Abstract

With the rapid development technology network, management of a management network system be appropriate and correct. The number of users in accessing a network causes the network to be busy so that it will disrupt the smooth system of a network. Settings in managing network quality make data network access better and more optimal and support the smooth process of data transfer when accessing the internet. However, as the number of customers and partners increases, there must be additional value applied by the company. Constraints that will be found when a provider does not implement a network quality management system properly will cause an imbalance in the user's capacity to use internet services from the provider, thereby disrupting traffic stability and causing congestion on the internet network flow so that the bandwidth quality mechanism will be disrupted when accessing the network in real time. This also causes the network of uplinks that are delivered to customers to be unstable, where smooth access to upload and download data is needed by customers.

Abstract

Batam merupakan sebuah kota yang dikenal sebagai kota industri, pariwisata, serta religius dikarenakan beragamnya tempat ibadah dari masing-masing agama dan salah satunya adalah wihara. Selain untuk beribadah, wihara juga bisa menjadi tempat untuk umat beragama Buddha menyalurkan kegiatan-kegiatan di hari besar seperti peringatan hari Waisak, festival Imlek, dan kegiatan rutinitas lainnya yang dilaksanakan setiap minggu. Agar kegiatan tersebut berjalan dengan baik, dibentuklah satu sistem keanggotaan pada wihara dimana terdapat ketua dengan beberapa anggota yang sudah dibagi tugasnya sesuai kapasitas masing-masing. Di era digitalisasi ini, penerapan sistem secara komputerisasi dinilai sangat membantu dan memudahkan sebuah instansi atau organisasi. Sistem-sistem seperti keuangan, absensi, stok barang, ataupun sistem yang mencakup data-data penting akan mudah diolah dengan menggunakan sistem yang terkomputerisasi. Penerapan sistem secara komputerisasi di wihara-wihara Indonesia khususnya kota Batam, masih sangat jarang sekali dan Wihara Amitabha Batam merupakan salah satu contohnya. Absensi anggota, uang kas, stok barang, kontak pengisi materi, dan lainnya, masih diolah secara manual bahkan ada yang tidak tercatat. Perancangan sistem wihara terintegrasi dengan metode prototype, dimana metode tersebut merupakan metode yang memungkinkan pengembang sistem dan pengguna dapat berkomunikasi terkait sistem yang akan dibangun sesuai kebutuhan. Hal tersebut tentu akan mempermudah wihara Amitabha Batam dalam mengolah data yang mereka miliki.

Abstract

The Public Housing, Settlements and Parks Service (Disperkim) is an agency within the Batam City Public Housing, Settlements and Parks Service. As a document recorder of incoming and outgoing letters, Disperkim is expected to be able to provide administrative services related to conveying information, recording payment data to occupant data and low-cost housing data itself. Currently Disperkim still uses manual methods to manage data, namely with Microsoft Excel. This has an impact on the process of incoming and outgoing mail. Reporting data to leaders who still use manuals is often a problem in correspondence. So we need a system that can help admins in recording letters. This system was built using the PHP programming language and uses the waterfall method and MySql as the database. The aim of this research is to assist management in managing data in the Batam City Public Housing, Settlement and Parks Department and provide easy access to web-based incoming and outgoing letters. The advantage of this system is that it can be accessed anywhere as long as it is connected to the internet, and the existence of a database makes this system better in terms of cost compared to the system implemented previously.

Abstract

growth and evolution of the world of technology is increasing rapidly, especially in computer and smartphone technology which is no longer for digging up information but has utilized technology to enter the business world in the form of applications such as virtual enchancement. AR is a merges of the future physical then digital worlds by using 3D objects that can be designed with supporting software are useful for designing house as three-dimensional object that are used by property businesses in house sales to make it easier for eachother to interact where seller still sell manually by distributing several brochures and buyers lack the time to visit the location on person. the reason of this ponder is to plan home sales apps that is useful for a lot facilitating interactions between home sellers and buyers. In this research, several house designs were made using sketchup and then using unity to connect to the display and included in unity to create an application in the form of function buttons to make it easier to use and combine 3D objects with markers. Based on the designed test, the application can function and display 3D objects correctly.

Abstract

Technology is used in the form of business to make decisions in solving problems. One form of utilizing information technology is an expert system. Seeing the many benefits of corn, and the increasing demand for corn production, many farmers are cultivating corn plants which are considered to be a business opportunity for farmers. The source of problems often experienced by farmers is that corn plants are easily attacked by plant diseases which can attack at any time. To overcome and reduce this risk, farmers need to take appropriate action in maintaining these plants. However, currently there is still a lack of knowledge from expert farmers in dealing with disease attacks to determine the appropriate treatment for infected corn plants. As a result of delays in handling, corn farmers often experience significant losses, some even have crop failures. To achieve this goal, a problemsolving method is needed, namely using the forward chaining method, where this method is a search method that obtains accurate results based on known facts which are then matched with existing facts so as to find valid data and lead to a final decision.

Abstract

In this digital era, the tourism industry is one of the sectors that highly requires technology, such as the use of applications or websites, to remain competitive and reach a broader range of customer seeking tour and travel services. Tourism continues to grow rapidly alongside the increasing public interest in business, educational, or recreational travel. However, several challenges often arise in managing travel package sales, such as difficulties in booking processes due to limited accessibility, inefficient data management and a lack of flexibility in meeting customer needs. A structured system is designed using the Model View Controller (MVC) method to address these issues and meet the needs of both customers and companies effectively.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology, particularly in the Internet of Things (IoT), creates significant opportunities for smart solutions like IoT-based gas leak detection systems. Given the widespread use of LPG cylinders in households, small businesses, and large industries, this research aims to design a gas leak detection tool utilizing detection sensors on LPG cylinders. This tool is intended to reduce the risk of danger or fire incidents, especially in industries and restaurants. The study focuses on designing and implementing an IoT-based gas leak detection system using key components like the MQ-2 sensor, which detects hazardous gas, and a buzzer that serves as an initial alarm. Notifications are also sent via the Telegram application for immediate alerts. Testing results demonstrate that the system effectively detects gas leaks and provides timely warnings through both sound alarms and Telegram notifications. The gas detection accuracy is notably high, making it a reliable solution for minimizing fire or explosion risks caused by gas leaks. All components—MQ-2 sensor, buzzer, NodeMCU connectivity module, and Telegram application—work cohesively, fulfilling the system’s design goals and ensuring smooth operation. This research underscores the importance of IoT technology in enhancing safety and mitigating hazards in daily environments.

Abstract

The development of computer technology encourages companies to adopt digital systems, including payroll systems. However, the Sendanu Darul Ihsan Village Office, Riau, still uses a manual Excel-based method, which often triggers errors such as incorrect NIK input and inaccurate salary calculations. This research project aims to create a web-based payroll system using a hybrid method, namely a combination of the Waterfall method and the CodeIgniter 3 platform. This application is designed with a Model-View-Controller (MVC) approach to facilitate data handling, using Sbadmin2 bootstrap which provides a responsive, modern, and easy-to-use front end. The waterfall technique ensures that development is carried out in a structured manner through the steps of analysis, design, coding, testing, and implementation. It is hoped that this method will reduce errors, speed up the payroll process, and increase the efficiency of the village office.

Abstract

The development of digital technology, especially the internet, has provided convenience in various activities, including e-commerce-based transactions. This research aims to develop an e-commerce application for Markibong, an online store that offers various souvenirs from Batam, such as food, souvenirs, and clothing.This application is built using the open source Android platform to improve the efficiency of marketing, sales, and transaction processes. The development process follows the Waterfall method in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including needs analysis to the implementation stage. With this application, it is expected to expand customer access and increase revenue for Markibong stores.

Abstract

This research is related to the design of a web-based application for moving assistance services, where this application aims to help people to find moving services such as transporting goods, arranging neatly in new places and other features, researchers get an idea of the problems that have been surveyed during The research process in the community is that it is difficult for people to find moving services in helping them to move houses, offices and even transport used building goods, this problem is what makes researchers interested in creating a web-based application specifically to solve this problem, the application design will use UML ( Unified Modeling Language) to describe the program design with the method used is the SDLC (system development life cycle) waterfall.
