Abstract

This research aims to describe and explain literature studies regarding the concepts of evaluation, effectiveness, and distance learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. Evaluating the effectiveness of distance learning programs in high schools during this period is particularly relevant due to the significant changes in teaching methods. This study employs a library research method, involving a comprehensive review of books and journal articles. The research process includes collecting articles, reducing and analyzing them, and drawing conclusions. Findings indicate that assessing the effectiveness of distance learning programs is crucial to determine the extent to which learning objectives were achieved during the COVID-19 pandemic. The goal of this research is to enhance the effectiveness of distance learning programs in high schools during the pandemic

Abstract

Students’ learning interest represents a crucial affective factor influencing engagement, persistence, and academic achievement. Nevertheless, instruction in Islamic Religious Education often remains teacher-centered and lacks interactive learning experiences, resulting in low student participation and motivation. This study examines the effectiveness of integrating the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model with Plickers in enhancing students’ learning interest. A quantitative quasi-experimental method with a post-test only control group design was employed. Participants were eighth-grade students at State Junior High School 1 Jati Agung, with two intact classes randomly assigned to experimental and control groups. The experimental group received cooperative learning through structured tournaments supported by a QR code-based Plickers response system, while the control group received conventional lecture-based instruction. Data were collected using a validated and reliable 20-item learning interest questionnaire covering enjoyment, engagement, attention, and curiosity. Statistical analyses included assumption testing, independent samples t-test, and effect size estimation. Results demonstrated that the experimental group achieved substantially higher learning interest scores than the control group. The independent samples t-test revealed a significant difference, t(76) = 10.928, p < 0.001. The magnitude of the effect was very large (Cohen’s d = 2.47), indicating strong practical and educational impact. Students exposed to the intervention showed greater active participation, enthusiasm, sustained attention, and collaborative interaction during learning activities. This study contributes novelty by integrating cooperative learning with an inclusive digital response system and emphasizing affective outcomes within Islamic Religious Education. The study contributes theoretically to technology-assisted cooperative learning literature and practically provides an accessible, low-cost, and replicable instructional strategy for fostering more engaging and student-centered classrooms.

Abstract

Teknologi yang terus berkembang pada zaman sekarang sehingga memunculkan budaya baru terutama di bagian pemesanan atau booking tiket online seperti pemesanan tiket transportasi, pemesanan kamar hotel, pemesanan tiket wisata dll yang memudahkan kita semua untuk memesan tiket dari rumah dengan menggunakan smartphone dan jaringan internet tanpa perlu mendatangi tempat, terjaga dalam keamanannya dan menghindarkan dari kehilangan tiket fisik. Di Indonesia perkembangan bisnis aplikasi booking tiket online seperti Traveloka, Tiket.com dan Pegipegi bersaing untuk menjadikan aplikasi booking tiket online yang terbaik .Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan pemilihan keputusan aplikasi booking online yang paling diminati dikalangan usia 18 sampai 25 tahun dengan menggunakan empat kriteria sebagai pertimbangan dalam memilih aplikasi booking online antara lain Harga, Promosi, Interface Aplikasi dan Keamanan dengan menggunakan metode Analysis Hierarchy Process (AHP).

Abstract

This study analyzes the transfer of parental financial responsibility particularly that of the father to underage children from the perspective of Maqāṣid al-Syarī‘ah, with the research conducted in Keteguhan Village, Bandar Lampung City. Using a descriptive qualitative field research method, the study finds that the transfer of financial responsibility frequently occurs due to extreme poverty, paternal unemployment, and a lack of parental responsibility. These conditions force children aged 10–17 to work in the informal sector to support their families. In Islamic law, providing for children is an absolute obligation of the father as qawwām, encompassing physical, spiritual, educational, and health needs. The transfer of this obligation is only permissible under emergency conditions, such as when the father is severely ill, incapable, or deceased, in which case the responsibility shifts to close relatives or the state not as a means of relinquishing paternal duty. From the perspective of Maqāṣid al-Syarī‘ah, this practice contradicts the principles of protecting life (ḥifẓ al-nafs) and lineage (ḥifẓ al-nasl), as it deprives children of their fundamental rights. Therefore, stricter law enforcement, religious education, and strengthened social assistance programs are necessary

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Discovery Learning terhadap keterampilan menulis puisi siswa kelas V SD di Kecamatan Ciracas. Metode penelitian menggunakan eksperimen semu dengan desain Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas 32 siswa kelas eksperimen dan 32 siswa kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes keterampilan menulis puisi yang disusun berdasarkan indikator penilaian menulis puisi meliputi diksi, imajinasi, majas, bunyi, rima, irama, dan tema. Hasil analisis data menggunakan uji-t dependen menunjukkan nilai t hitung sebesar 8,194 > t tabel 2,040 (p < 0,05), yang berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara pretest dan posttest kelas eksperimen. Rata-rata nilai pretest kelas eksperimen meningkat dari 75,19 menjadi 88,22 pada posttest, dengan N-Gain sebesar 0,4496 (kategori sedang). Hasil uji-t independen posttest kedua kelompok menunjukkan t hitung 4,374 > t tabel 1,999, dengan Cohen's d sebesar 1,094 (efek besar). Kesimpulannya, model pembelajaran Discovery Learning berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap peningkatan keterampilan menulis puisi siswa kelas V SD di Kecamatan Ciracas.
