Abstract

Particular emphasis on the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) paradigm, this research aims to investigate the innovative teaching approaches used in Pakistan's educational system. Pakistan is encountering several obstacles to preparing its educational system for the 21st century's demands. As a result, there is a crucial need for innovative methods of instruction. To solve the inadequacies associated with conventional learning methods that rely on memory, transformative pedagogies emphasise student-centred modern ideas and practices. This research investigates the adoption of online learning environments (OBE) in Pakistani schools and its impact on learner participation, critical thinking, and adaptability. The document acknowledges both possibilities and problems, especially about incorporating technology. Some of the constraints include limited resources and cultural expectations. A methodology that utilises many methods, including interviews, observations, and document analysis, was used during an academic year to contribute to the results. The findings of the study indicate that there are a variety of ways in which OBE is implemented, that there is a positive connection between transformational pedagogies and learner engagement, and that there are disparate effects on students at various educational levels. Among the suggestions that have been made in light of the findings are establishing a uniform OBE framework, developing faculty, and including technology. The long-term impacts and the influence of technology and community participation will be the prime focus of study in the future. The findings of this study provide essential insights that may be used to develop a dynamic educational system in Pakistan that can accommodate the demanding requirements of the changing global scene.

Abstract

An analysis of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in South Asian countries, including Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka, highlights the presence of socio-economic and political obstacles. This research examines the challenges that are impeding the accomplishment of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), such as poverty (SDG 1), health (SDG 3), education (SDG 4), and economic growth (SDG 8), utilizing data from the World Bank, IMF, WHO, and FAO. The financial facts given highlight the immediate need for significant actions. The report recommends that Developed Countries (DCs) take on a crucial role by allocating at least one per cent of their Gross National Product (GNP) towards development aid. Achieving success in implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) requires effective governance and the execution of structural changes. The report advocates for providing development aid from developed countries to underdeveloped countries (UDCs), aiming to foster the exchange of experiences to address common difficulties. The conclusions guide South Asian governments in formulating efficacious economic strategies to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030. In addition, the study examines 26 papers issued by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) that investigate sustainability in Pakistani Higher Education Institutions. An analysis of this research reveals both advancements and obstacles in pursuing Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). Various stakeholders actively participate in the transformational process, including administrators, leaders, instructors, and students. The examination focuses on governance, communication, coordination, and campus outreach and tackles problems. Aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), prioritizing logistical assistance and excellent education (SDG 4) is crucial. The study is a manual for educators, policymakers, and curriculum creators to promote Sustainable Development, assisting researchers in formulating inquiries for sustainable development objectives.

Abstract

A novel educational system has been developed using the Radial Basis Function (RBF) algorithm to address the limitations of traditional classroom environments, which often rely on standardized material and fixed teaching methods. This research assesses recent advancements in interactive intelligent education systems by combining Artificial Intelligence (AI) with interactive teaching methods. A model based on cognitive functions is constructed using the RBF algorithm to personalize instructional approaches and foster a self-directed learning platform. The research methodology involves a comprehensive literature review, developing an Education Intelligent System (EIS) using AI-driven cognitive modelling, and the implementation of the RBF algorithm within a neural network architecture. The system's effectiveness is evaluated through empirical methods, including extensive data analysis and continuous refinement based on student performance feedback. Additionally, a network topology model is designed to enhance the system's adaptability for different roles within the educational framework. The results show significant improvements in instructional effectiveness, learner engagement, and personalized learning experiences. This research demonstrates that AI and interactive technologies can revolutionize conventional educational methods, enhance learner proficiency, and cultivate a more dynamic and engaging learning environment. Future work aims to improve the system's user interface and analyze larger datasets to refine the AI algorithms further.

Abstract

Incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) into educational settings has been thrust forward using information and communication technology to improve the teaching and learning processes. In November of 2022, a significant advancement in this field occurred with the launch of ChatGPT, a chatbot powered by artificial intelligence. This cutting-edge chatbot can create logical and instructive replies, much like those that human users generate. Because of its versatility, ChatGPT has emerged as a potential supporter of open education. It offers helpful assistance, coaching, and feedback to learners who are self-directed, which in turn increases the learners' levels of motivation and engagement. This article aims to conduct an in-depth comparison and analysis of the elements above, focusing on the possible uses of ChatGPT inside educational settings. The particular goals include lobbying for adopting ChatGPT in academic settings and providing educators with various strategies and approaches to use ChatGPT in a manner that is both deliberate and successful in pedagogical or research endeavours. One of the primary objectives of this study is to encourage a well-informed discussion on the use of ChatGPT in educational settings. When it comes to incorporating ChatGPT services into educational environments, it outlines the fundamental techniques and approaches that should be used simultaneously.

Abstract

Chat Generative Pre-trained Transformer (ChatGPT) is an advanced machine learning model designed to generate and process vast amounts of data, enabling it to provide answers to various questions. This research aims to explore the benefits and drawbacks of using ChatGPT, particularly in the context of language learning, focusing on enhancing high school writing skills. The data for this study was sourced from digital media and academic repositories. ChatGPT plays a significant role in research by assisting in generating ideas for articles; however, it also presents challenges, including concerns about data accuracy, ethical considerations, and potential impacts on students' critical thinking abilities (Fuchs, 2023). Additionally, this study will examine how ChatGPT can be leveraged to enhance student's writing capabilities in an educational setting.

Abstract

The rapid socio-economic changes in emerging economies demand integrating educational technologies to improve learning outcomes and prepare students for the globalized economy. The successful adoption of these technologies relies on effective innovation management, which must address challenges such as limited infrastructure and varying technological literacy levels. This research investigates the role of innovation management in facilitating the adoption of educational technologies in emerging economies. It aims to identify strategies to overcome barriers to technology integration in education and analyze their impact on academic outcomes. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining quantitative data from global databases such as the World Bank's EdStats and UNESCO's Institute for Statistics with qualitative insights from interviews and case studies in selected emerging economies, including India, Kenya, Brazil, and Nigeria. Statistical analyses revealed a positive correlation between the Innovation Support Index and the Educational Technology Adoption Rate. For instance, India and Brazil demonstrated higher adoption rates (78% and 80%, respectively) corresponding to robust innovation support systems. In contrast, countries with lower innovation indices, like Nigeria, showed significantly lower adoption rates (50%). The study concludes that strategic innovation management is critical for driving the successful adoption of educational technologies in emerging economies. It emphasizes the need for policymakers and academic leaders to prioritize the development of innovation support systems to foster a conducive environment for technology integration. Strengthening innovation support systems significantly enhances the adoption of educational technologies, offering a pathway to improved educational equity and economic growth in these regions.

Abstract

This research focuses on understanding how transformational leadership affects teacher behavior, as well as its implications in the development of more effective leadership practices in the school environment. This research was conducted at MI Nurul Yaqin using a quantitative approach with a correlational method. Data was collected through questionnaires given to teachers at the school, which asked about their perceptions of transformational leadership and participation in Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). In addition, in-depth interviews were also conducted to understand more deeply. The results showed a positive relationship between transformational leadership and OCB among teachers at MI Nurul Yaqin. The analysis confirmed that the stronger teachers' perceptions of transformational leadership, the higher their involvement in voluntary behavior in schools, including in MI Nurul Yaqin. In addition, specific aspects such as the development of an inspiring vision also have a significant effect on teacher participation in OCB in the school. However, it is also important to note that other factors such as organizational culture and other leadership support may also influence teachers' contribution in creating an inclusive and dynamic school environment in MI Nurul Yaqin. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of transformational leadership in encouraging teacher volunteering behavior (OCB) in schools, including in MI Nurul Yaqin, and highlight that the development of an inspiring leadership vision can stimulate teacher participation in OCB in the school environment. Abstract

This research examines the phenomenon of Generation Alpha's consumption of religious content through social media at the Madura State Islamic Institute. The main focus of the research is to explore how Generation Alpha accesses and consumes religious information through social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube and to identify the challenges regarding the validity of the information. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach and in-depth interviews as data collection techniques. Data sources were obtained from IAIN Madura students who represent Generation Alpha and actively use social media for religious purposes. Data analysis was conducted by adapting data reduction, display, and verification techniques to find patterns and central themes in consuming religious information. The results show that Generation Alpha is more likely to consume religious content impulsively, prioritizing ease of access and attractive formats, such as short videos and infographics, without checking the authenticity of the source. Although social media provides convenience in obtaining information, the findings also reveal that the lack of information verification can lead to misunderstanding religious teachings. This study implies the need for a better educational approach to religious digital literacy to educate Generation Alpha in critically filtering information and prioritizing valid sources such as the Qur'an and Hadith. This research provides new insights for developing more effective and accurate digital-based religious learning.

Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of the Jibril Method in improving fashahatul qiro'ah (fluency in reading the Qur’an) at Riyadus Sholihin Qur’anic Education Park in Krejengan, Probolinggo. The Jibril Method is an innovative approach that emphasizes interactive learning through repeated practice, alternating reading between the teacher and students, and direct teacher guidance. This research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and analysis of learning documents. The results indicate that the application of the Jibril Method significantly enhances students’ fashahatul qiro'ah, as evidenced by improvements in letter pronunciation, application of tajwid rules, and reading fluency. The method’s success is supported by active teacher involvement, structured repetition, and high student motivation. However, challenges such as differences in students’ initial abilities and limited learning time were also identified. With proper time management and intensive guidance, the Jibril Method proves to be effective in enhancing Qur’anic reading skills. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for other Qur’anic educational institutions in optimizing their learning methods

Abstract

This study aims to develop comic-based teaching materials for the Akidah Akhlak subject, specifically on Living in Harmony and Neighborly Relations for fifth-grade students at MIN 2 Mojokerto, in the form of a printed book as a learning media. The design of this research is a Research and Development (R&D). The model used is a procedural model adapted from Dick & Carey’s development model. The results of this research are as follows: (1) comic book-based learning materials developed by simply presenting arranged pictures and equipped with balloon texts can improve the quality of students learning. (2) the material presented in developing learning materials based on this comic is only for the aqidah akhlak subjects, Neighborly Life, and community material of fifth grade of MIN 2 Mojokerto. (3) the eligibility of comic-based materials is done by three test experts, namely (a) the percentage of material experts acquire 85%, (b) the design learning materials expert gets a percentage of 86,6%, and (c) the practitioner or teacher gets 88,3%. Based on the survey, the three test experts believe comic-based materials are worth using as learning materials. (d) The interest in comic-based materials was obtained from the survey assessment performed by students, with an acquisition value of 88.8%. (4) The effectiveness of materials-based comics was assessed using a field test. Based on the field test, it can be concluded that the product materials-based comics produced are effectively used in learning. The paired analysis results showed a significant influence between the pretest and posttest. Based on ? 0.05 and df 19, then retrieved the t table 2,093 field test data retrieved that calculation based on a test-t sample of - 15,567 < -2,188 or t count lies in the area on the rejection of H0. Thus, learning by using comics-based materials in the learning material Living Neighborly Attitudes and Community can be used as learning materials that encourage the students to learn independently and guided. This study shows that comic-based teaching materials can effectively engage students and improve their understanding of Akidah Akhlak, especially on topics like living in harmony and neighborly relations. Using comics, teachers can create more interactive and enjoyable learning experiences that help students grasp moral and social values. This research suggests that comic-based materials can be a valuable tool in the classroom. It encourages further exploration of using comics in other subjects to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
