers' workload and limited funds.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of knowledge and religiosity on attitudes toward Islamic banks and the saving intentions of Generation Z Muslims. Data were collected using a convenience sampling method from students at Islamic higher education institutions in Central Java, Indonesia. A total of 210 respondents aged 17-27 participated in the study. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The findings reveal that both knowledge and religiosity significantly shape attitudes toward Islamic banks among Generation Z Muslims. Knowledge emerged as the most influential factor shaping attitudes. Attitudes, in turn, significantly influence the saving intentions of Generation Z Muslims at Islamic banks. This study further demonstrates that attitudes are the strongest determinant of the saving intentions of Generation Z Muslims at Islamic banks. Practically, this research provides valuable insights for Islamic bank marketers in formulating strategies to attract Generation Z Muslims to save in Islamic banks. Theoretically, this study affirms the importance of integrating cognitive, affective, and spiritual dimensions in consumer behavior analysis to better understand and predict behavior.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas penerapan penilaian autentik (authentic assessment) sebagai strategi evaluasi yang efektif dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) berbasis karakter. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh dominasi metode penilaian tradisional yang cenderung mengabaikan aspek afektif dan psikomotorik siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui studi pustaka, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penilaian autentik dapat mengukur secara komprehensif perkembangan karakter siswa melalui tugas-tugas kontekstual yang mencerminkan penerapan nilai-nilai Islam dalam kehidupan nyata. Bentuk-bentuk penilaian autentik yang digunakan meliputi penilaian kinerja, proyek, portofolio, jurnal reflektif, serta penilaian diri dan antar teman. Meski menghadapi sejumlah kendala seperti keterbatasan waktu, pemahaman pendidik, dan subyektivitas penilaian, implementasi strategi ini terbukti mendukung penguatan pendidikan karakter dan spiritualitas peserta didik secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesenjangan antara pencapaian nilai akademik dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dengan implementasi nilai-nilai Islam dalam perilaku sehari-hari siswa. Fenomena ini menunjukkan bahwa keberhasilan kognitif siswa dalam PAI tidak selalu berbanding lurus dengan kualitas sikap dan karakter yang ditampilkan. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi literatur dari berbagai sumber yang relevan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa kesenjangan tersebut disebabkan oleh tiga kecenderungan utama, yaitu: dominasi evaluasi yang berfokus pada aspek kognitif, penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang kurang variatif dan kontekstual, serta kurangnya pemanfaatan evaluasi sebagai sarana pembinaan karakter siswa. Evaluasi pembelajaran yang hanya menekankan pada aspek pengetahuan membuat siswa cenderung menghafal tanpa menginternalisasi nilai. Di samping itu, kurangnya keteladanan guru dan lemahnya lingkungan sekolah serta keluarga dalam mendukung internalisasi nilai juga menjadi faktor penghambat. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan perbaikan sistem evaluasi dan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih holistik, integratif, dan kontekstual. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan evaluasi PAI yang tidak hanya bersifat akademik, tetapi juga membentuk akhlak dan kepribadian religius siswa. Kajian lanjutan dengan pendekatan empiris sangat dianjurkan untuk memperkuat temuan ini.

Abstract

As technology developed, santri in Jepara started a furniture business with the skills gained when learning in Pesantren (Islamic boarding schools), studying (nyantrik) and training. This training aims to equip students with the skills to design 3D furniture to support their businesses. The training is carried out in two stages: 1) the preparation stage, selecting interested potential participants who have the motivation and potential to set up a furniture business; 2) the implementation stage with lecture, practice, question and answer methods and simulations. The results of the training show that; 1) Santri in Jepara is very interested in the furniture business, so they are excited and could learn 3D furniture design faster; 2) After attending the training, the students are able to: a) operate the SketchUp  program and can make simple furniture designs, b) develop furniture designs with various shapes, and some have tried to make carving designs, c) have a great enthusiasm to develop expertise in the furniture business by self-learning through social media.

Abstract

National Assessment is presented as an improvement effort, one of which is through the Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) and Character Survey. However, the contribution of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in supporting this assessment has not been studied in depth. This study aims to analyze the role of PAI in strengthening AKM and Character Survey, as well as identifying its implementation challenges. This study employs a literature review method. The findings indicate that PAI not only plays a role in character development but can also enhance literacy and numeracy through contextual materials such as zakat, inheritance, and analysis of the Quran and Hadith texts. The values in PAI also align with the indicators of the Pancasila Student Profile. However, there are still challenges regarding teacher readiness, infrastructure, and the suboptimal integration of assessment results into learning. This study contributes a new perspective that PAI can be an important part of the national assessment strengthening strategy.

Abstract

This study aims to construct and test the validity of the Islamic youth religiosity scale. The population in this study is Muslim students of senior high schools in Surakarta, Central Java, with a sample of 258 established using the random sampling technique. The data analysis used the Linear Structural Model. The result shows that the RMSEA (≤ 0.08) and GFI (≥ 0.09) values from the four dimensions (belief, ritual, social, commitment meet the standard values of compatibility with the respective values for RMSEA beliefs = 0.055 GFI = 0.94, RMSEA rituals = 0.026 GFI = 0.99, social RMSEA = 0.059 GFI = 0.91, commitment of RMSEA = 0.032 GFI = 0.97. This means that these dimensions (belief, ritual, social, commitment) can reflect the religiosity variables positively and fit empirical data. The most dominant dimension reflecting religiosity is the social dimension with an average factor loading value >0.05, and the weakest one that reflects religiosity is confidence because many items have a loading factor <0.05.

Abstract

Asesmen autentik merupakan pendekatan strategis dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di Sekolah Dasar karena mampu menilai keterampilan nyata siswa dalam menerapkan nilai keagamaan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi praktik guru PAI dalam menerapkan asesmen autentik, tantangan yang dihadapi, serta bentuk refleksi yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan efektivitasnya. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan studi dokumen terhadap tujuh guru PAI di berbagai sekolah dasar, penelitian ini mengungkap bahwa asesmen autentik diterapkan melalui praktik ibadah, jurnal harian, proyek keagamaan, serta penilaian diri dan sebaya. Kendala utama yang dihadapi guru meliputi keterbatasan waktu, kesulitan dalam merancang instrumen yang sesuai usia siswa, beban administratif, serta ketimpangan pemahaman terhadap asesmen autentik. Meski belum merata, sebagian guru telah mengembangkan praktik refleksi individual dan kolaboratif sebagai upaya perbaikan berkelanjutan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa asesmen autentik bukan hanya alat evaluatif, melainkan wahana transformatif dalam menanamkan nilai spiritual dan karakter islami. Oleh karena itu, guru PAI perlu diperkuat melalui pelatihan berkelanjutan dan komunitas belajar, sedangkan sekolah dan pembuat kebijakan diharapkan memberikan dukungan struktural berupa fleksibilitas waktu, pengurangan beban administratif, serta kebijakan yang mendorong asesmen kontekstual agar implementasi asesmen autentik dapat berjalan lebih optimal dan bermakna.
