Abstract

This study aims to improve communication skills and student learning outcomes by applying the learning model of the Round Table and Rally Coach with the help of Picture Media to the fourth grade students of SD Negeri Wulur. The research method used in this research is (classroom action research). The type of research used in this research is classroom action research (CAR) with a qualitative descriptive approach and a quantitative descriptive approach. Qualitative descriptive research is research by searching and processing data - the data obtained do not use numbers. Based on the results of the final test of the second cycle, it showed that there was an increase in learning outcomes from the initial test showing 22.22% classical completeness, in the first cycle it reached 55% and the second cycle 100%. This shows that the application of the round table and rally coach learning models with the help of picture media has a very positive impact on learning in the classroom. In addition to student learning outcomes, the coomication ability of fourth graders at Wulur State Elementary School also increased. This can be seen in the teaching and learning process and students respond to learning well. The percentage of the implementation of learning by teachers in the first cycle reached 75% and the implementation of learning by students reached 77.89%. The percentage of the implementation of learning by teachers in the second cycle increased to 85% and the implementation of learning by students increased to 84.89%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement in learning outcomes of material on the effects of globalisation through the discovery learning model in Grade IV students at Kaiwatu Christian Primary School. The research method used was classroom action research, with the subjects being 22 Grade IV students at Kaiwatu Primary School. The results of the study show that based on the research results, the test scores obtained by students increased, namely the average initial test score of 40 increased in cycle I after the teacher used the discovery learning model in teaching with an average score of 60. Student learning outcomes improved in cycle II, with the average score increasing to 78. In addition to student learning outcomes, the results of observations and interviews also showed that, in general, students and teachers were very interested in the use of the discovery learning model in PKN learning in the fourth grade of SD Kaiwatu.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar dan motivasi belajar siswa dengan dengan menggunakan media video interaktif pada siswa kelas V SD Kristen kaiwatu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang difokuskan pada situasi kelas. Subjek Penlitian Tindakan Kelas ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Kristen kaiwatu yang berjumlah 20 siswa. Setelah proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media video interaktif dapat berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V SD Kristen Kaiwatu. Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dapat terlihat pada setiap pelaksanaan tindakan pada siklus I dan siklus II. Terjadi peningkatan nilai rata-rata siswa pada tes awal 43,75, meningkat pada siklus I 62, meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 75. Selain hasil belajar siswa, motivasi belajar siswa juga mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I 75%, menjadi 85% pada siklus II. Dengan demikian maka dapat dikatakan bahwa penggunaan media vidio interaktif dikatakan berhasil.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in IPAS subjects in grade IV of Syota State Elementary School due to teacher-centred learning and a lack of learning media. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes on the subject of ethnic, national, and cultural diversity in Indonesia through the use of audio-visual media. The research method used was Classroom Action Research, which was carried out in two cycles, each consisting of the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through observation, learning outcome tests, interviews, and documentation, then analysed qualitatively and quantitatively. The results showed that the use of audio-visual media was able to increase student engagement and understanding during the learning process. The percentage of learning completeness increased from 40% in cycle I to 100% in cycle II, and all students exceeded the minimum passing grade. Thus, it can be concluded that audio-visual media is effective in improving the learning outcomes of Grade IV students at Syota State Elementary School and is suitable for use as an alternative learning medium in elementary schools

Abstract

Kekerasan dalam rumah tangga (KDRT) merupakan masalah sosial dan hukum yang masih sering terjadi di wilayah Pulau-Pulau Kecil Perbatasan (PPKP), termasuk Desa Persiapan Nuwewang Warat yang memiliki keterbatasan akses terhadap layanan perlindungan hukum. Kondisi ini menyebabkan banyak kasus tidak dilaporkan dan minim penanganan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai bentuk-bentuk KDRT, hak-hak korban, serta mekanisme pelaporan melalui sosialisasi hukum yang dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa KKN. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi pemaparan materi, diskusi interaktif, dan sesi tanya jawab dengan melibatkan 30 peserta, terdiri atas pejabat beserta perangkat desa dan warga. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat, di mana sekitar 90% peserta mampu menyebutkan minimal tiga bentuk KDRT setelah sosialisasi, dibandingkan hanya 30% sebelum kegiatan. Selain itu, peserta menunjukkan peningkatan keberanian untuk melaporkan kasus KDRT serta munculnya komitmen tokoh masyarakat untuk terlibat aktif dalam pencegahan. Dengan demikian, kegiatan sosialisasi ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran hukum dan memperkuat peran masyarakat dalam mencegah kekerasan dalam rumah tangga di wilayah perbatasan.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat kesadaran hukum masyarakat pesisir dalam pengelolaan sumber daya kelautan di Desa Nuwewang, Kecamatan Pulau Letti, Kabupaten Maluku Barat Daya, yang merupakan wilayah pulau-pulau kecil perbatasan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Universitas Pattimura melalui metode sosialisasi hukum partisipatif yang melibatkan pemerintah desa, tokoh masyarakat, dan nelayan setempat. Materi sosialisasi mencakup dasar hukum pengelolaan wilayah pesisir dan pulau-pulau kecil, permasalahan umum di wilayah pesisir, pentingnya kesadaran hukum, serta peran aktif masyarakat dalam menjaga keberlanjutan sumber daya kelautan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat terhadap hak dan kewajiban hukum dalam pemanfaatan sumber daya kelautan, serta tumbuhnya kesadaran akan pentingnya pengelolaan yang berkelanjutan berbasis hukum dan kearifan lokal. Kegiatan ini juga memperkuat sinergi antara mahasiswa, pemerintah desa, dan masyarakat dalam upaya pencegahan praktik ilegal serta perlindungan ekosistem pesisir. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan penguatan kesadaran hukum ini berkontribusi positif dalam mendorong terbentuknya budaya patuh hukum dan mendukung pembangunan pesisir yang tertib, partisipatif, dan berkelanjutan di Desa Nuwewang.

Abstract

Desa Tutuwaru di Kecamatan Pulau Letti memiliki potensi mangga lokal yang berlimpah, tetapi selama ini hanya dimanfaatkan sebagai buah segar dan dijual tanpa diolah, sehingga tidak memberikan nilai tambah ekonomi bagi masyarakat. Permasalahan utama adalah kurangnya pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan inovasi dalam mengembangkan produk olahan berbasis potensi lokal yang dapat dipasarkan secara luas. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan masyarakat, khususnya kelompok ibu PKK dan Dasawisma, melalui pelatihan inovasi produk manisan mangga sebagai usaha rumah tangga berbasis potensi desa. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup tiga tahap, yaitu: persiapan (observasi dan koordinasi), pelaksanaan (sosialisasi, praktik pengolahan, pengemasan, dan pelabelan), serta evaluasi (pengukuran keterampilan, kualitas produk, dan kelayakan usaha).Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan bahwa 85% peserta mampu memproduksi manisan mangga sesuai standar sederhana, dan 80% peserta menunjukkan minat untuk mengembangkan produk sebagai usaha mikro. Produk manisan mangga memiliki cita rasa manis segar, tekstur kenyal, daya simpan 3 hari, serta kemasan berlabel “Manisan Mangga Tutuwaru” yang menarik dan beridentitas lokal. Kebaruan kegiatan ini terletak pada penerapan inovasi pangan berbasis buah lokal di wilayah kepulauan terdepan, dengan pendekatan pemberdayaan ekonomi kreatif dan penguatan branding desa.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of elementary school students remain a common problem in the learning process. This condition is generally caused by the use of instructional models that do not actively engage students, resulting in passive learning and limited conceptual understanding. One instructional model that has the potential to enhance students’ activeness and critical thinking skills is the inquiry-based learning model. This study aimed to improve the learning outcomes of fourth-grade elementary school students through the implementation of an inquiry-based learning model. This study employed Classroom Action Research conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research participants were fourth-grade elementary school students. Data were collected through learning outcome tests to measure students’ cognitive achievement and observation sheets to assess student activity during the learning process. The results indicated that the implementation of the inquiry-based learning model improved students’ learning outcomes in each cycle, both in terms of learning mastery and student engagement. Therefore, the inquiry-based learning model is effective in improving the learning outcomes of fourth-grade elementary school students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes by applying the Problem-Solving Learning Model in Social Studies in fourth-grade students at Patti Christian Elementary School. The research method used in this study is a qualitative approach with Classroom Action Research (CAR). Data collection methods used in this classroom action research include tests, observation, and documentation. The results of the initial test on fourth-grade students at Patti Christian Elementary School showed an average score of 45.62, an increase in cycle I after the teacher implemented the problem-solving learning model, with an average score of 67. The average score in cycle II was 80.92. Student learning outcomes improved in the final test of cycle II. In addition to student learning outcomes, observation and interview results also showed that students were generally very interested in applying the problem-solving learning model to natural resources.
